IF you had read the contract YOU SIGHNED, prior to consigning your items, you would have KNOWN that after 90 days, if said items were not sold, they would be DONATED, therefore no phone call was needed. You OBVIOUSLY did not read the contract you signed. Also, when consigning said items whomever you spoke with would have ALSO informed you of this. This business was made better by the couple who bought it. They brought in beautiful furniture, and made the business far more appealing to anyone who came there. The owners were fair, honest people. Who DID NOT cheat you or whatever you think they did. This mistake is on you and your ignorance!

I have visited this business many times in the past to browse and was impressed by the nice, high…read moreend furniture they would have in on occasion. When I downsized recently to a smaller home, I thought this place would be a great way to recoup some of the money I had put into some very expensive furniture. To get to the point in the shortest form possible, if you go to look that's one thing but if you're placing items to sell here, you should think twice. I brought 4 very high end pieces here to be sold and checked on them every two to three weeks. My furniture was "donated" to Habitat without a single phone call to me. I had been very regular about checking every two to three weeks but in hindsight should have checked on a daily basis but I'm not sure that would have been sufficient. When I questioned them as to why I never received a phone call that my items were about to be donated I was informed by the gentleman that they had too many clients to call with every single donation. They are never busy when I'm in there so exactly how many clients he was referring to is unclear to me. I never noticed any rush in there and the most I ever saw in there was 2 or 3 people at a time. My message is that if you wish to donate your expensive furniture and donate it to the place of your choice, bypass this place. I won't be going back to this place ever again.
