Bruising from where she ripped out Iv

The doctor himself was nice. The problem was with mrs. Angela I believe her to be her name. I'm homeless and living in my car and believed to have heat exhaustion. Ems took me to this ER. As I was checking in telling her what's wrong I ask her to state I also have a rash when she looked she said that I more then likely had scabies! Then she goes to start my Iv and is rough with inserting the needle. As the Iv is going I talk to the doctor the doctor said i definitely didn't have scabies. Then mrs angela proceedes to come in with discharge paperwork and a bus pass for me..after she said the hospital doesn't help with transportation. Thankfully I asked the doctor about it. Then she proceeded to RIP my Iv out of my arm even though I still had 1/3 of the bag left of fluid.

This man when I asked not to get an attitude he pulled down his glasses and told me to go sit somewhere.Like intimidating me.

I've been to many emerge rooms, and by far they are the most caring! they do any tests needed and comfort you in time of worry.

This hospital is behind on tech. It's an inferior hospital compared to others local. Don't go there

She is very thorough and I love that they work with the Mayo Clinic so you get top-notch care on every aspect of your health I've never sat more than 15 minutes in the waiting area. And when you get to check out, they are super helpful and help you set up your next appointment. I know there could be a waiting list to get in the Mayo Clinic primary care, but I highly suggest getting on that waiting list because it's the best type of car I've ever had in my entire life

So with that said it a dam shame their policy for Primary Care Doctors outside the hospital. They refuse to take Medicare parts A and B with an extra supplement. It's heartbreaking that no other hospital in Florida blocks their Medicare patients from receiving family health care. Shame on them. They recruit other Doctors from other hospitals that have patients for over 10 years and then will not accept these patients on Medicare even if they have been with that physician for over 10 years at that physician's previous family practice. . Leaving the patient to fend for itself, now they have to start a whole new relationship with someone else. Shame on the Mayo. The Mayo should at lease accept the patients that have been with the physician that's moving over, they are not new to their doctor and really not new to Mayo.

I'm writing this as a family member of a patient who recently saw Dr. Shannon Leu at Baptist Health…read morein St. Augustine, and the way she was treated was completely unacceptable. One of the first things Dr. Leu reportedly said was, "You're young, why are you here?" That is an incredibly dismissive way to speak to someone who came in with legitimate health concerns. My family member tried to explain her symptoms and left feeling brushed off, belittled, and made to feel stupid for seeking medical care at all. She was so hurt by the interaction that she cried afterward. What makes this even more infuriating is that recent bloodwork has since supported the concerns she was trying to address. She had every reason to seek care, and instead of being listened to, she was made to feel as though her concerns were insignificant simply because of her age. She also said Dr. Leu repeatedly talked about retiring soon during the appointment. Quite frankly, if retirement is where your attention is, patients should not be the ones paying the price for it. People come to a doctor because they are scared, uncomfortable, or looking for answers. They should not have to fight to be taken seriously. This was not simply a disappointing bedside manner. It was a deeply upsetting experience that left a patient feeling humiliated and unheard. Based on what my family member experienced, I would strongly encourage others to consider a different provider if they want to feel respected and taken seriously.
