The lack of responsiveness made things unnecessarily difficult. - Cody (Foreman): very pleasant/kind My roof did not pass its first inspection. It was difficult to schedule the first inspection (due to slow response time). Then I also had to schedule the repairs required and re-inspection. The company did not notify me that the roof passed the second inspection and instead stopped responding completely. Multiple attempts were made to contact Great Valley Roofing (Robert), and after many weeks we finally received a call that the roof passed re-inspection. I would give them 1 , however, I am pleased with the end result.

I got estimates from four roofing contractors for this project. Two of them used areal photos to give their estimates (i.e. they never came to the house). One contractor was going to send an employee to do the estimate but then never showed up. Jim not only came himself to do the estimate (at the time and date he said he would), he was there on the job site and involved for the entire project from tearing off the first shingle to hammering in the last roofing nail.

It was in the middle of a rain storm and it was basically raining inside our house due to a leak in the roof, under our solar panels. Ramirez Roofing provided an estimate and then coordinated the fix which required collaborating with a solar contractor to remove then reinstall the panels. They were great at communicating every step of the way, and on the day of the repair, they were here right on time and the work was completed in under 2 hours (this includes removing solar panels, figuring out exactly where the leak was, repairing the leak, and reinstalling the panels). In fact, he was glad to hear that the repairs were covered under warranty.
