If you are one of those people who outlook everything on the menu that doesn't have the word chocolate in it, then I would say a trip to Patisserie Jin is worth your efforts. And when you do attend, here is a hot top for you: Jin Signature Fondant. I'm not usually one for puddings of such sort, however the fondant is ever so soft in texture and melts delicately in your mouth. Recommended!
What I really liked about this patisserie is that it has been created from of a young woman's passion and talent. As a result and ever since 2009, this little chocolate delight has been receiving rave reviews.
In terms of setting I think you would either love it or just like it. It's setting is best summed up as pristine, and is perfect in so many ways. However there is no cosy factor, and your discussions lack privacy.
The cakes here look absolutely amazing, and although definitely pricey, they are available for take away in gorgeous boxes that would impress even the harshest of critics. In fact it is also worth knowing that Patisserie Jin makes beautiful cakes for all sorts of occasions. Birthdays, weddings, christenings etc etc...
I will criticize (constructively) one thing. A major pet peeve of mine is when two people dine together and one order comes out significantly earlier than the other. Unfortunately this happened here. Perhaps next time I will state that I want my desserts to come out in sync.
My final recommendation is that you try it at least once because otherwise you will never know what you are missing. Don't forget to order the fondant! read more
