Not only has she shown significant improvement in her academic skills, but she has also blossomed in her personal development. One notable achievement is her newfound independence, particularly evident in her ability to eat on her own. This may seem like a small feat to some, but for us, it signifies a major milestone in her growth. Ms. Kajal has played a pivotal role in nurturing her confidence and fostering independence. I commend Ms.Kajal for her dedication, patience, and unwavering support in helping my daughter thrive both academically and personally!A special shoutout to the front office team -- Ms. Lavanya, Mr. Shay, and Ms. Pooja. They are always so welcoming, kind, and incredibly helpful. We're grateful to be part of this amazing school - petite Maison Montessori!

She played a significant role in helping my very active child grow and develop patience. Her understanding and encouragement made a big difference, and I'm truly grateful my child was part of her class. If this school had an elementary program, I would've happily continued with them. Special thanks to her colleagues Ms Nighat and Ms. Farishta This is one of the best schools in Richmond, Texas (77407). Before joining here, my son attended another school where he would fall sick almost every day. But ever since he joined this school, he's stayed healthy - their cleanliness and hygiene are exceptionally well maintained. The front desk staff, Ms. Puja and Ms. Lavanya, are also very friendly and supportive. They're always welcoming and ready to help, which adds to the overall positive atmosphere of the school. Highly recommend this place to any parent looking for a nurturing and well-managed environment for their little one!

Things started out great when we enrolled our son in 2022…read more We withdrew our son after a year and a half. He was in Transition 1 with the most incredible teachers (Ms Lina & Ms Maya) whom he loved. The problem was he wasn't learning anything new and began to regress being with the younger kids. He was too advanced academically for Transition but when I asked for him to move up to Primary they wouldn't because he wasn't "fully potty trained". Fully potty trained for them meant needing ZERO assistance in the restroom. Well he's 3! He can do everything he just needs help with cleaning himself when he poops. As most 3 year old do. After NUMEROUS exhausting conversations and emails with the Director, teacher in Primary 1 and team there they were ALL adamant that he must be fully potty trained needing no assistance. The primary teacher was set she could/would not help him. Which meant if my 3 year old son didn't clean himself good or at all when pooped no one would know and he would be LEFT TO SIT IN HIS FECES. They only helped with obvious accidents. I couldn't imagine letting any child in my care walk around like that. It's neglect! Ms Lina in Transition 1 volunteered to come help if he needed it but to no avail. So the "best" they would do is let him visit the Primary class 2 hours a day. Which wasn't good enough because even though he enjoyed it, he didn't get the full experience to grow since he still had to be with the 1-2 year olds. So $20,000+ later we withdrew him because leaving him with the babies majority of the day to continue to regress wasn't an option. After a year there instead of growing as advertised and expected he started baby talking at home. This is a kid who knows all 50 states AND their capitals. Can write his name and has a photogenic memory. He was reciting his alphabet and counting to 20 at 15 months. And reading full sentences by 2.5 years old. All of this from what we do with him AT HOME. NOT from anything at HGM. We expected him to excel there. After all it's Montessori and supposed to be the best. In December 2023 I found out only 1-2 of the Primary teachers are actually Montessori certified. Shouldn't they all be since that's supposed to be the foundation for the school? I also found out other parents had the same issue with neglecting them in the restroom and withdrew their kids as well. There should be some checks and balances in place and a teacher assigned to ensure kids aren't sitting around in their feces all day. Disgusting. All in all we had a very expensive babysitter. Not the academic excellence we expected and paid for. Nice facility. Amazing teachers in Transition 1 who did the max they could. He became more social and exposed to soccer and taekwondo which he excelled at. He still gets to do them so he's not missing out socially. He learned more at home and has been very persistent with telling us he doesn't want to go back. We may consider other schools in the area who have better systems in place later. For now he's where we known he gets the best care - HOME.

My son is learning things like manners, practical life skills, and academic skills in the Transitions class (with 2 and 3 year olds) and he is thriving at this school. His teachers have all been excellent. His teachers in the Toddler II class (Ms. Nancy and Ms. Salma) were fantastic teachers and were always so patient and kind with the kids. Ms. Satiya and Ms. Ishrath are his current teachers in the Transitions class and I adore them. Ms. Satiya is like the kid-whisperer!! She is the perfect combination of kind, gentle, and strict. Ms. Ishrath helps the kids with their lessons and academic work in the morning and every morning I see every child engaged in what they are doing! While watching the classroom cameras, I observed teachers spending extended periods engaged in conversation with each other instead of actively engaging with and supervising the children. I observed staff members on their phones, a teacher leave the classroom while children remained inside, and a teacher sitting at the desk while there appeared to be very little engagement or instruction taking place. Most concerning to me was watching an older child repeatedly swing at a smaller child while I did not see appropriate intervention from staff. When I arrived to pick up my daughter, I also personally witnessed teachers sitting on the same table where the children were eating their lunch. I saved the video footage documenting what I observed and sent the videos directly to the director. Despite providing that documentation, I have not received any meaningful follow-up regarding the safety and supervision concerns I raised, nor have I received a resolution regarding the full refund I requested. When I requested my refund, I was referred to the school's policy requiring 30 days' notice in order to receive the deposit back and requiring the child to remain enrolled during that notice period. I understand having a 30-day policy for a normal withdrawal, but this was not a normal withdrawal or simply a change of mind. I removed my daughter approximately 3.5 hours into her first day because of what I personally observed. There is absolutely no way I would leave my child in an environment I no longer felt comfortable with for another 30 minutes simply to satisfy a policy, much less another 30 days. What is particularly concerning to me is that the school's own policies also state that staff members are not supposed to be on their phones, yet I have video footage of staff using their phones during the time my daughter was there. I find it difficult to understand how the 30-day policy can be strictly enforced against a parent while the concerns I documented regarding staff conduct and supervision have not been addressed. I believe the circumstances surrounding my daughter's immediate withdrawal should be taken into consideration when determining whether the standard 30-day withdrawal policy applies. My daughter's safety comes before a deposit or tuition payment. I am sharing this experience because other parents deserve to know what I personally observed and how my concerns were handled so they can make their own informed decision about where they leave their children.

We couldn't have made a better choice. As a family, we witnessed firsthand the immense benefits of Montessori education, and especially attending the MHFC. The teachers are highly qualified, and the entire staff is caring and welcoming. The Montessori experience instilled in our daughter a profound appreciation for the value of education. The learning habits she formed at MHFC made her successful and middle school and now in high school. Beyond academics, she gained exposure to different cultures, learned to respect and accept diverse opinions, and build friendships that will last a lifetime. Even after leaving MHFC, our daughter continued to stay connected. During school vacations, she returned to visit and help which classroom chores. Now in high school, she volunteers at MHFC, an opportunity the school gladly offered. This encouragement for alumni involvement reflects on the school's deep care for its students, long after they graduate. MHFC has had a tremendous impact on our lives, and we will be forever grateful to all the teachers and staff who make the school such a special place.

When I reached out to inquire about tuition--just to see if it was even within our budget--I was told that information was only available in person. As someone with a disability, that's a significant barrier. Attending a meeting in person takes a lot of energy and planning, and I didn't feel it was worth going through all of that just to find out if the school was even financially accessible. Accessibility matters deeply to our family, and I expected more flexibility and understanding. After several emails and phone calls with their administrative staff, I honestly felt like I was an inconvenience. The tone was dismissive and a bit snooty, which was disappointing. These aren't the values I'm looking for in a school community. I'm sharing this in case others--especially those with accessibility concerns--find this kind of approach to be a dealbreaker too.
