My sister recommended me the place and honesty shouldn't have listened. The price was reasonable but the quality of nails aren't it. I left the salon with fat messy nails that looked nothing like the picture I had requested. It was also a bit frustrating because I felt like I was rushed out so they can fit in whatever last minute appointments and left me with a bad experience. Needed to get my nails done since all of the other salons were booked. I don't understand how a hole in the wall business could be on Hollywood Boulevard!! And what's worse is I could have done better with my eyes closed!! After telling the manicurist numerous times what needed to be fixed, I just gave up. Please don't go there, you will be highly disappointed. The main downside here is the location on Hollywood Blvd where there's an awful lot going on. So you may experience the sounds of drums next door, music loudly floating in from the street, the sounds of screaming passers by, and all of it contributes to a bit of a chaotic vibe through no fault of the hardworking ladies who run this salon. I went again and this time I said I'm gonna be brave and get the pedicure. My pedicure and manicure were great. HOWEVER, remember when I said the seats look clean. Well the seats were not clean, the remote to the chair were filthy. The cart they use with all the utensils in it, absolutely FILTHY. So much white particles caked up on it I can't tell whether it's dust or nail debris. Whichever the two it hasn't been cleaned off for at least a month. I should've taken pictures of this place. It's crazy because I enjoy my nail service but the filth makes it all not worth it. You go to a clean place and then they don't do good service lol it's a freaking headache trying to find good nail salons. read more

This place is not fancy but the location is close to work so it's perfect for me. It's located on Hollywood Blve between Ivar/Cahuenga just a block from the W Hotel and the Pantages. So far this is the cheapest place that I've found for manicure/pedicure. It's only $22 or $25 if you want to sit in the spa chair. I chose the $22 option because the three spa chairs were already taken and I highly suggest you dish out the extra $3 for the spa chair because their regular chair is really uncomfortable. They have a little TV playing hip hop music videos which I loved and the workers didn't talk much so it was the perfect environment for me to relax a bit. The place is cash only, they do have a little ATM inside their shop but I suggest you come with cash in hand otherwise you'll have to pay the ATM fees. Both Chase and B of A is only a block away. read more

I have been going here since 2014 Tammy is the greatest I love the experience that I have there it's never bad. Her daughter is very sweet she does really great nails especially designs. I'll give them a five out of five if I could get 10 out of 10 I would. Just the hospitality alone is great she's so kind and I enjoy going to smaller nail shops because I feel like the hospitality is better. If I could give NO STARS I would. One word - HORRIBLE! I came in to get a set done, showed them the picture and they discussed amongst eachother whether they could and who could do the nail design. They figured it out - sat down and started calculating on a calculator, continuously asking me if Iam sure I can pay?!? Never once did I ask for the price, the price was not the case. Could they do the work though was the question. After telling them multiple times I can pay 60$ as if it was a set for several hundred dollars. The nails looked NOTHING like the picture. Then I asked to get my lashes done. That was an additional 30$ - okay? Can you do the service for me, again is the question. Finally started doing my lashes, my eyes BURNED from the solution they use - they placed the lashes horribly so my eyes were constantly itching from the hair pointing out, and pricking my eyelids. Went back to get them removed because they were causing too much irritation - guess what. They don't know how to. So they offer a service they can't reverse - but offered to redo them for an additional 15$. Then I wanted to get my nails removed also, because it was just B.A.D thick nails - bad work all around and didn't look nice - we were two who had got our nails done, they removed my friends by literally taking a acrylic nail and POPPED each and every nail OFF and charged her 20$ for that. When it came to taking mine off, they refused and said they no longer had time - after telling us to wait 45 minutes before they could get to us. Please stay AWAY from this place! Communication skills is HORRIBLE! Service is HORRIBLE! Work is HORRIBLE! DO NOT GO HERE! I wish I had taken a picture for you all to see the horrible work they did, but in my frustration I just simply rushed to the next nail spot and got that awful work taken off. Helen is FLAWLESS in her work. She is a TOP MASTER in acrylics and her attention to detail and professionalism is unmatched in the area. She and staff also keep a clean galley and everything is sanitized and thoroughly cleaned. All their chairs and pedicure lounges are high quality and new, comfortable. Not to mention unlike many nail salons these women are very respectful and cool and don't bark and complain about clients amongst each other. Everyone is happy and the vibe is always pleasant. The pedicure technician Anne is also extremely focused on a flawless job. These ladies don't rush u in and out and take great pride in their work. Awful. Just awful. Went in for a gel manicure during my lunch break. For starters, the manicurist was 15min late for the appointment. Since i didn't have much time, she tried to rush through it. I literally had to GUIDE her every step of the way: "you didn't remove all the cuticles. You didn't paint the whole nail. The pinky nail is completely crooked." When she was done painting, it looked like a 5 year old had done the job. I asked her to please remove my gels, as I'd have to go somewhere else to fix them. So, she aggressively scraped the gels off my hand, hurt my nailbeds, and didn't remove all the polish. I left without paying, and didn't have time to eat my lunch. Never, ever again. read more

This is my girlfriends review. It was my first time experiencing this nail shop. My friend and I went there to get a gel manicure but I also did a regular pedi to experience their total quality of mani and pedi services. I did blue and silver sparkling and my friend did blue and gold sparkling. Both came out AMAZING!!! Actually, it was my second time doing gel manicure. My first experience at different shop was not satisfied so I did not really expect a lot; however, I will definitely go back and will do it again. My friend and I already decided which color we would like to for the next time. Btw, the pedicure came out really nice as well. WORST NAIL SHOP EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First I get there at 10:15 on a Sunday. They were open at 10:00 am and the one lady didn't get there till 10:50. It was another guy in there that needed to get a manicure so I had to wait for him to finish. I waited till about 11:10. Then she finally got to my nails. When she started it looked really good. Then when we go to the polish time it was mess. I sat under the dryer for about 3 minutes then they let me go. As soon as I get to work the polish starts bubbling off. The nail color was chipping and she didn't put enough coats on. I called and asked for a refund, then she blamed it on me and said shell fix it. Then I got there and she fixed it and it still looks like crap. I went there about 3 days ago and the gel has chipped off one nail. The other nails are cracking. IM NEVER GOING BACK! read more

Excellent acrylic manicure fill for $14. The lady who did my nails really took her time and listened to me regarding the shape I wanted. She also fixed a few of my nails which were broken, and now they are perfect and all the same shape. High quality acrylic manicure for a low price. The pedicure for me was disappointing. I paid $4 extra for a spa pedicure, because it supposedly included a massage. The massage was literally 30 seconds or less. Very rushed. I would come back here, but for manicures only. read more

Absolutely awful!!! Went for a full set of acrylics and wanted to do something cute and Halloween themed. Showed the nail tech a picture of what I was looking for and she said she could definitely do it( picture attached below) During the process of applying the acrylic she got it all over my fingers, which did NOT feel good being ripped off my skin. None of the nails were even filed to be straight at the top, some were put on crooked, some are still covering my cuticle. The acrylic is lumpy and super uneven, the lengths aren't even the same. I stopped her multiple times asking for her to fix things, I'm not one to leave unhappy without trying to fix it. She was unresponsive to my requests, and even tried telling me I was wrong. We finally got to the painting process and she didn't even try. It's a messy, awful paint job and is NOWHERE NEAR what I asked for. If you can't do something, don't say you can. They clearly didn't have the polish necessary to do it. They also charge you extra to use a debit card. read more

I have to give it to them. I've been going here back and forth for a while hike and sometimes I'm super happy and sometimes less happy. However, they are always positive and will try to squeeze you in before they leave for the night. I'm always pleased with the younger girl(sorry don't know her name) who always get my feet right. Yesterday I came in and asked about acrylic on my big toes since I messed up the corner badly one of them but instead of trying to over charge me and say yes she told me she could just put acrylic on the corner instead of the whole nail. I was very pleased with my nails yesterday too. Sometimes the results isn't 10/10 but they will try to please you and your needs and for the price, location and positivity I definitely thinks it's a place worth to go to. Look. When I want my nails did, I want them did fast and I want them done well. I'm not someone who needs to be pampered, I am business-like when it comes to my appearance and I expect the staff who attend to my needs in this department to exhibit a similar business-likeness. I want the workers to use sterilized equipment so that I don't end up with any surprises, because surprises are never a good thing in this line of work. I don't want them to gossip with me, to flatter me or compliment me needlessly so that I become a repeat customer. Damn it, I know I look good -- that's what I'm paying you guys for. I want my pedicure to look so good that, as long as I don't get them painted, I can wear flip flops without fear of exposed hangnails, ridges or uneven cutting for weeks on end. And when I paint my nails green, I want the double coat so that it doesn't chip and flake like a bad British scone at the first sign of trouble. I want my tips and toes on fleek, and Passion Nails does that with no frills. Also, I want you to take good care of my girlfriend if she decides to go with you guys again, because last time her boyfriend's manicure outlasted hers by at least two weeks. read more

However, after the fill was complete, she only filed down the area where she filled in my Acrylic. I asked for a gel coat of clear gel over my colored nail polish; i had no idea this was going to make the polish chip and break after it dried. I would have hoped the professional would have disclosed this fact prior to paying extra. My nails broke and now i have to get them removed and pay more out of pocket.
