The office staff seems committed to offering the best customer experience. I can tell they succeed at that. No issue with them. My concern relates to time spent as a new patient. I spent 25' max. with Dr. Alana Villada. I spent 25' in a direct personal exchange between me, the patient, and the said Dr. I received a bill of $308.10. I checked with my insurance. I was billed under code 99204 (New patient office visit, 45-59 minutes). I reached out to the billing team and they sent me back to the office manager. The office manager stated that any work conducted by the Physician via the portal (like uploading and posting a comment about a lab result) can be minutes aggregated to the initial visit face-to-face. I am in disagreement since I interacted with the doctor only 25'. Any work done after the face-to-face visit culminated (asynchronously, not demanding a patient's response or physical examination, online, etc.) cannot be considered an in-person visit with a licensed professional or be billed under the same care or service provided. Please, see my invoice.

I wasn't even given an answer or a heads up that a question about my physical health during a physical exam would be billed separately I wasn't even looked in the eye when she said she would order additional labs to make sure it wasn't an autoimmune disorder. 30 seconds for a question I wasn't aware didn't fall within the category of my annual exam and $140 later I'm still wondering how health professionals have gone this far downhill. They don't care about our well being, they only care about how many charges they can unknowingly bill us for until we've had enough.

She asked several times if others have failed to make her feel better, however it's never been an issue. After failing 4 times and becoming stimulated, I requested to allow an office who is capable of completing the insertion. Watching her insert the needle, she was trying to explain how she couldn't do it, while the whole time the bevel wasn't even inserted. She denied me my $140 deductible back of no work being done, followed by "you're a horrible daughter" "I'd hate to be your mom" "you're embarrassing" and many more aggressive statements because of her anger on failed attempts. She was at the desk, laughing. The Dr stood there the whole time with no concern. I left out with sore, bruised arms. I will never be back at such a place! I felt very intimidated by the ginger who walked behind me while I was trying to leave. I should've allowed the 2.5 stars on here to be my warning. No wonder why it was so empty in the lobby!

On the day of the visit, they refused to accept insurance. There was no empathy for the fact that I called them earlier, and I was told otherwise. I contacted my insurance agent, who tried to tell them that it is not ethical to refuse a patient when they have chosen to be part of the preferred network. But that was of no avail. I ended up paying the entire visit fee. I warn others to think twice before considering this clinic.

FNP Dena Patel is a very good and detail-oriented physician. This review is about the low quality…read moreof the support staff. Don't try and make an appointment by phone, the staff cannot understand english and will make an appointment when they want and not what you request. Also if you are prescribed a prescription triple check where they are sending your prescription. The staff does not follow your stated choice in your medical record that were confirmed during your visit. They send it to whatever service they choose, and it will take 3-4 call to solve the issue. (not many people answering the phone understand English). What funny is they send you a survey about your visit and there is no questions or areas to comment on the nursing support staff. It shows there are no standards for the nurses there.

I scheduled my appointment with Dr. Schutte, especially, in July. Yesterday, I discovered that my appointment had been changed to a PA without notifying me. When I contacted the office, they told me I was supposed to have been notified and that Dr. Schutte's next appointment was in January. Had I been notified that her schedule had changed, I would have considered this but to be changed to a PA that I have never heard of without letting me know is something that I cannot tolerate. This is not the first time this has happened to someone I know. Bottom line, Dr. Schutte is good. The clinic she works in is awful. Looking for a new doctor.
