He came from a family owned private daycare with only 10 kids and had to adjust to a larger group of kids and more disciplined schedule in Sunshine. He was in Luyda, Elena and Ms. Amanda's groups. All of them very very helpful during the transition period and after. He is definitely your free spirit kid and can be challenging, so it was very nice to get some advice from the teachers of how to route him to the "right way"/manage bad behavior. All was done in a friendly manner and was much appreciated, I truly felt that the teachers cared and wanted to help! The owner of the school Marina was extremely welcoming and helpful during our move, we are so grateful for all the advice and encouragement we got! It's difficult to explain, but you just have this great feeling walking in every day and saying hello :) It seems that Marina and her staff created this friendly environment where they enjoy each other company, kids and what they are doing. Not knowing much about Montessori when we enrolled, we learned that the Montessori approach allowed our son to learn at his own pace building his self-confidence. The approach to learning language and math introduce concepts using sensorial materials that build on top of each other. Our son is now reading and does basic addition/subtraction all before the age of 5. We also like the balance that the school strikes between education and free play and how invested the teachers are in the development of the kids. Consistency is important when they're that young. In the beginning, it might take a little bit of adjusting because their system isn't streamlined like other daycares. So communication can be a bit slow, but if you're patient with them, you won't regret it because the things that matter and are important are there. They keep your child safe so you don't have to worry about their well-being and they make sure every student thrives. You have peace of mind while you're working or busy throughout the day. And you know your child is getting lots of attention because the class sizes aren't as big as some others that have up to 18 kids or more in one classroom. I'm very thankful to them and I highly recommend this Montessori!

It makes it SO much easier leaving her with Ms. Martha and Ms. Vicki knowing they love her like their own! She is "their baby girl"! We live in Anna, TX, work in McKinney and drive to Allen just so our daughter can attend here! THAT IS HOW MUCH WE LOOOOVE THIS LOCATION!!! Even when COVID hit, Shannan, Andrew and their staff have done an amazing job at keeping things as normal as possible all while implementing guidelines and policies that have truly made us feel so safe when entering the building, and leaving our daughter in their care.
