That being said, in this instance I had no idea where I was going to get exactly what I wanted for wedding rings. I went online to inquire with some jewelers, emailed 5 or so and only ever heard back from Kimiya jewelers. They are in New York, I am in California and so visiting the store was never going to happen. Scary task. I can't recommend these folks enough. I only ever spoke with Caitlin and only through email. That being said, customer service was top notch, there were over a dozen emails back and forth through the process and all were timely and professional. I got the rings a few days ago and they are perfect. You won't be disappointed with Kimiya, enjoy.

After months of going back and forth via email and delayed shipment to my residence on the West Coast I found myself having to come in-person this week. I was told by one of the Reps that my necklace would be done by Sunday 12/16 just for me to walk in this morning 12/17 to the necklace not being touched. I am in the shop as I type this waiting for my necklace to be serviced. 5 months and over $600 later I am still unsure if my necklace will be what I've desired for so long. Extremely unfortunate, especially since I make it a point to support women owned, small businesses. Beautiful work, terrible costumer service and huge lack of communication on all ends. Writing this review to hopefully have Kimiya do better since I believe their work is beautiful and unique.

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to deal with Alto Music online. The personalized…read moreservice felt like a neighborhood store where you knew the employees. I ordered a YSS-875EXHGS soprano sax from them because their pricing was very competitive. I used the chat function to ask a question, and received an email from one of their staff, Victoria. Victoria personally helped me through the process, and walked the sax down to shipping herself to make sure I would receive it quickly. I did not feel like I was dealing with a large multi outlet store online a continent away (I am in Hawaii, Alto Music is in New York), I was dealing with a specific person that wanted to make sure I had a good purchase experience. The sax that I received had some manufacturing issues. Victoria quickly made good with the return and worked through ordering a replacement sax, and made sure I got it as soon as possible. Victoria was personable and extremely responsive to my emails. Based on my purchase experience, I highly recommend Alto Music. It is a first class operation.
