I'll have my macaron and cotton candy too!
    Latifa S.

Awe shucks!! Love: bright colored, pastels, decorations! Made to order cotton candy! Cakes! Fun: candy! So much candy. Opens till midnight. Busiest after 8:30 or 9 pm since everyone came up from dinner spots downstairs. So did I. Taste: whomp!! it's like swiping left and getting catfish on everything!! Every single item: from every angle. Photoshopped treats. Looks pretty! Taste horrible!! Cotton candy: double whomp!! Fun to boomerang! She didn't know how to make it. The worst: calories!!! And that darn cotton candy dripped and stained everything. My FLAL skirt, my favorite beige suede Prada sandals. My neck/chest and even my necklace since I was holding it next to it! Stained with drippy purple cotton candy sugar! Luckily it unluckily, it was all free/ part of all inclusive package. The only place I went one and done in Hyatt Ziva. Nothing to see here unless you are with an army of kids: or even a few kids. Keep on walking!

A tub of mango, pineapple, or watermelon was only two dollars each! They also had a lot of baked goods that looked yummy and a small food court. I also tried the flan, which was very delicious and not too sweet (which is how I like it). Overall, great grocery store! I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

It's a regular supermarket, but I suspect that the locals don't shop here at all. The prices are pretty high, and much of the food isn't quite practical. This is a two story grocery store- not counting the parking. Be sure that you don't miss the top floor, where all the liquor and food hall is. Nom! Parking is on the bottom floor. They sell you validation at the cash register. Beware- the grocery bagger is looking for tips. My favorite part of the supermarket is all the cheap Mexican gifts they sell, with clearly marked prices. Actually, many of them are cheaper than the flea market down the way, because you don't have to haggle and deal with the cat calls from the clerks. Beware of the touts selling excursions and whatnot at the entrance. Just because they're in a supermarket doesn't mean they can't take advantage of gringos. This supermarket gets awfully busy in the afternoon. The aisles are narrow. It's best to come at an off time.

They treated us like royalty. The service was amazing and the chef even came out to chat with us. Coffee was spectacular and my husband asked for a recommendation on the most traditional breakfast he could get there and he loved it as it had chicaronnes in there along with tons of flavor. I had the waffle eggs and bacon and I enjoyed how thin the bacon was cut because it actually cooked up nice and crisp. atmosphere is airy and modern and the baked goods all looked spectacular however I just had no room to sample any.

I got the chocolate dome, which was a chocolate and vanilla moose in a dome of dark chocolate. It was really good. I also tried the red velvet cake, brownies, and cherry macaroons which were all tasty. I will say, I've never really liked macaroons but these were something I would choose to get again. None of us ordered it, but there was a really cool French press coffee that they made at the table (boiled water over stereo up into another glass dome that was connected to it, then turned off the heat and the coffee filtered down). Someone at the next table ordered it so we were able to watch. It was so neat. Definitely order that if you're a coffee person.
