I don't even know where to start: costumer service is top notch. Design is beautiful. Workman's ship is reliable, timely, efficient, and extremely well done. Jeff, the owner is such a pleasure to deal with and has such a creative mind. He is completely honest and has beautiful design ideas. Patios by B&B is not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. Their prices are totally fair. Their work really speaks for itself and then the great costumer service on top of that just makes the whole experience a wonderful. read more

THIS COMPANY IS THE BEST AT WHAT THEY DO! Paul, second generation owner, is very "hands on" with each project. He checks in several times during the process to discuss any issues and kept me, the owner, informed. The workers sent to my home were amazing in performing the work. I got the most wonderful pergola which met and exceeded my expectations and that is saying a lot in today's word. I highly HIGHLY recommend this company to everyone. read more

I would have given them 5 stars based on how my initial experience was with them two years ago (3/2020) . I got a great price and the workers were fast and neat. With all the rain, I noticed that the covered section of my pergola was leaking. I've called several times and still have not been called back. It doesn't matter how good a guarantee they give you if they don't respond or follow up on your calls. read more

I can't say enough good things about Jeff, Greg and the rest of the Patios by B &B team and crews. I was completely redesigning my backyard with a pool, decking etc. And I encountered the team after my landscaper had ruined a retaining wall. It was a nightmare. After a considerable amount of money spent with my landscaper already, Jeff arrived, consulted on the project, recommended a few solves and not only replaced the retaining wall, but further completed a beautiful formed concrete and artificial grass patio on top of pouring concrete along the side of my house. They were extremely reasonable for pricing and I never felt like I was being nickel and dimed. The work is flawless and I felt taken care of. His crews were on time, detailed oriented, friendly, efficient and did masterful work. They even fixed a few other stucco issues they didn't create. All this while in the throws of major price fluctuations in the industry I was kept whole. I am SO LUCKY to have found them. My backyard is one of bliss. And I have Jeff and team to thank. I'm definitely going to have them do more work when I need it. Please consider them for a multitude of projects. You WILL not be disappointed. read more

What can I say besides these guys are the best. We first met Jeff about 5 years ago. Though we were not ready at the time to move forward, Jeff left a lasting impression with us. At no time did we feel pressured and he was completely patient while we decided. Fast forward to last year and we went forward with the pavers to beautify our backyard. Since getting these, we have spent so much more time in the backyard. During the process Jeff even found a local customer who had the same pavers and he arranged with her to allow us to come and see the product actually installed. Today we met with him again to get a quote for a patio cover to finish our backyard. If you're looking for a very good company in all ways, look no further. read more

Up until recently, they were considered a 5 star company with the awesome patio cover they installed in 2022. Then earlier this year, my patio cover started leaking at one of the edges due to the water not draining where it's supposed to. Now it's much worse. I've called twice and also emailed and texted Jeff in the last month to get it repaired, since supposedly there's a lifetime warranty, and they don't seem too interested in providing quality customer service. I'll be happy to modify this review once all is repaired. read more

We hired Jeff's Company in 2019 to do a paver job in our backyard. At the beginning, I was optimistic about the project as the work done looked beautiful upon completion. A couple years after the job was done we had some MAJOR shifting in our pavers. Not only are our pavers buckling, but we are having sinking in areas as well. Our air conditioner now is quite literally sinking into the ground. Jeff came out and told us to get our HOA involved as he thought that it was due to tree root issues. We had a meeting with both parties to which Jeff agreed to have his crew dig up the affected areas to see who is at fault. That was 2.5 months ago. Despite my attempts to address these concerns with Jeff , I have not received ANY response. I have called and sent text messages MULTIPLE times a week for 2 months and have had ZERO response. The lack of communication is completely unprofessional. I would highly recommend anyone reading this review to do business with someone else. read more

This review is long overdue, but also glad I waited to post. We did a major backyard and front yard renovation last summer/fall. The project took about 5 months total and had the typical up's and down's of a construction project, but at the end of the project we LOVE how are backyard looks! Jeff is very friendly and great with details. He really knows his stuff. After less than a year, we had a couple areas that needed touch ups and Jeff had the team come back to "make it right". Overall we would recommend Patios by B&B for your patio cover, concrete, built-in kitchen, or landscaping needs (big or small). read more

Want to add photos of my back yard after a recent rain. I was told a lot of the cost of my yard work was for drainage. As you can see, I paid a lot of money for something that isn't working well at all. Before I had this done , I had a swimming pool for over thirty years and never had one problem with my drainage Jeff has contacted me and has someone scheduled to come out and see if there is a blockage. Appreciate his prompt response to this issue. Will update their finding. Jeff to the rescue!! Had a crew here within a day. They resolved blockage within several hours. Rained very hard today and drainage was excellent. Can't thank him enough. Want to add a star to my initial review of several years ago. Very important to me to find that Jeff stands behind his work. read more

We have been considering a patio cover for sometime but it was one of those projects that always got postponed. Finally we decided 2020 would be the year of the patio, well little did we know it would be the year of the pandemic! We decided, we are staying home and our house is our entertainment, so let's go for it. We met with Jeff who patiently explained all of our options and we decided on a lattice cover. The process proceeded with an excellent crew that took all of the necessary precautions (masks, social distancing, etc.) and we had an amazing patio built in a couple days! The cover is beautiful, the workmanship is professional, and we can't wait to enjoy our much cooler outdoor space. read more

Patios by B&B are currently open by Appointment Only. This was a true convenience as we are under construction and they were so accommodating. Jeff, the owner has been very attentive to details and will make additional recommendations to even better your dream back yard. His customer service is spot on and returns calls and texts immediately. I highly recommend that if you are shopping around as my husband and I did, stop and just go directly to them. Great customer service, great quality of products and extra detailed designs for your plan approvals. Patios By B&B handles all city permits and association approvals. This seamless process has reduced my stress tremendously. Jeffs crew are hard working and he brings in the Big Guns/equipment to get the job done efficiently as we know the neighbors love us during construction. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! read more

My husband and I were planning to have new pavers put in our backyard for several months. I found Patios by B&B on Yelp and met with Jeff shortly after to review our project and get a quote. Jeff was patient and informative during our initial meeting and we decided to go with Patios by B&B to complete our project. After we paid our deposit our project was delayed for several weeks because of rain but Jeff kept in contact with us on a regular basis - we never had to wonder what was going on. Jeff was ALWAYS responsive and attentive to our questions. Not only was Jeff great but his team was great, as well. They were always on time, respectful and cleaned the job site after each working day. We have a young baby and a dog and Jeff and the guys were always respectful of knocking on the door or making lots of noise during nap time - it may seem like a small thing but it was huge to me! You just don't get that with most construction companies. The finished product in our backyard looks amazing and we cannot thank Jeff and his team enough. The project turned out exactly like we wanted it to and the price was so competitive. All of our neighbors have asked us who we used because they can't believe the great work we got for such an amazing price. I would highly recommend Patios by B&B for your outdoor project! read more

Just finished building a new home in San Clemente and we needed a cover over our outdoor kitchen. Called a few local company's and got bids. B & B bid the job as well. Paul who is the owner of B&B came out and gave me the bid which was priced in the middle but seemed much more professional and knowledgeable. We decided to go with B&B and now that the cover is completed we are very happy we did so. They were on time everyday and the job was finished ahead of time. Paul couldn't have been nicer or more professional. His crew was great and very friendly. You can't go wrong with B&B. Thanks Paul. read more

.I loved that a supervisor was often directing the installers. The installers did not have to guess about what they were doing next. . .I love that they were neat and clean. They covered the spa, the pavers, and the windows before they started disassembling our old patio cover. They also did not leave trash in the yard or in the spa when they were finished, the yard looked great. .I loved that they went out of their way to please us. I was unhappy with the lights that we bought for them to install. I didn't notice that the color did not go with the patio until after they had finished installing them. They took our lights down and brought, new, perfect lights the next day, for no extra cost. We would definitely use them again, and we would definitely recommend them for others. My experience with Patios By B&B was dreadfully poor. There have been multiple failures with their patio cover installation at my property. Attempts are resolving those defects were met with resistance at first, then hostility. It took over 5 months to advance a fabric warranty claim. Even after that, they chose to walk away from actually resolving the issue in full. I would encourage anyone considering working with them to look elsewhere. read more

This review has been a long time coming. My first good experience with Patios By B&B was the fixture of my patio posts. I was happy with their work, so I asked Jeff if his team could replace my outdoor drain since it was clogged with tree roots. Some time had passed (maybe a couple of weeks) until I called Jeff to see if he could schedule his team to come and repair my outdoor drain. I called him on a Friday morning, and his team came in the next morning where they completed the project in just two days. We just got our patio structure installed in the timely manner the Jeff quoted. He knew his product and never pushed us to do anything beyond our comfort level. I LOVE no pressure sales. Once we made our decision, he was right on it. The structure was finished today, during the pandemic, and done very well. We even had a change at the last minute and the installer adjusted with us to make it EXACTLY what we wanted. Thank you, also for cleaning up each day. We could not have been more impressed with the process from start to finish. The level of professionalism and expertise were off the charts. I'd give 6 stars if I could. We visited their showroom to view the patio cover options. Then made an appointment for Jeff to come to our house. I do construction management for a living, often with difficult contractors. Jeff was great to work with. He communicates well by phone, text, email and in person. He helped design the patio paver layout and patio cover. He suggested more cost effective pavers (Orco and Angelus) and how to use them so the patio would look nice. Jeff offered ideas how to save money on he design and delivered several sample pavers so we could decide which to select. His price was fair. We had 3 change orders that I initiated: I had Paulino add a light switch, Jesus add the irrigation system, and we relocated a gas line to the existing BBQ so it met code. Demo went quickly (2 days). The pavers were done by Gabriel's crew and every cut came out perfectly. They took their time to see it was as my wife wanted. One join point wasn't what she expected and the guys changed it the next day. There were a couple of items that needed to be addressed (the new gas line leaked after the pavers were done) and Jeff had the plumber out quickly to repair it and his crews to reset the pavers, all at no charge. They patched all the stucco (even the pre-existing areas that didn't look so good) and repainted the walls (they bought the expensive Dunn Edwards paint I used on the house so it all matched). Paulino installed 3 lights on the patio cover they all work well. Jeff gave me advice on where to buy the lights and where to get the fountain at reasonable costs. On the final walk through I pointed out one sprinkler had a leak. Jeff texted a photo and within an hour Jesus ("No problem, sir.") was there to fix it. All of the crews from B&B were polite, skilled and conscientious. They cleaned up each day. The existing wires for the sprinklers and landscape lights were protected. I recommend using Patios by B&B for your project. read more

Patios By B&B installed a $6K patio cover at my home. The installation crew was excellent and the completed job appears to be excellent and we could not be happier about our decision to install the patio cover. During the City's final inspection a procedural issue arose but the business owner, Jeffrey, has taken the time to explain current inspection procedures and I can see that the business is employing best practices. So for me, choosing Patios By B&B for this job has been a win-win for both substance and procedure! read more

We could not be happier with our new Elitewood Ultra patio cover, designed and installed by Patios by B & B. Since we didn't know what was possible to do with aluminum covers, we are grateful that Jeffrey listened to what we asked for, and then pointed out some different ideas that really took it to the next level. Specifically, he pointed out that we didn't need a middle column, since they can span nearly 30 feet (we thought we'd need 3 columns). That opened up our view so much that the patio feels so completely open, with a near unobstructed view of the yard. We knew we wanted a square column instead of the usual aluminum supports. He pointed out an option we weren't aware of: They could hide the rain down-spouts inside the column, dumping into the underground drains: Check out the photo. This makes the installation beautiful and clean. He also showed the option of adding one more header (see the same photo from above), so that there was no space for birds to nest in between the inner and outer headers. Sure these options cost a little more, but they added so much to the aesthetic, that everyone who has seen it has been blown away by how awesome and well-built it looks. The installation crews were on-time, clean, professional and diligent. I don't think our experience could have been better. read more

Our neighbor used these guys for their pavers and driveway. They said "he was ok", so I requested a quote for a small project. He was rather condescending, and his quote was more than triple the other 4 bids that I received. I doubt that he pays his workers 4X what everyone else pays. Needless to say, he obviously didn't get the job! My job turned out great, and they will be returning for all of our hardscape and driveway in a couple of months. I'm a believer in that you get what you pay for, But our neighbors that used these guys now have sinking pavers and several cracks in their concrete. Hopefully, Mr. Goldman will fix this for them. read more
