I can't say enough praise about Dr. Albert's knowledge, professionalism, skills, and bedside manner. Dr. Albert Henry has been my wife's orthopaedic specialist since she had a serious leg fracture last September! My wife is already disabled and is a slow healer. Under his expert care in and out of the hospital she avoided having surgery! His office staff is courteous, professional, and blindingly fast. How many doctor's offices actually run on time? As of April 4, 2016 their office will dissolve and merge with the Hughston Clinic, a nationally and internationally recognized Orthopedic center. Their new location is 4689 Highway 17, Fleming Island, Florida. Their new phone number is (904) 375-9753.

After being referred to First Coast orthopedics in meeting with Dr Albert Henry I chose to have surgery. After just a little more than 36 hours after surgery I've come to the conclusion that I do not regret having the surgery. Dr. Henry told me what to expect but what he didn't know was that his skills would alleviate most all of the pain. The first night after surgery I was able to sleep through the night without waking up whistling Uncle and a hand that was tingling so bad I could not stand. I'm grateful for dr. Henry and his team early after the surgery, I do plan and intend to have surgery on my right hand. To Dr Henry and all of his team I thank you very much for the bottom of my heart.

Dear Clinic Management and Orthopedics Team,…read more I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent appointment on August 27th. - Ahmed Saleh ( 300 St Elizabeth Wy Ste 210, St Johns, FL 32259) . While I appreciated the care during my visit, my post-appointment experience has been distressing, confusing, and unacceptable. I encountered several significant issues with patient follow-up and communication: 1. Lack of Physical Therapy Referral & Follow-up: I never received any outreach from your team regarding the physical therapy prescribed or discussed during my appointment. 2. Inaccurate and Unhelpful Phone Support: Because no one reached out, I had to initiate contact and call your office twice. Both times, the staff was unable to provide accurate information regarding next steps, pricing, or cost estimates. 3. No General Post-Visit Care Coordination: Aside from the unresolved therapy referral, there was zero follow-up or check-in following my visit, leaving me unsure of my treatment plan. Throughout this process, I felt completely lost. The staff operated under the assumption that I already knew how their internal processes work, expecting me to navigate post-care logistics as if I were a healthcare expert rather than a patient seeking help. As patients, we rely on your team's guidance, clear communication, and transparency--especially regarding costs and treatment plans. This experience felt unwelcoming, dismissive, and stressful. I hope you will review your post-visit procedures so other patients do not encounter these communication breakdowns. At this point , I am looking for a different option and treatment outside SouthEast facitities. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Marco Leone

Not understanding that I left and was being treated somewhere else until that doctor I was seeing left at and referred me out, so I contacted hughston to see a doctor I was recommended to. The office told me that they would not be treating me due to policies that if I had seen them and had a provider with them at another location of theirs and could not be seen. I explained I don't have a provider with them and was not treated they did not care and do not care about treating patients. I tried to ask how to resolve it and they just kept saying they can't see me because of policies. Well the policy they are explaining to me is wrong and they won't tell me the real reason they won't see me or give me an opportunity to fix it. I'm disabled and trying to seek treatment to fix it. They refuse to see me an id like to know why. I was polite to the staff and just kept being told no. My last conversation after they kept telling me policy policy was not as nice. I don't want to see them again after all this but they are discriminatory towards patients and don't care about proper patient care. It's a shame when an injured person is trying to get care and a place just simply telling them no because of who they are. Shame on this place because they do not care about patients health and wellness. They only decide who they want to see.

My broken bone was discovered in JAN 2021 while I was in OP following a car accident. Yesterday JULY 28, following x-rays at another well known ORTHO place, it still hasn;'t healed. Even though, I have it in reports that I have a copy of, both Dr Gibbs and the PA, stated "it was healed". All the people who work here are rude as can be. They all act as if they are superior to everyone else. This practice should NOT be allowed to deal with patients. If you have had a good experience here which I doubt, good for you. But it;s sad when a practice like this puts receiving $ from my insurance OVER THE WELFARE OF THEIR PATIENTS.
