We came during the week around midday, so parking was easy to find, but if you're coming on a weekend or in the evening, I'd recommend arriving early since parking is limited. Our instructor, Sage, was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through the entire pottery-making process and making it feel approachable even for beginners. We made two pieces total--one hand-built and one thrown on the wheel--which was really fun and exciting to try. The whole experience was creative, relaxing, and unique. I would definitely recommend this class and will be suggesting it to friends and family!

We took the one-time pottery class and it's nearly impossible to get ahold of them. After your class you're supposed to get an email a few weeks later to schedule glazing. I never got the email, had to reach out twice to get any contact. Then after glazing you're supposed to get another email to pick up your pieces. Guess what, I never got it and had to reach out again. Overall it took us over 3 months from the first class to get our pieces. It's a great concept and fun but would not recommend this business to anyone.

Everyone had so much fun painting their own pottery, and it was a unique and memorable party activity. The studio was clean, well-organized, and the party ran smoothly from start to finish. My daughter and her friends loved it, and the finished pieces will be a special keepsake from the celebration.

When we arrived, they told me there is also a mandatory 18% gratuity. First, that is legally supposed to be disclosed clearly and in advance which it was not. The kids picked out their paint colors and then we found out that your location was out of (six) different colors that they wanted and they had to settle for less appealing options. The attendants were slow to replenish the paint and acted like it was an inconvenience, even though they were getting a "mandatory gratuity". They could have been nicer and more friendly. One of the colors they "replenished" was not the same color as we got at the beginning even though we asked for the same color # and the attendant even checked the # to make sure, and one of the kids ending up having two different colors of paint in one section of her ceramic piece that she was really disappointed about. When we asked the attendant how we could fix it, she said she didn't know and literally walked away mid-conversation to help someone else. She clearly did not care about our party once we sat down. My bill was almost $300 and the mandatory gratuity was $49.32 which was absolutely not worth the service we got. I doubt we would come back to your store since we never had this issue at Color Me Mine.

Like one vendor selling stuff that she bought from a flea market or a thrift shop. I mean that takes no skill to do. Then marking up the price. I mean I have eBay for that. I did end up buying a few things from her. Some handmade head bands that I keep getting compliments on! There as one vendor who made some really great jewelry some of which she used the little Matyroshka's. Melissa from http://www.etsy.com/profile.php?user_id=52248. Check her store out on Etsy! Anyhoot. These craft fairs are fun. Love how creative people can get sans the selling used stuff that does not include anything but the item itself. Prices are reasonable. Get ready for the Patchwork Show in Santa Ana Nov. 15.... There was tons of stuff. Some vendors selling infant and children's clothing and accessories. Whodini hand bags and wallets, Genny penny and her awesome recreations of vintage jewelry.. TONS and TONS of stuff which will get ones creative crafty mind spinning. Everything from handbags, clothing for everyone, hair pins and accessories, shoes, jewelry cute baby stuff the list goes on... In general you should make it out to the next show!! http://www.handmadebrigadeofoc.com/index.html
