She failed to bring an abcess I had brought to the dentist's immediate attention and I now face expensive implant surgery. At that visit, I had tooth pain on the lower right side of my jaw, and I had told Dr. Levi that it was hard for me to tell exactly what tooth the pain was radiating from. After an exam by Dr. Levi, x rays were taken of tooth #30 and I was told by Dr. Levi that the tooth #30 was healthy and perhaps my tooth pain was caused by plaque buildup, even though I had a professional hygeine cleaning a month earlier. After that visit, I still had a toothache on the lower right side and two weeks later, a severe toothache on the lower right side of my mouth. Dr Levi referred me to an endodontic dentist for a root canal on tooth #30. As it turned out, the tooth that needed the root canal was in fact tooth #31, and the x rays that were sent to the endodontic dentist were not only of the wrong tooth, but the x rays were done so poorly that not even the root of the tooth was visible. If you value your teeth, find a different dentist!

When Dr. B unexpectedly passed away, I wasn't sure that I would stay. But my experiences with the new staff have won me over. Dr. Gorman is an excellent dentist. Mari is the best office manager I've seen! Christina is a natural with people at the front desk. Dr. Gorman immediately recognized and treated my abfraction and nighttime teeth grinding. I am now undergoing Invisalign to help cure the problem. I now am aware that all carbonated drinks are acidic and that I should rinse with water right after any carbonated drink. Dr. Gorman helped me transition to Invisalign trays while using my CPAP machine at night. I learned all about the new 3-D visualization of my teeth -- super cool. Dr. Gorman also taught me more about my newly prescribed CPAP machine (for sleep apnea) will help reduce teeth grinding and reduce dry mouth at night, which is bad for dental health. They know so much about all sorts of things which don't seem dental at first, but are all related to dental health! My final Invisalign trays will act as a mouth guard at night to prevent any further damage from nighttime teeth grinding. The staff as a whole work together with such goodwill towards each other and such high emotional intelligence. I think it must be a pretty good workplace environmemt, because it is certainly a very good place for me as a dental patient!
