At best, the program is lackluster--there are no real advantages here compared to better-priced, higher-quality options just down the street. What's worse is the staff. Time and again, I found them short, dismissive, and visibly annoyed when approached with questions or concerns. This is not the environment you want for young children, who need patience, kindness, and encouragement. Instead, the tone here feels cold and transactional--as though the children are simply numbers to be managed. I personally had a terrible experience, and after seeing similar stories from other parents, it's clear there's a troubling pattern. A preschool should be a safe, supportive space for both children and families. Sadly, School for Little Children fails on that most basic promise. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are far better programs in Sugar Land where your child will be welcomed with warmth, respect, and professionalism--qualities this place is sorely lacking.

This is my first review for Tutor Doctor because we have just started. I will write more as our…read moresessions go on, but I found it important to share with other parents who may be in the same situation we were....desperately looking for help for our child. We visited the other learning centers and quite honestly, they felt like I was going in to buy a gym membership. It was more about the pushy sales, bottom line and I felt like my child was more about there business plan to make dollars for the year. I didnt feel any compassion or true love for helping my child get through her challenges. After much research, I accidently ran across Tudor Doctor and called. The owner Parker was very helpful, extremely caring about the needs of my child and genuinely felt like she wanted to help and cared for my childs well being. We set up an in home appt and I felt the same when I wrote the check to start the sessions. This company is different. Parker took the time to get to know my child, her needs and is working to find a tutor to match her needs and my childs character. I am feeling great about this opportunity and will report back.....I just feel it had to be said! There are still people who care out there........business is second

The owner, Parker, met with us in our home to talk about my son's needs and to ask exactly what we were looking for in a tutor. By the end of the meeting she already had a tutor in mind. The tutor called me within a day or two to introduce herself and confirm our first session. She worked with my son throughout the summer and really boosted his skills. She was very sweet and kind and patient with him. She had many innovative ideas and activities to help him learn and kept it fun. If she was stuck in traffic or had any kind of problem at all I immediately got a text from her. She was very flexible and worked around our vacation and had no problem when we had to reschedule one day. Each week you receive a report stating exactly what the tutor worked on. It has the date, time of tutoring, and details of the session. With Tutor Doctor you buy tutoring hours for your family, not just a specific person. They can be used on any child in the household, which I think is a great idea. They also come to you, which is a huge time saver. If your child is struggling, give them a call. You will be pleased with the results.

My son is learning things like manners, practical life skills, and academic skills in the Transitions class (with 2 and 3 year olds) and he is thriving at this school. His teachers have all been excellent. His teachers in the Toddler II class (Ms. Nancy and Ms. Salma) were fantastic teachers and were always so patient and kind with the kids. Ms. Satiya and Ms. Ishrath are his current teachers in the Transitions class and I adore them. Ms. Satiya is like the kid-whisperer!! She is the perfect combination of kind, gentle, and strict. Ms. Ishrath helps the kids with their lessons and academic work in the morning and every morning I see every child engaged in what they are doing! My son is always very excited to go to school and get his lesson mat. I can't say enough great things about this place. My family and I are SO fortunate to have found it last summer!

I enrolled my daughter at this Montessori school and removed her approximately 3.5 hours into her…read morevery first day because I was extremely concerned by what I personally observed. While watching the classroom cameras, I observed teachers spending extended periods engaged in conversation with each other instead of actively engaging with and supervising the children. I observed staff members on their phones, a teacher leave the classroom while children remained inside, and a teacher sitting at the desk while there appeared to be very little engagement or instruction taking place. Most concerning to me was watching an older child repeatedly swing at a smaller child while I did not see appropriate intervention from staff. When I arrived to pick up my daughter, I also personally witnessed teachers sitting on the same table where the children were eating their lunch. I saved the video footage documenting what I observed and sent the videos directly to the director. Despite providing that documentation, I have not received any meaningful follow-up regarding the safety and supervision concerns I raised, nor have I received a resolution regarding the full refund I requested. When I requested my refund, I was referred to the school's policy requiring 30 days' notice in order to receive the deposit back and requiring the child to remain enrolled during that notice period. I understand having a 30-day policy for a normal withdrawal, but this was not a normal withdrawal or simply a change of mind. I removed my daughter approximately 3.5 hours into her first day because of what I personally observed. There is absolutely no way I would leave my child in an environment I no longer felt comfortable with for another 30 minutes simply to satisfy a policy, much less another 30 days. What is particularly concerning to me is that the school's own policies also state that staff members are not supposed to be on their phones, yet I have video footage of staff using their phones during the time my daughter was there. I find it difficult to understand how the 30-day policy can be strictly enforced against a parent while the concerns I documented regarding staff conduct and supervision have not been addressed. I believe the circumstances surrounding my daughter's immediate withdrawal should be taken into consideration when determining whether the standard 30-day withdrawal policy applies. My daughter's safety comes before a deposit or tuition payment. I am sharing this experience because other parents deserve to know what I personally observed and how my concerns were handled so they can make their own informed decision about where they leave their children.

We were skeptical that Education One would be better although you would think it might be less convenient because you have to drive there vs Varsity Tutors which is online. VT did not listen to us when we tried to get help in the reading and comprehension/vocab part of the SAT because my son was already at 720 in Math. Nyal allowed my son to dictate what he wanted to focus on based on his experience at Varsity Tutors. He gained 70 points in Math and 40 points in the Reading component for a total increase of 110 points. Conversely Varsity Tutors, for which we paid almost twice the money, we saw my son's Math go DOWN 10 points and No change in Reading to go from 1420 to 1410.
