I was completely redesigning my backyard with a pool, decking etc. And I encountered the team after my landscaper had ruined a retaining wall. It was a nightmare. After a considerable amount of money spent with my landscaper already, Jeff arrived, consulted on the project, recommended a few solves and not only replaced the retaining wall, but further completed a beautiful formed concrete and artificial grass patio on top of pouring concrete along the side of my house. Up until recently, they were considered a 5 star company with the awesome patio cover they installed in 2022. Then earlier this year, my patio cover started leaking at one of the edges due to the water not draining where it's supposed to. Now it's much worse. I've called twice and also emailed and texted Jeff in the last month to get it repaired, since supposedly there's a lifetime warranty, and they don't seem too interested in providing quality customer service. What can I say besides these guys are the best. We first met Jeff about 5 years ago. Though we were not ready at the time to move forward, Jeff left a lasting impression with us. We hired Jeff's Company in 2019 to do a paver job in our backyard. At the beginning, I was optimistic about the project as the work done looked beautiful upon completion. A couple years after the job was done we had some MAJOR shifting in our pavers. Not only are our pavers buckling, but we are having sinking in areas as well. Our air conditioner now is quite literally sinking into the ground. Jeff came out and told us to get our HOA involved as he thought that it was due to tree root issues. We had a meeting with both parties to which Jeff agreed to have his crew dig up the affected areas to see who is at fault. That was 2.5 months ago. Despite my attempts to address these concerns with Jeff , I have not received ANY response. I have called and sent text messages MULTIPLE times a week for 2 months and have had ZERO response. The lack of communication is completely unprofessional. I would highly recommend anyone reading this review to do business with someone else. read more

Want to add photos of my back yard after a recent rain. I was told a lot of the cost of my yard work was for drainage. As you can see, I paid a lot of money for something that isn't working well at all. Before I had this done , I had a swimming pool for over thirty years and never had one problem with my drainage Jeff has contacted me and has someone scheduled to come out and see if there is a blockage. We have been considering a patio cover for sometime but it was one of those projects that always got postponed. Finally we decided 2020 would be the year of the patio, well little did we know it would be the year of the pandemic! My husband and I were planning to have new pavers put in our backyard for several months. I found Patios by B&B on Yelp and met with Jeff shortly after to review our project and get a quote. Jeff was patient and informative during our initial meeting and we decided to go with Patios by B&B to complete our project. After we paid our deposit our project was delayed for several weeks because of rain but Jeff kept in contact with us on a regular basis - we never had to wonder what was going on. They covered the spa, the pavers, and the windows before they started disassembling our old patio cover.They also did not leave trash in the yard or in the spa when they were finished, the yard looked great. .I loved that they went out of their way to please us. I was unhappy with the lights that we bought for them to install. I didn't notice that the color did not go with the patio until after they had finished installing them. This review has been a long time coming. My first good experience with Patios By B&B was the fixture of my patio posts. I was happy with their work, so I asked Jeff if his team could replace my outdoor drain since it was clogged with tree roots. Some time had passed (maybe a couple of weeks) until I called Jeff to see if he could schedule his team to come and repair my outdoor drain. I called him on a Friday morning, and his team came in the next morning where they completed the project in just two days. We could not be happier with our new Elitewood Ultra patio cover, designed and installed by Patios by B & B. Since we didn't know what was possible to do with aluminum covers, we are grateful that Jeffrey listened to what we asked for, and then pointed out some different ideas that really took it to the next level. Specifically, he pointed out that we didn't need a middle column, since they can span nearly 30 feet (we thought we'd need 3 columns). That opened up our view so much that the patio feels so completely open, with a near unobstructed view of the yard. We knew we wanted a square column instead of the usual aluminum supports. He pointed out an option we weren't aware of: They could hide the rain down-spouts inside the column, dumping into the underground drains: Check out the photo. This makes the installation beautiful and clean. He also showed the option of adding one more header (see the same photo from above), so that there was no space for birds to nest in between the inner and outer headers. Sure these options cost a little more, but they added so much to the aesthetic, that everyone who has seen it has been blown away by how awesome and well-built it looks. The installation crews were on-time, clean, professional and diligent. I don't think our experience could have been better. read more

I'd give 6 stars if I could. We visited their showroom to view the patio cover options. Then made an appointment for Jeff to come to our house. I do construction management for a living, often with difficult contractors. Jeff was great to work with. He communicates well by phone, text, email and in person. He helped design the patio paver layout and patio cover. He suggested more cost effective pavers (Orco and Angelus) and how to use them so the patio would look nice. Jeff offered ideas how to save money on he design and delivered several sample pavers so we could decide which to select. His price was fair. We had 3 change orders that I initiated: I had Paulino add a light switch, Jesus add the irrigation system, and we relocated a gas line to the existing BBQ so it met code. Demo went quickly (2 days). The pavers were done by Gabriel's crew and every cut came out perfectly. They took their time to see it was as my wife wanted. One join point wasn't what she expected and the guys changed it the next day. There were a couple of items that needed to be addressed (the new gas line leaked after the pavers were done) and Jeff had the plumber out quickly to repair it and his crews to reset the pavers, all at no charge. They patched all the stucco (even the pre-existing areas that didn't look so good) and repainted the walls (they bought the expensive Dunn Edwards paint I used on the house so it all matched). Paulino installed 3 lights on the patio cover they all work well. Jeff gave me advice on where to buy the lights and where to get the fountain at reasonable costs. On the final walk through I pointed out one sprinkler had a leak. Jeff texted a photo and within an hour Jesus ("No problem, sir.") was there to fix it. All of the crews from B&B were polite, skilled and conscientious. They cleaned up each day. The existing wires for the sprinklers and landscape lights were protected. I recommend using Patios by B&B for your project. read more

Our neighbor used these guys for their pavers and driveway. They said "he was ok", so I requested a quote for a small project. He was rather condescending, and his quote was more than triple the other 4 bids that I received. I doubt that he pays his workers 4X what everyone else pays. Needless to say, he obviously didn't get the job! My job turned out great, and they will be returning for all of our hardscape and driveway in a couple of months. I'm a believer in that you get what you pay for, But our neighbors that used these guys now have sinking pavers and several cracks in their concrete. Five years ago I had a gorgeous patio constructed by Patios by B and B, along with a front and a back porch, French doors and pavers throughout. We love our outdoor living room and have gotten countless compliments from family and friends. The last rainstorm, I noticed a little leak where the patio meets the porch and I called Jeff to ask for a service call to fix the leak. He sent someone out within a couple days and made the repair. Just had an Elitewood Ultra patio cover installed. Jeff, Greg and Angel did a great job. We were replacing an existing wood patio cover. Greg was great in making recommendations for us to consider in the replacement. Was able to go to the nearby showroom to see the materials before moving forward. Angel, the guy on the ground building the cover, was great to work with. As I'm retired, I was around while the construction was in process. Angel and I would talk about things as he was proceeding making some minor adjustments from the original plan which worked out perfectly.
