What a lovely Italian gem this place is. I was after a nice strong coffee and it certainly didn't disappoint. Deep rich coffee with a nice kick, all these flat whites are a bit rubbish down under hut jot this joint. I also had a bread and butter cake, served warm, with a clotted cream. Superb, moist and full of fruity flavour. Other half had a lemon curd cup cake that also was not dry, served warm and hit the spot. To drink she had a fruit salad juice; mango, passion fruit, orange and pineapple from the cooler. $20. Will be back when I'm passing. read more

Our recent visits were breakfast and lunch (not on the same day - please!), and we cannot offer comment on dinner. It's hard to rate this place in comparison with inner city experience; we found it good but not stellar. It's a solid 3.5 star performer, with no pretensions and with good staff. Possibly the best on the Pt Lonsdale Rd strip. read more
