Anthony Robert Jewelers - Jewelry Near Me - Nanuet, New York

A family run outfit I have dealt with on and off for 20 some yrs when I lived in the area. Large or small, cheap or expensive-they have it. The people there are knowledgable about their products, and if they don't have it--they will get it. BTW--P.S. Since I now live in NC, I do go elsewhere sometimes, but when it comes to a special item I call them. Hoping some day the owners might retire here. Then-no more worries about who I am dealing with. read more

When my then boyfriend and I decided we'd be getting married, my first and only stop was at Anthony Robert. I felt super overwhelmed as I know NOTHING about rings. Anthony could see this and was patient and took his time to explain cut, clarity, color, etc. Because of kind heart and welcoming personality I knew I wanted my engagement ring and wedding bands from there. You don't get customer service like they provide anywhere else. Everyone at Anthony Robert makes you feel like family. Anthony is truly perfect. I'm so happy I found him, I'll only be buying from him. Thank you Anthony for always being so kind and loving. You truly are one of a kind. read more

Amazing jewelers with great knowledge. Very personable and really helped me pick out a beautiful engagement ring. They were all so easy going and patient with every step of the process. I was presented with over 10 different diamonds in the style I wanted and they showed me which ones were of better quality by comparing each diamond next to each other, which I thought was really cool. Also, after I decided on a diamond I couldn't pick the ring up for over 2 months and they held it for me with no questions asked. They custom made the ring for me with a special setting I wanted and it came out beautiful! When I picked up the ring, they welcomed me with a nice bottle of champagne for the proposal, a bottle of jewelry cleaner, and multiple options for how I could hold the ring like a really nice handmade zippered pouch in case the box would have been too bulky in my clothes. They made every step of the process so simple and easy! I would highly recommend this jeweler to anyone! Thank you Anthony Roberts jewelers! read more

My wife and family love jewelry and we, as well as the rest of our family and friends, have been dealing with Anthony and Robert Jewelers for many, many years. We find them to be honest with their customers, quality is excellent and selection is beyond! They have done beautiful designs with some of my wife's older jewelry and always happy with the finished product. We highly recommend them. Hal Zenenberg read more

My boyfriend bought me a necklace for Christmas. After a few wears, I noticed that the necklace was defective and often spun around do to poor link placement revealing the prongs instead of the shiny stone. Being that I live in the city, and that it was the holiday season, it was difficult to go back to the store right away. When we did go, the store was closed for a week (due to the holiday season). When I did finally get into the store, the owner admitted that the necklace was defective and sent it back to the manufacturer. I think they ended up sending necklaces back and forth about three times because all of them had the same defect! Eventually, they asked that I come in to pick out something else. Frankly, nothing else caught my eye and was EXTREMELY overpriced for costume jewelry. I asked if he could simply get a refund and they said no and that a store credit was all that they could do. I am very dissatisfied with the level of service and poor quality of the item they sold. I would not recommend this jeweler to anyone. There are so many better options out there. Find someone else. UPDATE- after seeing this review, I was contacted by one of the owners and was offered a full refund. It was about a year later and I was asked to update my review here, but ultimately they did the right thing. read more

Absolutely the best Jeweler around! They have the best selection, fresh styles and great service. Simply cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff there. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Really honest and reasonably priced. You would be making a huge mistake to go anywhere else in Rockland. read more

Doesn't look like much from outside but the moment I came in I was treated with great hospitality. They didn't try to undermine me and they respected my budget right down to the dollar. They have a great selection and were able to find me exactly what I was looking for. I will most likely be using them for any future jeweler needs. read more

Honest, nice, helpful people. Been going here for years for repairs and to buy new items.

I've gone to Anthony Robert Jewelers for years. The quality of the jewelry and the service provided is excellent. I lived in Tappan for 16 years and was a regular customer of Anthony Robert Jewelry. I bought a pair of diamond earrings for 3,500.00. My husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2008 and We sold our house and left Rockland. I lost 1 earring and went to my jeweler in NYC to see if the remaining 1 could be reproduced. When he looked through the loop he told me the "diamond was glass" I was very upset that I had been ripped off but grateful that I had only lost a glass stone. They aren't trustworthy. I always dealt with Anthony. What else can I say. I spent multiple thousands of dollars at this business. I guess greed knows no bounds. Be careful. read more

As someone who wanted to get their future wife the ring she has always wanted but at the same time knew very little about jewelry, Athony Robert Jewelers was exactly what I needed. Robert (Bob) taught me a lot about picking that oh so special diamond that made her scream, "Yes!" The entire staff was a pleasure to speak to every time I walked through the door. Even after comparison shopping, there really was no comparison. I went back to Anthony Robert. Going back for a few alterations after the big proposal with my fiancee was a cinch. I strongly suggest anyone who is like me to stop by Anthony Robert Jewelers. read more

I have been a customer of Anthony Robert Jewelers for over 20 years and had to write in and say once again what exceptional service I have had here. I was shocked to see some of the other reviews but this has definitely NOT been my experience. From engagement rings that my family has purchased to diamond studs and everything in between, I have gotten a quality product at a fair price. I recently went in for a gift and they were able to custom make exactly what I wanted from a photo. It was beautifully made and the quality was excellent! People often write when they have a bad experience but I wanted to write and say Thank You! read more

My experience with Anthony Robert Jewelers was (and continues to be) an absolute pleasure. Proposing is stressful enough as it is. They made sure that getting the ring just right didn't add to it, working with me to make sure I received exactly what I was looking for. By the way, she said "yes!" Just this past week my fiance and I stopped by to discuss wedding bands with them, and we were once again met with the courtesy, expertise, and professionalism that I have come to expect from Anthony Robert Jewelers. There's no reason to go anywhere else. read more

I went here to sell some jewelry but I got a way better vibe down the street at Mamari who matched what I was quoted and were warm and welcoming. The staff here was clueless about the deal they have on here for a free watch battery replacement and said it was the first they were hearing of it so I guess they don't check the yelp page for where they work? This was a bit of a turn off for me and I thought their confused reaction was somewhat unprofessional. I had brought in my moms Michele watch for the battery to be replaced, unbeknownst to me that it's an expensive piece for I have limited knowledge on jewelry, and one of the women went on and on to explain about how they send it back to Michele and whatever but I said a few times that it was my mothers watch and that if she didn't want me to leave it there then thats what was going to happen because she would rather go to her token jeweler. She thought maybe I could accomplish it on my trip but it was no big deal. I felt I was being lectured (perhaps because I am decades younger than them) and that they were just babbling on. There was nothing to convince me of. I had not asked for additional info. Not ideal. The place is huge and looked clean but I didnt really look around. Also the name of this yelp page is different than the sign on the business itself so that was confusing when I was trying to find it. read more

I was introduced to ARJ by my close friend when I was in need of a special gift for my disabled son's nurse. Anthony took great care to help me select and stay within my budget. So impressed, I wandered around the counter and came across the beautiful diamond collection. I had wanted to re-set my own engagement ring for many years but never felt confident with jewelers to take the time to help me get to what I really wanted. Bob and Anthony not only had patience but earned my trust. They never "sold" me or told me something was "perfect" for me when they could see it wasn't quite what I was looking for- they kept going. I own pieces from Graff and Tiffany and have never received the time and attention we received in designing my custom ring setting. Bob worked with Uneek designs long distance to deliver what had lived only in my imagination. My husband was thrilled to present it to me and after 24 years, he even got on one knee in front of everyone in the store to present my new ring. I couldn't be happier. And my husband now has a new place to shop! ;) Thank you Bob and Anthony. read more
