Juan Chavez was very responsive during all of the scheduling calls, and Eric Lloyd provided updates every single day during the process. Their communication was much appreciated. We got multiple quotes and NRG was competitively priced, but what they offer was far superior to everyone else we got quotes from. Our new roof and gutters look amazing. I will refer everyone I know to Tom and the rest of the NRG team because they are simply the best.

After the…read morefirst few rains in February, I noticed two areas of leaks in my roof and immediately searched for a local, reputable company. I worked with Johnathan for the initial estimate and he was kind, thorough, and supported me through every phase of the repair. The pricing was reasonable and the crew did a good job. They even found dry rot that needed repairing, which we would have not known, had it not been for their attention to detail. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the repair, but after speaking with Alex directly, another crew was sent the following business day to correct the issue. I would highly recommend working with the business based on their affordability, timely repair, and excellent customer service.

For the last few years, I have watched almost everyone in my neighborhood get their roofs redone,…read moreand a while back one of my neighbors hired Alex Perez Roofing. They stood out. They appeared to be working harder and faster than any other roofing crew I had seen, and they got the job done in 3 or 4 days instead of the typical 5. When I got a letter from my home insurance company stating that they would cancel me if I didn't get a new roof (the same thing has happened to most of my neighbors, I suspect), I called Alex Perez Roofing, plus two other companies for comparison. Alex himself came out, and he spent a long time talking to me and my partner about the job. He answered all of our questions. He didn't have a slick sales presentation like the other two roofing companies that we called. As a former roofer himself, he was more focused on explaining the dynamics and the work of the job, rather than trying to get us to agree to a a top-tier "premium roof package." Unsurprisingly, his bid came in lower than the other two companies I called. In an apples-to-apples comparison (50 year warranty, special venting at the top of the roof line) his company had the best value. His guys showed up on time, worked hard, were very polite, and left the job site clean. On the office side, Alex's staff kept me well-appraised on where we were in the process, and when invoices were due. When additional dry rot was discovered after the roof was pulled off, his office staff emailed me a comprehensive report and photos, and they had a lengthy phone conversation with me about it at my request, ensuring that all of my questions were answered. Alex also dropped by the job site regularly to check on things. The whole crew struck me as honest, regular working people just trying to get the job done, never trying to upsell me on any special packages, warranties, or guarantees. I would recommend them, or at least suggest that you call them out for a bid to compare them with what some of the bigger companies are offering.

Communication was excellent throughout the project--they kept us informed, answered all of our questions, and addressed every concern promptly. The crew was punctual every day and did an outstanding job cleaning up the worksite before leaving. Their attention to detail was especially impressive when repairing several areas of dry rot. The repairs were done with great care, and they even repainted the repaired areas so everything looked finished and seamless. The project passed all inspections, and the final cost matched the original estimate, even with some challenging dry rot repairs. It's clear they take pride in the quality of their work, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. They also cleaned up thoroughly after every single day of work, which we really appreciated. The finished roof looks even better than it did before. I also want to recognize Jose and Adrian. When the inspector required additional work on the roof, Jose took the time to clearly explain the cost differences so we knew exactly what we were paying for and why. I had a lot of questions about the cost breakdown for the sheeting, and it was pretty confusing to me, but Jose was so patient and kept explaining it different ways until it finally clicked. Adrian set us up with our initial consultation and spent over an hour working through pricing with us to get us a great deal.
