I'm not sure how to start this review as I don't want to rant all the way to the end. Let's start off with what I remember was positive. If you're looking for a nice view at night and an intimate setting, say for a candlelit dinner, I would say go here. And that's all I can say really. I held an event there twice--and my second one would be the last.
My worst nightmare as an event organizer was brought to life: poor ventilation, poor lighting, poor customer service. Not to mention the grave mishandling of our important concerns by their incompetent marketing and operations staff before, during, and after our event. There was no sense of urgency on their end nor did they show any sign of remorse for their mistakes--until I dropped the bomb that my client wasn't willing to pay the balance (THE EXPERIENCE WAS THAT BAD). The only senior person who talked to us was the chef who immediately leaped into action to bring blowers to the venue because it was so hot--our media and clients were sweating buckets--although quite late. Thank God our guests were good-natured people, because if not, it would've probably ruined our reputation. Oh, and the food provided no consolation. Only the iced tea made me smile.
I really hope they've learned their mistakes. Even so, I'm not thinking of going there for the next 5 years, and I'll make sure none of my company's clients and my friends in the industry would even think of holding an event there. I'll probably try it again if they change their management. I think it all boils down to that. read more
