When Jennifer started with us we thought she was great. It became a nightmare very quickly. She was to conduct a report for our lawyers after evaluating myself, my ex husband, and my daughter. My ex husband at the time had some issues with alcohol and since been identified as neglectful towards our child. When it was time to publish the report, she kept giving excuses and giving different dates to publish. TWO YEARS went by and the report was never published. My attorney as well as myself reached out to her multiple times, showed up to her office, she completely avoided us. We had to have a judge ORDER HER to complete the report. She still did not do that. She ended up having to return us our money we paid her and even then it's an injustice. Wasted time, wasted money, and even worse my own child warmed up to her and asking "why don't I go to see Ms. Jennifer anymore?" The most unprofessional experience I have ever incurred at the hands of a "licensed professional" and I will be filing a formal complaint with the board. This person shouldn't even hold a license.

She did give us some homework and we completed it. But it seemed after the first session she wasn't interested anymore. I then saw Louise, Geesh who is here to listen and advise and who's the patient. Overall, I am very disappointed with counseling from this " Wellness Center". Dr Sisbarro is a knowledgeable doctor who goes out of his way to help our family. After he gave us the results of her testing, we did behavior management counseling with him and she went from having multiple daily meltdowns and tantrums to having one short meltdown in two weeks and being "first time complaint" 80 percent of the time...after just the first behavior consultation session! This was worth our time and money! My husband is a pediatrician...he will strongly recommend Dr Sisbarro to his patients who need help with academic and/or behavioral issues from now on. I can't say enough good things about our experiences in the office! Only down side is it can take a while to get in because he is always so busy, but they will find a way to get a family in quickly if it's an emergency

We are very satisfied with Dr Michael Sisbarro. He consulted with us about our third grade…read moregranddaughter's difficulty with reading. He did extensive testing and identified her issues and helped us understand how we could help her. He met with everyone at her school to design her iEP. He also helped us in finding an excellent reading tutor. In just six months she has gone from struggling at the 1st grade level to being on grade. In less than a half year in school, her iReady reading score leaped by 105 points which was more than double what would have been satisfactory over the full year. Her grades improved from C's in the second grade to straight A's. It was expensive since our insurance didn't cover our granddaughter, but it was worth every penny. We learned that if she hadn't gotten back to reading on grade by the end of this year, she may never have caught up. In third grade a child is finishing their "learning to read" phase and entering the "reading to learn" phase. Mandarin Reading Clinic and her teachers at Julington Creek Elementary were also instrumental in her dramatic improvement.
