There were many leaflets/flyers left at our door but the very first one was Century Roofing. They were the one whom I called first and Nino was very good explaining the process and everything one has to know with regards to getting a new roof. They were in Saturday to get rid of the old roof, then back on a Monday and out on Thursday us having a brand new roof. Nino will do everything to make the whole process easy for us and do what is necessary depending on the needs and what the county inspector says. The whole process of getting a new roof from start to finish was very easy and now we have a brand new roof, thanks to Nino Blanco of Century Roofing!

Our roof was damaged by the last California storm, got multiple quotes and we decided on century cause he (Nino) was easy to talk to, and straight forward on the questions we ask. He gave the best price and best products/materials he could. The guys was respectable on our property and clean after they go. Never make unessesary noise, no one was shouting or laughing loud, just beautiful Latin musics on their radio, just enough volume that it didn't bother us or my neighbors. Its just less that month but we love our new roof. Time will only tell if Century Roofing will hold its warranty, but I know they will be here when that time come. Its been a pleasant transaction from day one to the end. And also we love our new tubular skylight made our dark hallway looks very nice. Thanks Century Roofing and Nino.

I am so happy I found Century Roofing. Our house was in desperate need of a new roof. The existing roof was aging composition and we decided to replace it with a more permanent and fire-resistant metal roof. Right away I discovered that even though there are dozens of roofing companies to choose from, very few offer metal as an option. Even fewer can be considered experts. We knew going in that a metal roof would be substantially more expensive than the normal composition roof. After being disappointed with one company's estimate (they didn't want to strip the existing roof, I was going to have to pull the county permit myself and on top of that it was over-priced), I decided to continue my search. By luck, my searching led me to Century Roofing. At first glance I could tell they seemed like the company I wanted to work with. I decided to call them right away. I spoke with Nino Blanco and very quickly we arranged for him to come out and give an estimate. Nino and his partner Carlos arrived on time on the agreed date to provide the estimate. Nino provided plenty of information while Carlos took measurements of the house and detached garage. During this time I felt assured that Century Roofing knew what they were talking about and had a lot of experience. Nino provided a firm, reasonable estimate and we decided right away to hire them. I was pleased that part of their process was to strip the old roofing material (a must if you ask me--who knows what kind of condition the decking is in?). They also took care of pulling the county permit! Several weeks passed between the estimate and the time to begin the work. This was to be expected as the roofing panels had to be custom ordered. Once the work began, Carlos and his excellent team worked diligently until the job was done. Everyone was very courteous and respectful of the property. The job did take a bit longer than I assumed, but that's OK! The result was amazing. It wasn't a rush job--they took their time to do it right. I highly recommend Century Roofing. Be sure to expect longer time for a metal roof installation--it's just the nature of the job. (The color of the roof panels we chose was "Zinc Gray") Thanks Nino, Carlos (and your helpers!)

About a year ago, I reached out about a potential leak, and Chris came out to assess the roof. He was incredibly honest and mentioned that he couldn't see anything that would lead to a leak. Still, he provided estimates for a partial fix, partial roof repair, and full roof repair. We ended up not needing the service but appreciated the honesty. Fast forward to this year, I reached back out to Chris for another potential leak, and he came out and assessed the situation again. This time, there were noticeable signs of leaks but nothing that was too concerning. He provided quotes for various options, and we felt comfortable moving forward with one of them. After this is where things started to not go as well as we thought. Once we signed the contract, we were issued an invoice for the deposit. As soon as I received it, I paid it the same day (almost within minutes of receiving it). Several days go by, and I don't hear back from the company to schedule our repair. I call the office, and for some odd reason, they cannot find confirmation that I had paid the deposit. I reassured the office that I had, as it was debited from my account, and I offered to forward the receipt and to have my bank verify that it was debited in the amount and to the correct vendor. They issued another invoice for the deposit as I was on the phone trying to dispute this, which was eventually cancelled, but it was a little annoying. After I forwarded the receipt, they scheduled our repair, so I assume they found the paid invoice. As someone who uses Quickbooks for business purposes, this is not something that's hard to track or find. So, I'm very surprised to have run into this situation. The morning of the scheduled repair, we received an email that said the crew would not be showing up. We were surprised because we did not receive prior notification that this was going to happen. My husband had scheduled his work week around this, so that he could be available for any questions or concerns. When we called the office, they said that they had called and left a voicemail, which we confirmed that we did not receive. They did, however, look back at their records and said they had misdialed and apologized. Again, for something that was last minute, we were annoyed again. On the day of the repair, Chris texted us, notifying us that we may be charged an extra $500 because their truck couldn't fit in our driveway. This was incredibly frustrating because that was not something he or the company mentioned would be an issue. In fact, Brad came out prior to install to inspect the old roof, measured our driveway, and even left his tape measure in the driveway! We called Chris and expressed our frustration at this, and he apologized and said they wouldn't charge us for this. If there were structural issues outside of what they initially found, I would understand, but when they clearly measured our driveway and left evidence of that and failed to notify us of this, that's a different story. Per the multiple project emails sent to us, there was to be a walkthrough and inspection from the crew's manager the day after they finished the roof installation to ensure the work was to our satisfaction. This did not happen, nor did anyone reach out to us to schedule this. Instead, we were immediately issued an invoice for the remainder. We had noticed several areas that looked very sloppy (I assumed this would be the case given the crew seemed very rushed by the end of the day and diminishing sunlight), so we called the office to have someone come out to walk through and inspect the finished work before we were willing to make our final payment. Brad came out and noticed the same issues that we had, and he took his time to get those areas fixed, which we appreciated. Overall, we are happy with a new roof. However, all of these little things made our experience not as great as we would've expected for the amount of money we invested.

American Eagle Roofing & Gutters aka Roof Geeks, Mr. Roof and Solar (These names are just SHELL COMPANIES owned by the same parent entity/company with multiple owners). They installed a NEW roofing system on our property in 2023. It started leaking in 2025. When we first contacted them for warranty repairs, they refused to honor the 5-year workmanship warranty, citing unpaid late fees. When we filed a claim with their Surety Bond, American Eagle Roofing then claimed the leak is not a leak, but a ventilation issue. Then later, they said they are no associated with the original contractor. They kept changing their stories from, "No Warranty due to Unpaid Balance" to "a Ventilation Issue" to "No Longer Associated with the Original Contractor." They have tried multiple tactics to avoid warranty. Cannot trust a company that behave this way. Updated from 5 Stars to 1 Star due to the business using dodgy tactics to avoid workmanship warranty on a leaky roofing system.

I worked with Johnathan for the initial estimate and he was kind, thorough, and supported me through every phase of the repair. The pricing was reasonable and the crew did a good job. They even found dry rot that needed repairing, which we would have not known, had it not been for their attention to detail. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the repair, but after speaking with Alex directly, another crew was sent the following business day to correct the issue. I would highly recommend working with the business based on their affordability, timely repair, and excellent customer service.

After evaluating some other quotes, we decided to go with Alex's company. From that time on, Alex and crew did a fine job. They scheduled a time for the work, arrived on time, and did a superb job fixing our roof and cleaning the gutters. We believe they went above and beyond what they estimated they would do to make our roof water-tight. Once the work was completed, we found one of our gutters was leaking a lot of water after a torrential downpour. I let Alex know, and he immediately sent one of his men back to fix the issue. Overall, Alex Perez's Roofing did a stellar job with our roof. I have one suggestion for the improvement: Alex should improve his post-work processes. When I asked Alex for a receipt of the work, he said yes. But I never got it. So, I had to call his office a few times. The first time, the office manager didn't reply. The second time, she sent the wrong receipt showing just the initial deposit. The third time, she sent the right receipt showing the final zero balance. In sum, we highly recommend Alex Perez's Roofing for their professional work. If it hadn't been for all the times we had to contact them to get the receipt, we would have given them five stars.
