First off I'm writing this review from a local perspective. Aren't we gitty that Orange finally has a mom/pop ice cream parlor? A yum yum is in order. They only serve Hersey Ice Cream brand, which is very acceptable. Oh, and yes they have Hersey brownies - be sure to add those to your order! Service was excellent, the sweetest grandmother in town was behind the cash register giving us all the smiles. I tried the delicious dark chocolate ice cream with tasty raspberry flavored swirls and chocolate flakes. My mom had a mixture of vanilla and dark chocolate raspberry. Eat up, eat right, and enjoy those calories. I know I will.

I left there and went straight to Barboursville Winery and got a glass of their Brut Rose for the same price and it took me an hour to drink it...no comparison. It was a regular size (and beautiful) champagne flute. So if you want any wine at Grelen, you better buy the bottle or it will be ounce for ounce one of the most expensive wines you've ever had...the sandwich was good and a generous size.

Maybe 30-45 minutes. There was an acknowledgment of the delay of appetizers with no explanation, however. We received entrees close to 9pm. All were lukewarm at best. Evidently the center my friend's filet was still cold (the order was for medium rare). My husband and I had the lamb and the chicken. Both just okay. He also had an old fashioned that was all ice and not really what you'd expect for a restaurant of that quality. We enjoyed our gin cocktails and wine, but skipped dessert altogether. So you know what you're getting food wise. That said, the change to the onion rings was smart. The new rings are great! The only negative is they are only available in one size. A larger size is needed. The only other negative is other Hardee's locations run from so so to being awful. This location is usually good to excellent. Service can be a little slow at times, but as other reviews said, the staff here is always friendly and seem to care. The regular customers also seem nice ans it's clear they're hanging out just enjoying the food and each other's company. So, this isn't fine dining, but if you want (mostly) "fast" food done right this is the Hardee's for you. oh and this location does the breakfast biscuits excellent.
