Well, I felt better about my son's challenges as soon as I spoke with her for the first time just to make my initial appointment. Ms. Brooks is very professional, knowledgeable, and ethical. She has taught my son some terrific strategies, and he's doing amazingly well. His teachers contacted me to ask what I have been doing differently so they can help other students as well. Today after an unproductive session (they can't all be winners.) I receive a text of termination. Text, to me! Bad form in my opinion. My provider is Sunny and she's exactly that, Sunny. I'm sure she gets that a lot! But it's true. When you're struggling with mental health as badly as most people are who get to the point of needing TMS, it can mean the world to have somebody that accepts you, talks to you like a normal human, and lets you know you're okay and not broken. TMS has been so helpful in helping me to continue with life and accomplish the "little" things that others complete with ease. I'm able to do the dishes more frequently now, journal, meditate better, etc. The people reading this who think any of this is silly -- it's not for you, then!
