Excellent Customer Service that alleviates moving day stress! We selected Eyring based upon the customer reviews we read on Google and Yelp, and we were not disappointed. The drivers arrived on time and immediately began to get to work. 3 1/2 hours later our 5-bedroom home contents were headed down the road in two trucks. The delivery went as smoothly, and the guys were respectful of our property, taking care not to damage or soil our new home. We had a couple of minor follow up issues that Brian Yarham, VP at the company, addressed quickly and professionally, including coming to our home on two separate occasions to ensure resolution. Eyring Movers moved us on February 25th from our townhouse in Avon Lake to our newly constructed house in North Ridgeville. The 3 guys Dan, LT and Keywan showed up right on time, put out padding for the entry doors and floor protection. Super friendly and 3 of the hardest and strongest guys I've ever seen. Moved us to the new house in 3 and half hours and into the new house in 90 minutes. Put away everything where it belonged, not a dent inside the house after they were gone. My wife said it was the best money we ever spent. Can't say enough great things about the 3 guys. They constantly asked if there was anything else they could do for us. We were looking for a local company to help us move our daughter's belongings. The distance from her current place and her new home was about 4 miles. I called several moving companies. I was very impressed with Eyring Movers. The woman answering their phone was pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful, There was no hard sell or pushy tactics, unlike some other companies. The price she quoted us was well within our price range. There were no add-ons for fuel or mileage. No padding the bill. An easy to understand contract was emailed to us and we arranged a date that was convenient for us. On moving day, two very polite young men arrived right on time, They introduced themselves and got to work. They were very careful with my daughter's belongings and packed the large truck expertly. At our daughter's new home, the truck was unloaded quickly due to the rain. Everything was carried carefully up the 2 flights of stairs. The movers asked where every box and piece of furniture went and then placed it exactly as requested. They were done in no time! This was our first experience hiring movers- we were very impressed. We used Eyring to move from Ohio to PA. They did a great job of detailing the estimate, explaining the options, and making sure we understood the process. The packing took a day, they took another day to load, and day three was the move/unload. All went according to plan. Each employee we dealt with was helpful and professional. I was checking Yelp about another moving company, one that my family has used many times in the past, and wasn't thrilled reading their reviews. But one reviewer said she wished she'd bypassed that mover and gone with Eyring. So I checked out Eyring. Eyring's price was much better than other quotes I got, and they were available the day I needed. I was concerned because Avon Lake is a long drive to my location, but their travel time is included in the flat rate for the truck, the crew's hourly clock starts when they arrive at your house. I can't say enough great things about the three-man crew; they were hardworking, efficient, respectful, and careful with our boxes and furniture. I needed a large piece of furniture moved in my house. I called Eyring and they quickly came to my home within 48-hours. The 2 movers were polite and efficient. The furniture was moved but I overlooked the fact that the area rug was not moved and was still partially stuck under the cabinet. Great experience with my move. I had a 3 br apt on the 7th floor at the end of a hallway and the guys still were able to come in under the time quoted. They were professional and courteous as well as gentle with my things. Sam and Gary were out movers and they were very personable as well. I couldn't have asked for a better crew. We were quite happy with our experience hiring Eyring Movers. They packed and moved us from rocky river oh to Nashville Tennessee. We did a good amount of prepacking ourselves but mostly books and storage items. They packed The kitchen, dining area all closets, living room family room lamps, Wall art and decor, etc. they did quite a bit of extra packing that was not considered in the original quote and yet our final bill was only a couple hundred dollars more than what we were quoted for our move. We had between 14,000 and 15,000 pounds of furniture and effects on the truck. They packed it in one day, loaded the truck another day and two guys unloaded everything into our new home in one day. For the most part all of the workers involved in our move were clean-cut and professional and very hard-working. The conditions of our homes was exactly as it was before they came to move us... No scratches on the hardwood floors or dings and gashes on the walls or woodwork from moving furniture and nothing came out broken or damaged from the move. The only criticism is that we would have is that some of our clothing that went into wardrobe boxes came out extremely wrinkly after unpacking... And also the one dude who packed our kitchen and dining room overlooked three complete cabinets of items but we were able to notice that and get the stuff moved before was too late. We also let the owner know that that had happened and he responded that we should all be double checking everything just to be safe. we ended up paying them $8600 and we thought that was a great price. We would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others. read more

I was amazed and grateful at every step of the way, from my initial consultations with Cheryl to itemize my assets and set my moving schedule, to the team picking up my boxes in a small condo in downtown DC (a 1941 building with a three-story walk up on a narrow street), to final delivery at my new home in an apartment in Ohio at the very end of a long hallway. The ultimate cost was less than I expected, especially considering the unique move, the value they brought me, and the low stress experience. This company was recommended by our realtor. Unpacking we discovered several items broken. The packing could have been better. We packed our delicates and moved them ourselves. Thank goodness we did this or these items would have been broken. Some damage was done to our wooden floors by Eyring as items were moved into our new home. We had our exercise equipment in their storage unit and discovered our weights had rust on them and wonder if there was moisture in their storage units. These weights had no trace of rust on them before the move. After we totaled the items Eyring damaged we received a reimbursement check. They made good on all their damages, but I would hesitate to recommend or use them again. read more
