Patio Vera may be one of the most Instagramable restaurants I have ever been to my whole life. The place just screams for someone to take a photo or two or 10 of its interiors. Even if you're not a millennial who has the need to take a photo of every single hipster thing you see, I'm pretty sure you won't be able to resist whipping out your phone and taking a few snaps.
The place is divided into sections. Upon entering, you will first see their lanai area with a huge wooden table in the middle and two long benches with big colourful pillows. There are also metal chairs and tables on the side, surrounded by big plants and greens. There is a tent-like curtain hanging over the lanai area just in case it rains. On the side, you will see their café area wherein there are more wooden tables and chairs. Patio Vera also has an indoor, air-conditioned room that groups usually rent to hold parties or small events at.
But Patio Vera isn't only a restaurant, as I believe they also sell furniture, art decors and the like. Inside the house (Patio Vera is one of those restored houses-turned-restaurants), you will see a bunch of antique fixtures and huge vases and other art decorations you can display at your own homes. I'll have to admit that I personally am not a fan of their stuff as I like my things modern and classy, but if you're a big antique person, then you'll definitely appreciate their pieces.
Should you swing by, I suggest you try out Patio Vera's Gambas Al Ajillo and Paella Valenciana. Both are absolutely exquisite, I promise. Also, their coffee is also really delicious. I think I ordered two cups in one sitting! read more
