Creekside Coverings did an awesome job on our Pergola and outdoor kitchen. We couldn't be happier…read more They did the work, kept the area super cleaned up each evening and finished in just 3 days. The kitchen area is perfect and the covering over half the pergola will be super helpful in the rain and snow with our dogs. I don't think a more professional job could even be possible. Shawn and his team did great work and I'd recommend them to anyone looking to bring a vacation space to their back yard!!

Mostly good, but several workmanship issues…read more Creekside Coverings recently completed our outdoor stair reconfiguration project, transforming our straight stairway into a more functional design with a landing and a 90-degree turn onto a paver patio. While the team finished on schedule, the final result revealed some craftsmanship challenges. The project's core functionality meets our expectations. However, in our opinion, certain details fall short of what we would consider more commonly-used construction practices. Key observations follow. 1. The deck planks on the landing are installed parallel to the support joists. This necessitated the addition of blocking between the joists. The blocking was added after the deck planks were secured to the landing frame. In addition, the decking appears to be fastened only to the landing's frame, without direct attachment to the joists or blocking. 2. The newly-constructed landing appears to have been designed without sufficient attention to detail, in our opinion. The shape of the landing necessitated the placement of an additional railing post adjacent to an existing post on the landing to properly secure the bottom section staircase railing. 3. The two new posts on the new landing are slightly different in size than the original posts, and their caps do not match the existing post caps. The contractor mentioned these items to us after they were already installed on the stairway, and he told us that they would not affect functionality. With attention to the observations above, this would easily be a five star project.

Champion Windows: 4.5 Months of Delays, Zero Communication, and Defective Product…read moreDo not use Champion Windows. Our experience with a $14,000, two-panel patio door purchase has been an absolute nightmare, defined by egregious delays, complete lack of professionalism, and substandard product quality. We placed our order on June 11th. It took four and a half months (until October 27th) to receive just one of the two doors, and the project remains incomplete. Communication is non-existent. The nightmare began in August when the install manager himself noted our initial "rush" order doors were horribly scratched and unfit for installation. Despite being promised a new rush order, my follow-up calls on August 25th, September 4th, and September 12th were all met with zero returned calls. Two months later, we finally received a call to schedule installation. The installer arrived only to deliver more bad news: he only brought ONE door. More critically, the single installed door is already defective: The lock does not connect--a basic safety function that was clearly not checked by the installer. The door panel has multiple visible scratches on the exterior. The exterior door handle is the wrong color (white on an almond door), which is unacceptable for a custom order at this price point. Champion has demonstrated a profound disrespect for the customer's time and money. They delivered a defective, incomplete, and non-functional product months late after ghosting us for weeks. We are demanding a complete and immediate resolution, including waiving the final balance for the immense trouble caused. Save yourself the stress and choose another company.

Took my $5,100, 4 months later no doors, no answers--just lies…read more In April 2025, I paid a $5,100 deposit (25%) for three sets of large patio doors. By June, I called to ask about the installation date--they said the doors were not yet in production but would be ready for an August install. By late July, I called again--still not in production. After that, they ghosted me completely--no replies to five emails and six voicemails pleading for an update. I finally showed up at their Lewis Center, OH office, where I was met with lies and zero accountability. They took my money and never gave a satisfactory explanation. I had to threaten legal action to get a refund, and even then, obtaining a refund receipt was like pulling teeth.
