To make matters even more infuriating, my elderly mother who was just trying to help separate our groceries had a plastic divider thrown at her by the cashier, who barked, "If you aren't paying for the other customer's groceries, you need to put that down." Excuse me?? Who talks to anyone, let alone a senior, like that? The entire transaction was hostile, uncomfortable, and humiliating. I was shaken, my daughter was upset, and it was clear this employee had no interest in basic decency or customer service. To top it all off and I wish this was an exaggeration multiple items in the produce section had visible MOLD. I originally wasn't going to say anything I was just going to assume maybe it was a bad time to shop and they just maybe didn't change things over but I started looking around and wondering, how many others have been mistreated...It feels like this place is completely falling apart in so many ways. We used to know this store so well I could list off prices without looking. But I'll gladly save myself the extra out of the way 15-minute drive now and head to Super G Mart where there's better variety, better prices, respectful staff, and an amazing bakery and hot food section. I never jumped up so fast and got dressed and headed out the door before in my life. Okay, I did pause to call the store and make sure they were open and it was indeed a real place. And sure enough, they were open - so off I went. This store is in a small parking lot but easy to find. Sometimes they have their store van parked in the parking lot which makes it even easier to spot from the road. The store is only 3 aisles with a back room and 4 freezers full of authentic and delicious Filipino brands but you will not be disappointed. They carry all things Goldilock brands. They even had some Filipino items that I had never been able to find before. The owners are nice and friendly - always asking if I found everything I was looking for. The store is very clean and very well organized. They also offer deliveries and you can get more information on this on their Facebook page. It looks like they break up their delivery schedules by area. You can also call in your order and they will shop for you and you can just pick up for curbside delivery. They also do a pretty good job of updating their inventory on Facebook if you are looking for something specific. I love that I can now go to one store for all things Pinoy and get what I need.
