At the recommendation of another guest. They also suggested, if you like spice, to try the chili pepper infused olive oil. So glad we did! The risotto was perfectly cooked, very creamy with an abundance of fresh mushrooms. We topped with a drizzle of the spicy olive oil. And man that's got a bite! So good. For dinner I had the meat lasagna and my husband had a pasta with sausage. Both were very good. Mine was a large serving, filled with delicious pasta, cheese and sauce. My husband had a smaller pasta noodle, and the sauce was different than the red sauce on my lasagna. It was delicious!! We enjoyed our meals. And we even were able to purchase a jar of the spicy olive oil! Service was very friendly and attentive. If we make it back to Milan, we will come back.

The croissants have the perfect flaky texture and the crust shatters a bit when you take a bite. The flavor is perfect as well; I had one filled with crème patisserie and it was excellent. Everything in the pasty case looked good; there were cookies, little tarts, and filled pastries like eclairs and cream puffs, as well as the large selection of croissants. I also had a very good pizzette with pesto, mozzarella, and vegetables. And they have amazing arancini as well. Great service and a nice cafe whether or not you need to eat gf.

I would recommend making a reservation during prime hours and sitting outside if they have space there. The pizzas are the thin crust Roman style and very solid - the classic Margherita is the one to get as the execution is fantastic. You get the flavor of a NYC slice made with better ingredients and with a great thin crust. This reminds me of Marta in NYC which closed during COVID. The classic entrees are made in the comfort food style - solid flavors, generous portions, and good ingredients. Be sure to try the costelleta or ossobucco. The cutlet is perfectly tender with a crispy crust served with fantastic roasted potatoes. The ossobucco itself is just okay but the risotto is very satisfying especially with the bone marrow. If you are by the Duomo or Galleria and want comfort food this is a great option.
