I was assured this was something they could help with. We went in and my daughter took their version of the PSAT for $60. We were pulled into an office where we were spoken down to and my daughter was told that there was no excuse for her low grade since she had just taken the course. We were then given three very costly options to purchase hours ranging from $5000-$11000 and full payment was due immediately. There was no discussion of the policy regarding payments, expiration of purchased hours, progress checks, etc. Despite my hesitation, I signed my daughter up for one two-hour study class in Algebra at the drop-in rate of $125/hour. When she arrived, she was handed a workbook in a room full of other students and that was it. Her "instructor" reviewed her answers after 90 minutes, told her they were correct, and that was it. For $250, I paid for ZERO instruction. The book could have been given in advance as we scheduled the class two days prior at the location! Do not waste your time or money at C2!

We were honest and explained we needed to evaluate and see if he can help her to get better. He flat out said he cannot accept her short term. She must sign up for two months and cant accept her. I emphasized she doesnt know yet, its not that we know, she came here as her last hope to see if she can manage AP and he didnt care. We had an excellent match with a tutor named Taylor C. from Suprex. Surprex staff kindly asked us if we were okay with having a male tutor since most people request a female. I am so glad we made the choice to go with Taylor because this guy created a love for reading in our son for life. Taking a break for now but hope to return to kickoff the new school year strong.

She struggled a lot to figure out how to work the problems, but I giver her credit for going out of her way to try to help. In the end, I hired another tutor (not a part of club z), but over half my money was refunded. I believe club z is a great tutor center, however, I would not recommend it for higher levels of math.
