When we went we went after most shops were closed. Pulling in, it is clearly marked that it's all different shops, but we missed it and spotted it on the way out, needless to say it was a long day! The area is beautiful with stunning views, easy parking, and great signage. Each store has a building with clear signs, cash register counters. We were welcomed and invited into the stores that were open during our visit. My favorite area was the succulents, as a succulent collector I obviously was drawn here. I'd like to make special note of the love and care for the plants. Often times when purchasing plants they are not thriving, they are hanging on for dear life or are semi healthy. All plants in all shops were EXTREMELY healthy! The humidity was ever so present in the store with the house plants, the dryness was very present in the area with the succulents, the lighting was good and the plants were lush, not stretchy, and were properly placed for sunning. I did not pay attention in the other stores but did notice that the succulent store also listed their plants as toxic if there was toxins in them harmful to children or pets! read more

IMHO This was my first visit to a Half Moon Bay pumpkin patch w/activities. Our visit was on a weekday and we arrived around 10:30ish. We were able to secure a parking space in the last row, thankfully. Already Pastorino's was bustling with families and young children, eager to partake in the many activities like the train ride, big slide or was it a bouncy house?, hayride, etc. We were grateful for the no-admission fee, but you do pay for the rides, food, etc. Since we didn't ride anything, I have no idea of their cost. My friend and I took advantage of the many photo ops around the property. There is a delightful gift shop that even carried the coveted Labubus, amidst all of their Halloween inspired gifts. Pastorino's is beautifully and whimsically decorated for Halloween. I'm sure you'll find it charming, even if you're without children. read more

This is not just a pumpkin farm, there were many things to do here. Parking is easy, big parking lot. Staffs are friendly, no entrance fee. There are hay ride, bouncy house, petting zoo, little train ride, tiny cafe and a lovely gift shop with the Halloween decor. It's a huge farm, not too crowded, we able to walk around, taking great photos and we had a great time there. read more

No frills pumpkin patch. If you're looking to stop by somewhere to take some quick pictures and buy some pumpkins, this your place. No entrance fee like the larger pumpkin patches. Pumpkins were decently priced. Some places to take a couple of pictures and a small store with a variety or decor and knick knacks. The young man working at the shop didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. (Asked me what size I thought my pumpkin was so he could price it lol). If you're looking to spend quite some time at a pumpkin patch, I'd suggest going elsewhere. But for what it's worth, it ain't too bad. read more

Decent sized pumpkin patch/farm with free entry! We did pay the small fee to ride their train which was a short 6min ride through some decorated greenhouses. It was simple and enjoyable. We purchased tickets in the main office and service was quick and easy. They offer many other selections and attractions including bounce houses and pony/donkey rides. I saw a sign for hay rides but didn't see it active when we were there. read more

We went to Pastorinos to try to get away from the heat in the East bay on Sunday but it was just as hot at 10:30am. Driving to HMB from the east bay wasn't bad until you got off the 92 and then it merges to one lane and the traffic slows down. It's right across the street from Lemos. Plenty of parking and free entrance but it's cash only so be prepared. Not too many unique pumpkins. The rides and bouncy houses can be what gets you. For one hour in the bouncy house it's a $15 wristband. We didn't get chance to check out the haunted house section since it was so hot we took we few pictures and left. Cozzolino's pumpkin was right next to Pastorinos so it can be confusing because they have just pumpkins but looks like they had a little more variety compared to Pastorinos. Overall I thought it was alright if you just want to capture a few pictures for memories there's a few cute options. But pumpkin wise nothing to write home about. read more

Came on a Friday afternoon. Large parking lot. Not crowded, little shade. Cute train ride ($6), jumping houses, gift shop, small petting zoo, and 2 (sad looking) ponies. You can walk to their green house. My toddler enjoyed the ride from the I-280 to the pumpkin patch as well! read more

3.5 Stars We went to pastorino's 2 years ago for the first time and returned this year after doing Lemos last year. The ticket system is inefficient and way too expensive especially if you have kids over 2. The price break down for two adults, a 3yo and a 1yo made 90 dollars for tickets and a wristband for the inflatables area. We rode the train twice, did the petting zoo and pony ride one time each, one hay ride and one wristband for inflatable area for one hour. Our 1yo was not included in any of the tickets but I kept thinking how expensive it would be if he was! Plenty of opportunities for photo ops and they had a nice section of interesting and multi-colored pumpkins. Our 3yo enjoyed the inflatable section and it wasn't too difficult for him to navigate on his own even with bigger kids. The food wasn't great-hot dogs and pretzels and pie. Grab a drink or snack at the snack bar but we ended up eating lunch in downtown HMB (San Benito House is delicious and kid friendly and less than 10 min drive away). Would be great if they had more areas of shade on particularly hot days. We got there early (before 10) and it was really hot and hard to find places to sit for respite with the kiddos. One really terrible experience was with the balloon lady-seriously awful. She had an area with bubble solution and bubble wands by the trains sort of set apart from her balloon area. It was not clearly marked that it was for kids who bought balloons. Several kids were playing including our 1 yo and she came over and literally grabbed the wands out of their hands. Our 1yo of course started screaming crying and after being embarrassed by the stares from mortified parents she gave him back a wand and said "I can't make a baby cry." What an odd thing to do to a baby no less! anyhow, all of the other staff were wonderful except this woman. The young men running the ponies and petting zoo were especially great with kids! Not sure if we'll go again. I like that it's family owned and seems less Disney-fied than Lemos but pricing structure and ticket system would be greatly improved with wristbands. The cost might actually be the same or more than Lemos but not having to count out tickets for everything would be nice. read more

A fantastic place!! I ordered flowers from Scott to be delivered to El Granada and it was easy and efficient....the flowers were delivered on time and the recipient LOVED them. Honestly, the most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen. My cousin was thrilled!! Pastorinos has been in Half Moon Bay for years, and I will certainly order from them again. You will be so very pleased! You can tell they take pride in what they do. THANKS again to a wonderful florist. THE PRICE was right too. read more

They are not completely set up for Halloween, but is still a great time. You may wanna hit it up now and early, to beat the crowds. Cute pumpkin patch with free admission and free parking. Come early as traffic gets bad by mid-morning and the parking lot fills up. There are lots of fun things to do including a petting zoo ($8), pony rides ($12), tractor and train rides ($5). We did the train ride which exceeded expectations as it took you through a cute "haunted house" and a plant nursery that was decorated with Halloween decorations. The kids loved it! read more

I came here for the first time recently to take my daughter with friends to the pumpkin patch here. She had a blast with her offerings. They had some activities which I would say is mostly great for kids under 10 like a train ride and petting zoo. They also had a hayride, pony ride and bouncy house. There were pumpkins galore everywhere. I will say the more pristine pumpkins were inside the barn house. The place is a bit pricey for the pumpkins but the rides compared to a regular store but hey you gotta support local and the attractions were reasonable prices. I would totally come back. It's definitely a great place for the littles. read more

I went here to take my daughter to pumpkin patch. And I loved it.Her school organized this event. And the patch was amazing. Inflatable amusements , 2 haunted house , pony ride , train ride and super tasty pumpkin breads and beautiful decoration. Lots of space and not expensive ( pony ride was $10 I guess, train ride $5 ) it was worth it. If you are looking for a patch to take your kids - go check it out. This is a cute farm and its nice that it is free to walk around but they are a bit pricy on the ticketed items. They had three sad bouncy houses, one of which was sort of deflated and all three were covered in dirt and dust. That cost $15 dollars per child for an hour. There is a bouncy house near me that has way more slides and play spaces that is about the same price. I was somewhat disappointed in the length of the pony ride. It cost $12 dollars and we were barely on the horse for 3 minutes. There was no line (it was a Monday at 230 pm, place was empty) and the woman leading the horse stopped a few times to deal with the petting zoo and to clean up horse poop- while my son just sat there wanting to move. I think we should have gotten at least 5 minutes or so of riding time. I am sure I will go back again but the ticketed items are not worth what you get. read more

Their Pumpkin patch was perfect for a toddler or small child. Just enough pumpkins to feel like you're at a real patch and plenty to do. Take my advise and skip the hayride. It takes you around the parking lot you enter from. Take the train if you want a little ride. If not, you can walk in all the places the train goes. I like that you don't have to pay for parking and that the pumpkins are actually reasonably priced. Employees were really REALLY nice. Like they got a pep talk and were trying their best. Because of the set up, this patch is accessible to all families. They don't charge you to see it. They can be like their neighbors and charge and people would pay, so I'm assuming it's intentional. I appreciate that. It's super quaint. Just go and spend your money there. Support this business model. It will be our annual Halloween outing for our family from now on and it feels good to support them. read more

Cute little place with all the offerings of Lemos with the overpriced, oversold experience. Petting zoo had a pig, goats, ducks, and bunnies. They have train and hay rides, bounce houses, a pumpkin patch, and pony rides. While the price of tickets can add up, it is still cheaper than Lemos and much easier to access/enjoy. The staff was great and parking was easy. read more

We just celebrated my daughter's 3rd birthday at Pastorino's. For a flat fee, we had a bouncy house, petting zoo, pony ride, train and hay rides for all of our guests (36 kids). They also have a huge party room to serve lunch/cake. This is a great deal compared to some of the nearby competitors. I had 70+ people attending, including the adults. There was plenty of space for everyone and it was so nice having all the activities included. I also found it much easier than hosting a party at the park. Scott and team were very accommodating! They have the room setup already and decorated in a very cute farm theme, with table clothes, etc. They also take care of the trash. Many of my guests raved about the amazing party we hosted! We will definitely return. read more

Here for the pumpkin patch. There is no entrance fee, and parking is fairly easy given the COVID-19 situation. Several attractions await you at Pastorinos. For $3 a person you can participate in the tractor ride. The tractor will take you all around the pumpkin patch and make a few stops to take pictures. If you decide to just walk around many areas are suitable for child or family photos. In the barn there is an extensive gift shop, and right behind it many small stands for food. Great pumpkin patch for the price. read more

They delivered a gorgeous bouquet just now. Very lovely and smells wonderful. Very tastefully put together and really just lovely.

Pastorinos is a family run business on various kinds of plants and landscape supplies. They are located on the roadside of Highway 92. It's along stretch of nurseries of various kinds of plants, a landscape supply and also a small theme park for kids. A definite stop over when you are in the area. Take heed tho coz looking for the restroom requires footwork cause its on both ends of the long strip of shops. read more

We came to Pastorinos for some Fall fun -- pumpkin picking! There was SO much going on and so many areas to explore, indoors and outside. Pumpkins of every kind line the property and go on seemingly forever, there were piglets and goats, llamas and donkeys, and a little food stand where you could buy cheesecake, corndogs or a coffee or Coca Cola. Parking was a nightmare, as was getting there. (Highway 92. 'nough said...) But, it was very pretty. My biggest heartbreak was that I found out my camera was dead on the drive down and, seeing how pretty the place actually was, I was dying the whole time there. It's the PERFECT place for fall photos! I'll have to come back next year...if I can forget about the horrific journey there. read more

It didn't look as crazy crowded here as Lemos next door, so we decided to stop by here last year, during a weekend, for a cute photo op at their seasonal October pumpkin patch with our baby. Lemos appears to be a better spot for toddlers/older children, so consider bringing your infant to Pastorino instead since the environment is less chaotic. Here, I really liked how the pumpkins were arranged and I admired the wide variety of pumpkin sizes. They also had a section of unique squashes for cooking and baking. They also offer hay and train rides, the opportunity to pet and feed farm animals, slides and jumpers. Not bad-- + Haunted house and face painting on weekends + Gift barn and food on-site + Pony parties + Celebrate your kids' birthdays at the farm read more

We had a lovely birthday celebration here. The kids had a fabulous time on the ponies, hayride, and train. The staff is attentive in having your party goers ride the train and hayride as well as the ponies. Staff was polite and welcoming. Really bummed to write this but we had a bad experience today. Inside the barn is overly packed with items for sale. Just too much stuff including breakable items at a small child's level. In line for tickets in the front of the register where many ppl are crammed there's a large round table with 25-30 delicate glass bottles filled with flowers and glitter, again at a child's level. Every child nearby was grabbing and of course a little girl knocked some small bottles to the floor and they shattered. I suggested to the cashier that table full of glass at child level probably shouldn't be there in that spot, she was defensive. I then asked for one bracelet for my kid to access the bounce houses. $15. She hands me the cc paper to sign and she's charged my card $100. I asked if the cash register was connected to the cc machine and she said no, she manually entered it. Wow. OK. The second cashier piped in and said "it happens a lot." And today it's extra busy. So they refunded me $85 and they were upset bc I was upset, saying it's such an easy fix why are you mad about it. No apology. The bounce house area was chaos. Lots of older kids trampling the younger kids. No staffing there at all. Kids were getting hurt left and right. One mom was so angry this very tall 13 yr old boy was running over small children, she grabbed him and starts yelling who is your mom?! So, long story short we won't be back which is too back bc it's a cute spot. read more

Review #210 - 2016 Since we were right across the street at Lemos Farm, we decided to walk over to check out this little spot as well. They have a timed crosswalk where you can cross every 15 minutes, which seems like forever when you're just staring at cars passing by. Hahaha Thank goodness we decided to park over at Lemos Farm because parking at this place is $10. Crazy! I stopped at the beef jerky stand out front and bought my son 2 bags of spicy beef jerky. You can buy one for $12 or two for $20. They have quite an interesting selection of meat: beef, elk, venison...even alligator! I played it safe and just stuck to the beef jerky. They have a wide selection of pumpkins as well, but we didn't buy any. Although, I did take some pictures with them. This place doesn't have much to do compared to Lemos Farm so I'm not sure why they charge you so much for parking. read more

Have you ever been out this way in mid to late October? Tons of people pack the kids in the family wagon and head out to the coast for some hot pumpkin patch action. Seriously, this place and the pumpkin patch across the road are single-handedly responsible for the traffic jam you'll face on HWY 92 getting out to Half Moon Bay. Still though, something about Halloween and pumpkin patches bring out the kid in me and I fully enjoyed myself once I fought my way though the crowds. Big pumpkins, little pumpkins, round pumpkins, green pumpkins, gourds and a great selection of all things squash-like are to be found here. There are hay rides and a haunted house and even a catering truck that sells an odd selection of Greek and Mexican food. They also serve up a tasty slice of pumpkin pie with whipped cream for three bucks. I love the fall. read more
