Horrible service. Went to pick up my food and had to wait 30 min once I got there. It should not take that long to make a salad. The host told be the reason it took so long was becuase "we were talking in the back." WOW, atleast lie to me and tell me you were baking fresh bread in the back. She was so rude to me. This incident just lost passarello's my business and I am the type of person who spends thousands a year. We are new to the area and after seeing their delivery cars all over my neighborhood I decided to give them a try one night when I was craving pizza but unable to leave the house to pickup. We have since ordered multiple times and have been pleased each time. The food is consistent, fresh and the portions are generous. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity; $37 for 2 large salads, with meat, and a calzone so large my husband and I have leftovers. I'm a New York born and bred kid and there's no better place for pizza than there. BUT, I went to school in South Jersey, my girlfriend lives down there and Passariellos was amazing. Cheesesteak pizza- enough said! Most pizza places down there that seem all hyped up- aren't. The only other pizza place that could kinda border my away-from-home liking is Corrado's in Sicklerville. My girlfriend's job often gets food provided by drug reps and that was how I fell in love with cheesesteak pizza. I don't care about anything else, all I needed was that to know it's a good place. I have been going to Passariello's for the four years since I moved to Voorhees. It's one of my favorite places because of the variety of food options and the food court style ordering. When you arrive to eat-in, you are given a "passport" card that the staff add your orders onto for you to give the cashier on the way out. There are separate stations by type of food: salad/soup, pasta/entrees, sandwiches, pizza, dessert. There is something for everyone. Some of my favorites are: buffalo chicken pizza--the best I've ever had, penne pasta with vodka sauce and grilled chicken, and the create-your-own salad. read more

This used to be one of my favorite spots to come home to after college. It's cafeteria style but everything is really tasty. It makes it easy when you have someone that wants pasta and someone else wants pizza. I always order the penne vodka. It's come with so much that you could probably share it with someone. The restaurant is a cafeteria service Style so you get card you take to the different food stations( soup&salad Station, pastas &entree,sandwich ,pizza). Well, this is long overdue but it needs to be done. A few years ago, my partner and I went in to Passariello's to eat. We were long-time regulars there. One day we went in to order our food, and we saw some of the Mexican men behind the food area gather together in a group and make a point to look right in our direction. They were laughing and calling us the equivalent of "dyke" in Spanish. No, not just gay or lesbian. They used the closest Spanish equivalent to "dyke". My partner and I are both fluent in Spanish and understood every single thing they said about us. It was extremely hurtful. It also made us concerned for our safety. We paid for our food and got out as quickly as possible. Now the part that really stings. Shortly after that, I tried (via phone and e-mail) to reach the manager. I explained in e-mail what had happened. I never received a response. Is their employees' blatant bigotry and aggression toward gay women acceptable? It wasn't to us. We haven't given a single dime to Passariello's since that day. read more

I frequently drive on White Horse Rd and Laurel Oak because of all the shopping and restaurants in the area, but I had never eaten at Passariello's Voorhees. I finally decided to stop in to pick up a cheesesteak on 05/02/2017. The menu is the same as any other Italian pizzeria, but the set up is a bit unusual. As explained by another reviewer, it's cafeteria style with different stations. You firstly need to pick up a card, that gets swiped at each station when you order, and then you turn in that card to the cashier to pay for all your orders together. The food and service were good. However, you do feel a little rushed at the station if you're undecided. Also, there are no prices listed on the menu at the different stations, so you do need to first look at their printed menu, or online, if you don't want to be shocked by what you're paying, when you get to the cashier's. The next time I will probably just call-in my order, or order online to make it easier. I ordered to-go, but they appear to have plenty of seating for people who want to eat in. read more

You sit wherever you like, they give you a card and you can pick and choose from a variety of different counters...pizza, pasta, sandwiches etc. They charge the card and you pay for everything all at once. This is a quick easy lunch spot. I come every niw and again because of the convienece. The service is good, but the food is just mediocre. However, the manager Kim on duty today, needs to learn how to treat people. I was there for lunch. Got there early so I was close to the only customer in there for a little bit. She was yelling across the whole restaurant to one of her young employees about some sort of sauce. When he either didn't hear her or couldn't understand her, she proceeded to scream louder and then said why is he looking at me like I'm dumb. He came over to her and she then yelled at him in a slow very annunciated tone about this sauce. It completely turned me off. Meanwhile I should say not one person greeted me or had helped me at this point yet because everyone was in a tizzy about what she was doing. I don't ever write reviews, this is actually my first. I was so appalled at how this woman was "managing" her staff that I had to say something. She is very obnoxious, mean, rude, and a terrible manager as far as i could see. I will not return again. Ordered delivery of calamari over sphgetti and marinara. What did I get: a bowel of sphgetti. Where was the calamari? I think the there was 5 small rings, and 2 lbs of pasta. Very disappointing for $14.59, plus a tip, cost me $17. If your looking to skimp, do it on something else. I bet if I had eaten in, I wouldn't have gotten ripped off. I sure would have asked for more calamari. If I wanted a bowel of sphgetti, I would have ordered it. One piece of non garlic bread accompanied it. I was going to order some garlic bread, but at $4, I passed. Overpriced, and quite the rip off. How much does squid cost. I know when I go fishing, I get a pound for $3. It's all the same squid. I am so disappointed. This was our go to place to get a quick dinner or take out. Went in tonight to get just side dishes for dinner. I was mistakenly overcharged by 22.00. I doubled checked my receipt since it seemed so high for what I got. I drove to get a refund and to pay the correct amount. Girl at register said she issued a refund and then charged my card for an additional 25.00. Now, they have 75.00 of my debit card money tied up for 5+ days for a 23.00 bill. When I asked to see the manager, he was rude, arrogant, and I never heard "I am sorry" from any one of them!. The manager said, "What do you want me to do about it? It was a mistake, so what". He said, "there's nothing I am gonna do about it. It was on a card. You are gonna have to wait, that's all." We are no longer their customer.
