Paris made our wedding cake and it was all around incredible! Holy cow the cake was delicious -- many of our guests liked it so much they had multiple slices and have continued to talk about how memorable it was. We appreciated that we were able to do multiple flavors in the cake (by tiers). We had a chocolate cake with cream cheese icing layer, a coconut cake with lime buttercream layer, and a pistachio cake with raspberry buttercream layer. I truly can't pick a favorite. The coconut cake definitely wins for most interesting and was a huge fan favorite. Beyond the flavor, the cake was beautiful!! Paris arranged flowers on the cake and made our vision come to life. Paris was wonderful to work with from start to finish. From day 1, we could tell Paris was an artist and a baker -- she sketched out cakes based on our description to help us better see what it might look like and sent us home with a big tasting box to help us pick flavors. My moms Halloween birthday cake was sooooo cute! I found Paris and Passionflower cakes by scouring Facebook and the web for nearby cake makers when I realized we would be in the area for my moms birthday for JMU's homecoming this year. Paris was friendly, fast to respond and very professional with regards to answering questions and sending me a contract once we ironed out all the details of cost and cake. On Halloween day we drove from Virginia Beach to Harrisonburg and stopped in Charlottesville while coming through to pick up the cake. It wasn't too terribly hard to find her home but we did get lost trying to get out! The cake was ready to go in a little box and she carried it out to the car for us. She was ready and waiting for us based on the time I have for pickup. The cake: sooo adorable! I found a photo of a small pumpkin cake and asked Paris to make it realistic and rustic. No cartoon faves or fake leaves. I asked for a small witch hart on top with a purple and gold buckle on JMU's colors and it was adorable! We did vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. Paris was FANTASTIC!! We picked her because of her wide variety of interesting cake flavors (ok, tbh I was hooked immediately by the idea of a bourbon brownie cake) and frosting/filling options. She was great to work with - very informative and willing to answer questions while we narrowed down our choices. We LOVED our cakes - all 3 flavors! We got the bourbon brownie (of course) with chocolate raspberry ganache and cream cheese fillings, the carrot cake with cinnamon ginger cream cheese filling, and the red velvet with cream cheese frosting inside and white chocolate frosting on the outside.
