Really excellent moving company! Initial representative who evaluated job was personable and to the point, also very responsive to email queries prior to move. Two day process: packing team of two then moving team of 4, including initial packing duo. Arrived on time both days, very attentive to fragile furniture and art objects, never stopped working until process completed. Also, all 4 were friendly, upbeat, reassuring, and uncomplaining despite the challenges of small doorways, narrow service elevators, and and the need to unload inconveniently far from building service entrance. I remain very grateful. read more

Good company and they also pack for you! Definitely someone you should think about using!

This was NOT a pleasant experience! I am semi-handicap and getting someone to come out and explain what options I had to have someone HELP me pack have have been easier. But since I (I guess) had a small home, I wasn't worth the effort! 1. I had NO help till the end 2. They "carefully " wrapped....rocks, pads of paper, plastic boxes, and metal cookware with MORE paper than I've ever seen! 3. The dishes I had already bubble wrapped they put one piece of paper on. 4. They put ALL the kitchen boxes DOWN in the basement in my new house so I had to HIRE a local mover to come bring the boxes UPSTAIRS! 5. I used them to transport my vehicle. Oh Lord, that was an experience to say the least! The moving company took my car to their warehouse and the transport company called me to say they were at MY house. What?? I gave them the address to the moving company (did I mention Eyring movers contracted with them?). They got to the moving company and called ME to say they were out front. What? I had to call Eyring to notify them the transport company was out in FRONT OF THEIR office. "Eyring isn't going to use them again ". Oh gee wonderful. I am NOT referring anyone to use Eyring! They charged me a LOT of money and I got a LOT of stress and headaches from the whole ordeal! read more

great company with great people! They were great at communicating and organizing everything I needed for our move. highly recommend!

They have rescued us twice. Always so accommodating and reasonable. Help us out after the tornado blew through. Thank so.

While we started off on the wrong foot, a "computer error" sent us a quote that was sky high, I ended up using them apprehensively. Needed to move my disabled brother 1/2 mile to a new home. Our crew was fantastic!!!! We made my 2 hour timeframe on loading and unloading with 15 minutes to spare. Everyone was professional and worked quickly to get him moved. I would definitely use them again, I would verify any quote first.... read more

Excellent Customer Service that alleviates moving day stress! We selected Eyring based upon the customer reviews we read on Google and Yelp, and we were not disappointed. The drivers arrived on time and immediately began to get to work. 3 1/2 hours later our 5-bedroom home contents were headed down the road in two trucks. The delivery went as smoothly, and the guys were respectful of our property, taking care not to damage or soil our new home. We had a couple of minor follow up issues that Brian Yarham, VP at the company, addressed quickly and professionally, including coming to our home on two separate occasions to ensure resolution. He is the consummate professional and is reason enough for a no-hesitation recommendation! read more

Eyring Movers moved us on February 25th from our townhouse in Avon Lake to our newly constructed house in North Ridgeville. The 3 guys Dan, LT and Keywan showed up right on time, put out padding for the entry doors and floor protection. Super friendly and 3 of the hardest and strongest guys I've ever seen. Moved us to the new house in 3 and half hours and into the new house in 90 minutes. Put away everything where it belonged, not a dent inside the house after they were gone. My wife said it was the best money we ever spent. Can't say enough great things about the 3 guys. They constantly asked if there was anything else they could do for us. We give them 6 stars and would use them again in a heartbeat. If you are looking for a great professional moving company you can't do any better. read more

Can't say enough about this company. Used them for 3 moves and 2 they squeezed us in when everyone else (including them) were giving 6 week out delivery schedule times. They try their best to accommodate your schedule. The guys they employ are the best!! I would hire them in an instant. Luckily, they take good care of their employees. which shows in the care they take moving your items. Very highly recommend! read more

We were looking for a local company to help us move our daughter's belongings. The distance from her current place and her new home was about 4 miles. I called several moving companies. I was very impressed with Eyring Movers. The woman answering their phone was pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful, There was no hard sell or pushy tactics, unlike some other companies. The price she quoted us was well within our price range. There were no add-ons for fuel or mileage. No padding the bill. An easy to understand contract was emailed to us and we arranged a date that was convenient for us. On moving day, two very polite young men arrived right on time, They introduced themselves and got to work. They were very careful with my daughter's belongings and packed the large truck expertly. At our daughter's new home, the truck was unloaded quickly due to the rain. Everything was carried carefully up the 2 flights of stairs. The movers asked where every box and piece of furniture went and then placed it exactly as requested. They were done in no time! This was our first experience hiring movers- we were very impressed. We were happy to support a business in our home town of Avon Lake, We would call them again in a heartbeat. read more

We moved on Tuesday 7/2/19 and are very grateful for Eyring Movers. Jesse, Devon and Dan were top notch. They were friendly, polite, efficient, skilled and very careful with our things. The total cost was directly in line with their quote and reasonable compared to the competition. There was a slight issue with our freezer door (lost bracket) and Brian was there the next morning to take care of it. I would highly recommend Eyring movers. Great job guys! read more

We used Eyring to move from Ohio to PA. They did a great job of detailing the estimate, explaining the options, and making sure we understood the process. The packing took a day, they took another day to load, and day three was the move/unload. All went according to plan. Each employee we dealt with was helpful and professional. We didn't lose anything, nothing was broken, and they got every box in the right spot. I have since referred them to a few friends and they have all had great experiences as well. read more

I was checking Yelp about another moving company, one that my family has used many times in the past, and wasn't thrilled reading their reviews. But one reviewer said she wished she'd bypassed that mover and gone with Eyring. So I checked out Eyring. Eyring's price was much better than other quotes I got, and they were available the day I needed. I was concerned because Avon Lake is a long drive to my location, but their travel time is included in the flat rate for the truck, the crew's hourly clock starts when they arrive at your house. I can't say enough great things about the three-man crew; they were hardworking, efficient, respectful, and careful with our boxes and furniture. It was ballet-graceful watching how they ducked and spun around and through the doorways. I recommend them without reservation. read more

I cannot say enough about this mover everything from setting up the move to the,day of the move was very professional. They called about thirty minutes before arriving and thecarrived when they said they would. The two movers were very professional and courteous to us and very helpful. We both are confined to walkers crew went out of there way to help us during the move. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any f my friends who were in need of a short move or a long distant move. I will say more company's should follow in the manner this company deals with there customers. AAAA+ read more

I needed a large piece of furniture moved in my house. I called Eyring and they quickly came to my home within 48-hours. The 2 movers were polite and efficient. The furniture was moved but I overlooked the fact that the area rug was not moved and was still partially stuck under the cabinet. I called Eyring and they quickly sent a man over to replace the area rug at no extra charge! I will definitely use them in the future. They were worth the cost! read more

I wouldn't trust any other company with a move. The team of 2 men were professional and respectful of both the home and my belongings. never stopped working and got the job done in record time. Everyone I dealt with in the company was quick to respond and so nice and easy to work with. It was a perfect move. Highly Recommend! read more

Great experience with my move. I had a 3 br apt on the 7th floor at the end of a hallway and the guys still were able to come in under the time quoted. They were professional and courteous as well as gentle with my things. Sam and Gary were out movers and they were very personable as well. I couldn't have asked for a better crew. The office staff and their site which allows you to tell them what is being moved so you can get a quote were easy to use and work with. read more

Eyring was great on our local move! They made the process easy every step of the way. You could tell they take pride in their work, which really gave us peace of mind. Everything arrived at our new home safely... can't ask for much more! I've referred them to friends and they've had great experiences as well (one on a cross country move). I don't plan on moving anytime soon, but Eyring will definitely be getting a call from us again if we do. read more

This company made my move a great experience. The crew was very professional as well as personable. They were very knowledgeable on how to disassemble and reassemble the beds. We were very impressed with their attention to detail and how quickly they completed the move. I can't say enough about what a great job they did in moving us to Columbus. They were truly a pleasure to work with. read more

This company was recommended by our realtor. Unpacking we discovered several items broken. The packing could have been better. We packed our delicates and moved them ourselves. Thank goodness we did this or these items would have been broken. Some damage was done to our wooden floors by Eyring as items were moved into our new home. We had our exercise equipment in their storage unit and discovered our weights had rust on them and wonder if there was moisture in their storage units. These weights had no trace of rust on them before the move. After we totaled the items Eyring damaged we received a reimbursement check. They made good on all their damages, but I would hesitate to recommend or use them again. read more

We were quite happy with our experience hiring Eyring Movers. They packed and moved us from rocky river oh to Nashville Tennessee. We did a good amount of prepacking ourselves but mostly books and storage items. They packed The kitchen, dining area all closets, living room family room lamps, Wall art and decor, etc. they did quite a bit of extra packing that was not considered in the original quote and yet our final bill was only a couple hundred dollars more than what we were quoted for our move. We had between 14,000 and 15,000 pounds of furniture and effects on the truck. They packed it in one day, loaded the truck another day and two guys unloaded everything into our new home in one day. For the most part all of the workers involved in our move were clean-cut and professional and very hard-working. The conditions of our homes was exactly as it was before they came to move us... No scratches on the hardwood floors or dings and gashes on the walls or woodwork from moving furniture and nothing came out broken or damaged from the move. The only criticism is that we would have is that some of our clothing that went into wardrobe boxes came out extremely wrinkly after unpacking... And also the one dude who packed our kitchen and dining room overlooked three complete cabinets of items but we were able to notice that and get the stuff moved before was too late. We also let the owner know that that had happened and he responded that we should all be double checking everything just to be safe. we ended up paying them $8600 and we thought that was a great price. We would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others. read more

The Eyring team made moving as stress free as possible. In fact, I had no idea the process could be so seamless and pain free. I was amazed and grateful at every step of the way, from my initial consultations with Cheryl to itemize my assets and set my moving schedule, to the team picking up my boxes in a small condo in downtown DC (a 1941 building with a three-story walk up on a narrow street), to final delivery at my new home in an apartment in Ohio at the very end of a long hallway. The ultimate cost was less than I expected, especially considering the unique move, the value they brought me, and the low stress experience. Finally, the teams were very positive, professional, careful, thorough, and had pretty good senses of humor. I highly recommend Eyring for local or long-distance moves. read more
