Dr. T and her staff have been above and beyond exceptional in their care for my children for the past 8 yrs, my youngest in particular. The staff is helpful and professional. Dr. T is kind, patient, understanding and experienced. There is never a cold clinic feeling where you're just a number. You really get the family team vibe and know your children are in good hands. They also have a relationship with Montefiore Children's hospital for testings and specialists which is just across the street. I would definitely recommend Tiga pediatrics to anyone looking for a good balance of an old school family doctor and technically up to date experience that is so hard to find lately, especially in the Bronx.

I've had to call upon both Dr.'s for late night on call service and in the past I've had Dr.'s sounding annoyed that you are making an overnight on call but not the case here. They are very good at listening to their patients as well as the requests of the parents.

You're placed on hold for almost an hour, and then after being on hold for such a long time, you're then told, to leave your information and someone will contact. I have left my information, and guess what, I am still waiting for someone to contact in regards to my son physical form which he need for School. I can understand the pandemic and place some challenges, however, this poor service is not acceptable, being put on hold for almost an hour, the when staff finally answer, they put you on hold again and all of a sudden the calls get disconnected.

The receptionists greet you speaking Spanish, and are rude and nasty when you speak English. The wait time for a new patient appointment for my son was an hour and a half. That's really ridiculous for a peds practice. Then when we finally got called, the medical assistants stated they didn't get my son's records that were sent over weeks ago from Weill Cornell. I know for a fact they were sent over because they were confirmed before the appointment. I had to look up his meds while he got weight and height. When we met with Dr. Quijada he seemed cold and disconnected. How is this guy a pediatrician again? He asked a couple questions and looked at my kid, barely touched him and sent us downstairs to get a flu shot. He didn't say where to downstairs since this place is built like a school. So we sat in the waiting area we initially came to for about 20 more minutes before the lazy receptionist told us where to go. I think we will go back to my son's prior pediatrician we have been with and just do private pay. Piece of mind, bed side manor, and an organized pediatrician office is worth way more than some place that treats people like shit beneath the shoe! She made the experience informative and participatory for him - she engaged him in the process (doing a "science experiment") in a perfectly age-appropriate way. I've never seen a kid so delighted to be diagnosed with strep! Later that day, when I was having trouble at the pharmacy, the receptionist kindly offered to stay on the phone with me until our issue was resolved. I kept her on speaker for about ten minutes! Dr. Gidwani and her staff has consistently taken good care of my two children from infancy through the tweens. She is always responsive to questions, and it's easy to communicate with the office. We are very grateful to have this practice in our neighborhood.
