Dussault delivered our belongings and they had no regard for our furniture or other items. We looked at our dining room set that they delivered and it has a big chunk out of it and it is scrapped on the side. The filing cabinet they put in my office, has big scratches and gouges on it. We marked our boxes with stickers showing if the items in it were fragile or heavy. They carelessly placed fragile items on the bottom and heavy on top. One box that had decorations in it to hang on our front door for various events was on the bottom and the box was crushed!!! We initially thought about hiring them when we moved all of our things to the new home but decided to go with someone else. All I can say is THANK GOD WE DID or we would have more things trashed or ruined. If you're moving, DON'T use Dussault Moving, you'll be sorry if you do!!!

My parents were helping my wife and I move when Tom showed up to our apartment. From the very beginning he had an anger problem with my mom. I told him that I wasn't sure what was said on the phone but my mom's father had just been put in hospice so take her with a grain of salt. While in the apartment he was barking orders, and being rough with our belongings. One of the things he asked to do we did, but while doing it he continued to exasperate the situation by not letting go of the subject. When I asked him if we could just drop the subject and move forward he lost it; refusing to move us at this point. Tom brought what had been taken to the truck and brought it back to the apartment as if he was dropping off garbage. He continuously dropped the "F-Bomb" even telling my elderly father, "F@#! You!" He also shouted that he's an American. He also let us know that he has been with the company for 16 years and that they would side with him over a customer. The owner ended up sending out new guys, one of which was Tom's partner to begin with. His name is Eddie...super nice guy! He even apologized for Tom's behavior. Eddie and the guy he came with, Dre (?) are the reason I am giving two stars instead of just one. If I talked to my customers even a tenth of the way Tom spoke to my family and I, then I would be unemployed. It is very sad that there are good people looking for work and yet a man like this still has a job. One day he is going to talk this way to the wrong person and they aren't going have it and he will probably be shot as a result.

Upon unloading, I see that numerous issues were at hand (pictures attached): * Marble table placed on top of TV (Stored on top of an upside down table / legs). * Multiple items stores in position never intended. * Large pieces of furniture resting (bouncing) against Living Room TV. * Christmas boxes placed on bottom of stack (crushed). * Fragile antiques placed on bottom on stack of heavy boxes. * Multiple items not wrapped (despite having left over moving blankets now have dings & scratched that could have been avoided). * Wood able that had so much weight on it, screws stripped out and wobbles. * Broken Kitchen Chair. * Workbench (loaded) placed sideways and belongs inside just bouncing all over. * NOTHING tied down. They were in such a hurry to finish the job that they loaded in such a shoddy way, there was no way that this could arrive without significant damage (in hindsight). After I removed my review, the owner contacted me asking if I had an issue with their work. I sent him pictures and no response. If they respond to this, please don't let them sweet talk you into using them. These guys are shoddy. To add insult, to injury - I tipped these guys quite well. I thought I was hiring pro's to handle my move. I got a bunch of guys throwing stuff into a PODS that simply did not care what kind of shape it was in once it arrived to it's end location. They moved me from Lakewood to Fairview Park, Ohio, at a speedy rate, but were very cautious and professional. I was given a time range and they arrived within it friendly and ready to go. Prior to the move, they called a couple of times to confirm locations, prices and optional add-on's. They were able to supply me with a cover for my mattress (that I got to keep!) and proper care for some more fragile items. I was absolutely blown away by their help! Thanks again guys.

I would NOT recommend this moving company…read more The move started out well. They arrived on time and initially seemed professional. Unfortunately, things went downhill quickly. First, the movers started putting items on the truck that I had clearly set aside to throw away, including a dryer. After loading things that weren't supposed to be moved, they then told me they were running out of room on the truck. Once we arrived at the new place, the pace became extremely slow. There were four movers, but at times it seemed like only one person was actually going back and forth upstairs and putting furniture back together. I was told they were using a "chain line," but whatever system they were using was not efficient. The move ended up taking two hours longer than expected, which added approximately $500 to my bill. Even worse, they broke my daughter's TV, which she had only owned for about four months. When I tried to file a claim, I repeatedly called and was told that a manager would contact me. I kept speaking with the same person, John, who would act surprised each time that no manager had called me back. Eventually, they stopped answering my calls altogether. As we've continued unpacking, we've discovered another serious issue. The TV stand had been taped closed with belongings inside of it, but when it arrived at the new place, those items were missing and the TV stand was empty. My biggest problem isn't just that things went wrong during the move--it's the company's lack of accountability afterward. Items were damaged, other belongings appear to be missing, my bill increased by hundreds of dollars because of the additional time, and my attempts to resolve the issues have been ignored. Based on my experience, I would not use this company again and cannot recommend them. If something gets damaged or goes missing, don't expect them to make the claims process easy or to take responsibility.

When I asked Kelvin to move a Hamilton studio upright piano from Elyria to Euclid, Ohio ( a 30-mile…read moretrip) he gave me a very reasonable $350 quote. I hesitated a bit, thinking that maybe they would not have enough movers, so he then said he would be sure to have 4 men, but requested $400. That was still very reasonable, much less than other movers I called. He arrived a week later with the truck, 3 other men, many straps to keep the piano stable in the truck. What amazed me was that he then proceeded to wrap my 60-year old piano in plastic, further protecting it from damage. The men were super polite, and they made the transport within an hour, moving into my friend's home flawlessly. I highly recommend this outstanding team! Just one more item: I did prepare a written contract with the agreed-upon quote and delivery address. Kelvin gladly signed it, keeping his copy and returning mine. This gave me peace of mind that I might not have had otherwise when hiring someone I did not know. We hired them last minute after we had an issue with the moving company we had. They got back to us in 20 mins after my initial text close to midnight. They showed up on time and they arrived to Buffalo on the o'clock as they promised. We moved out at least 7 times in the last 10 yrs and advanced company by far was THE BEST.
