My family and I have been customers for over 30 years. Last week my husband ordered a birthday cake for my birthday. We served the cake same night. To our surprise, the cake was dry and crumbly. The icing also tasted off. I called Chandler's when they were open again. Ultimately, I was asked to bring the cake back for them to inspect it. The person in charge stated nothing was wrong with the cake. She then asked the owner and they never bothered to call me back. They have touched my cake and said I could come pick it up if I wanted to. They are refusing to replace the cake or refund us. Apparently they do not care about quality products as much as they claim! We will never visit this bakery again! We are not longer loyal customers! read more

I visit Chandler's bakery weekly. It has such an incredible variety of desserts. I love the checkerboard cake slice and my wife loves the lemon coconut cake slice. I'm a teacher, and this past spring I experienced Chander's for the first time when another teacher brought two cakes from Chandler's for an occasion for our 8th graders. Oh. My. Wow. The cake was absolutely fantastic. The traditional yellow cake/ buttercream icing was perfect. The chocolate cake/ fudge icing was even better. I don't even like chocolate cake. Now I do- all because of you, Chandler's, all because of you. Recently, it was my husband's birthday. He wanted cake, and we were in town thinking about where to go. The cake would only be for the two of us, so we didn't want something big. We thought about a couple different cupcake places and he just wasn't feeling cupcakes. And then I remembered the perfection that is Chandler's. We showed up at the bakery and were just enticed by the aroma. Everything behind the glass counter looked amazing. We split a piece of the Mooch Cake which is highly, highly recommended to you by me, friends. The absolute most delicious thing I've ever tasted when it comes to cake. It is chocolate cake plus yellow cake plus peanut butter butter cream icing covered in a chocolate shell. What?! Who even thinks of these things?! We also had a giant ladylock and a tiny cannoli. "OK, how about the misspelled name, it's kind of important to have the correct spelling," the girl was still rude and huffed and puffed about adding an e. Told oh well you can just come in we are right by the door. I thought ok. I have my mask. Yep NO! Wait in line, give my name 3 ft from other customer. Then wait 5 minutes for preordered to be boxed?? Then go in to pay. They ask for my card, and a signature! With their grimy pen no less!!! No wipe down between customers, NO touch less, no gloves on girl who served me, just mask have on!!! NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!! I asked for a reason! If I'd have known I'd have brought my own pen and worn gloves. My husband and I ate both high risk. He has no spleen if exposed he dies . You'll find "normal" cupcakes and even just basic sheet cake with frosting. Here and there you'll have something interesting that's oreo or chocolate related. The nice thing is that they have large sized free samples so.. aye.
