Well, I felt better about my son's challenges as soon as I spoke with her for the first time just to make my initial appointment. Ms. Brooks is very professional, knowledgeable, and ethical. She has taught my son some terrific strategies, and he's doing amazingly well. His teachers contacted me to ask what I have been doing differently so they can help other students as well. We took our 2nd son to Lequita for therapy as well, and he too is soaring. I cannot stop talking about the incredible experience we have had with Ms. Brooks. I survived 6 combat deployments with the United States Marine Corps as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician (EOD). I retired medically from a parachute accident in 2014 (Kuwait.) I've been BAKER ACTED! (4) days, (33) days inpatient in Pensacola. This business has received $150 almost 4 times a week for Seven* years SEVEN YEARS. Today after an unproductive session (they can't all be winners.) I receive a text of termination. Text, to me! Bad form in my opinion. Not my Doctor, Head of this Business, my Wife who is my legal Caregiver by the V.A. I have been let down today. America has let me down today. This saddens an already broken spirit, once 6 time war survivor. I leaned more into faith and chose to not agree with a therapist? And I'm cancelled? I made a TIKTOK that got to The WHITE HOUSE, so I could get funding for additional sessions. Also this "faith based" counseling center accepts LGBT clients. "Faith Based?" Or Business? From the moment I walked into Dr Amiel's office, to the time I left (in tears), I was surprised by his aggressiveness toward me and this was my first time meeting him. Because of his demeanor, aggressive and lack of interest in anything I was saying the entire time, it caused me to have and anxiety attack while still in his office. I came in fine and stable, I left hysterical and it took me a few hours to regroup.

My provider is Sunny and she's exactly that, Sunny. I'm sure she gets that a lot! But it's true. When you're struggling with mental health as badly as most people are who get to the point of needing TMS, it can mean the world to have somebody that accepts you, talks to you like a normal human, and lets you know you're okay and not broken. TMS has been so helpful in helping me to continue with life and accomplish the "little" things that others complete with ease. I'm able to do the dishes more frequently now, journal, meditate better, etc. The people reading this who think any of this is silly -- it's not for you, then!
