Nice brewery! We tried three on our weekend trip. This one had my favorite beers of the three, plus a decent food menu. We wanted to hold off on a full meal so only ordered a salad and a pretzel. The pretzel was great and came with a delicious deli mustard (you can opt for a cheese sauce instead). The beers were all solid with the sour saison being a standout. Delicious beer and even more delicious food. Tim served us and his sense of humor made our experience that much more enjoyable. I ordered pulled pork nachos and my husband ordered the past time burger. The nachos were such a large portion my husband had to help me out! The facilities were very clean and well maintained. Super chill vibe....cleary an old brick building that has been properly preserved, enhanced for aesthetics, and reinforced for safety. My wife loves a good tequila, soda, and lime drink....didnt think we'd get it there so she order a nice glass of wine...I notice the bottles behind the fanbcy oranate wood bar and liteally ran up to ask them to change her drink order. Scare the crap out of her, but she was so cool....and gave her an Awesome drink....I'm a craft brewer myself and an IPA snob...their Witch Bitch IPA is incredibly good. Lightly malt, light SRM, with copious citrus hops....a thoroughly drinkable West Coast IPA. I left with a big 32 oz can to go home with. Who knew? Who knew Oroville would have such a nice, modern restaurant with great food. The outside is quite boring and honestly, quite unmemorable where you just drive by which I did for many years. My bad. The inside is clean and open and welcoming. They offer various types of apps, sandwiches and full meals. The bar has both tap and bottled beer. They even have a pool table on the other side of the restaurant. I will, no doubt, be back many times when I visit that area. read more

From the first time I went into this place, I was made to feel like family. Ask Tyson to make you his famous fresh squeezed orange juice margarita. Prime rib night on Fridays is a big hit, but get there early because it sells out. I also really liked the elk and bison burgers. Oh, and excellent beers! This is a small town gem. read more

As soon as you walk in here, it's like, "Am I still in Oroville?" Pastime is a very modern and cool restaurant. It's complete with a pool area, bar, and regular restaurant seating area. The exposed brick wall makes it feel like you are in another town or city, maybe Seattle? The menu has so many options. I ended up choosing the Chicken Panini. It was so good. The bacon made the sandwich extra flavorful. I chose to have my sandwich with the house fries. Let me say that these are some of the best fries I've ever had. I also ate my fries with the aioli. SO SO SO GOOD. A lemony and buttery taste that even complemented my sandwich! Others in my party ordered the buffalo wings, house burger and the pulled pork sandwich! All were good! We stumbled onto this place while looking for a decent meal in Oroville. We were staying in a nearby resort for a few days. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food was surprisingly good. I honestly didn't expect that. Try their daily specials... They are very creative and well done. And they had a great selection of beer and wine. A friend and I were in town for the afternoon and needed to get a bite to eat. She recommended this place and said she had been here once before and enjoyed it. The place is very modern in appearance and had a good vibe. We decided to sit outside as it was a perfect day for it. We both ordered the Bison Burger with fries. The food was prepared well and definitely hit the spot! Tim the owner came out to chat with us and see how things were and if their was anything we needed. I noticed he came out and made small talk with the other guests as well; you can definitely tell he is passionate about his place of business and what he does. That speaks volumes to me. Good beer! I normally go for IPA but their dark lager and amber lager were top notch. Growler fills are a bit pricey but the flights were pretty cheap. We tried to go back twice with the family for dinner but they were full both times! The food is excellent all around, great selection of bar food and entrees. The bar is friendly, good beers on tap and yummy mixed drinks. The restaurant side is large and open, it's nice but I would feel welcome to bring my kids here. There is a patio in the street with tables, a couple of pool tables towards the back and it looks like maybe a patio beyond. The space itself is simply beautiful, it looks clean and fresh but you can tell the building and space have rich history, the woodwork around the bar is a work of art and the clean exposed brick walls make an incredible backdrop for this bar and grill. read more

This recently reopened resto is a very short trip across the US border from Osoyoos - and well worth it! Comfort food in a comfortable room! The menu includes several items from their smoker as well as salads, appetizers and hot sandwiches. We had an excellent meal, excellent service in a warm and welcoming environment. Between the four of us, we had one of the excellent burgers, the steak salad and two steak dinners and we shared with one another. We all agreed the fries were better than most we've had and the burger had excellent flavor with a healthy portion of meat. The steak salad was excellent as well. We have lived in the Okanogan for only a short while and are used to excellent restaurants where we moved from. Our guests are from an area well known for its excellent food and wine. We were all impressed with the Pastime and agree with reviewers who say this is above and beyond what you might expect in Oroville. We will return and highly recommend it. read more

The modern decor was the first thing that caught my eye as I drove past this establishment. The next time I was in Oroville I stopped in for a pint. The ambience of this place was relaxed and I like the open concept. They have a decent beer selection, the bartender hand crafts wonderful cocktails. The name of this place sounds like a dark, low ceiling place with old, tired folks bellied yes up to the bar. Don't let this hold you back! When you drive up, you'll see immediately the big windows, open floor plan and clean space that is the remodeled Pastime Bar and Grille. They even have my favorite with the large (garage door) opening to the back patio to sit in the sun. Stellar! I enjoyed a fresh salad with crispy greens and a medium rare steak w blue cheese....exactly what I was hoping for...and tasty filling. I would go way out of my way to return to this friendly, bright bar and grille! I'd love to try their sandos or burger but am watching my carbs! read more

So lucky to have found this hidden gem in Oroville, WA. Beautiful, open atmosphere with hard wood floors and brick. Free shuffleboard (I learned to play upon stumbling onto the Pastime) and pool. Menu is diverse and look for different specials throughout the week. (Pulled pork nachos are to die for! If you are in the mood for a burger, the Pastime Burger does not disappoint, just ask for a side of housemade aioli with your rustic fries). And the house brewed beers, I recommend the Ogre Stout! Super friendly staff, hardworking owners, awesome service, great food and beers. I'd give this place TEN stars if I could. :) read more
