This pumpkin patch w just opened yesterday on 9/27. My family went today 9/28 and it was an awesome experience. Why you ask? Online it still showed as not being open therefore no crowds or long lines. My grands were able to ride all they wanted. We literally walked up to the entrance of the ride, they were measured and admitted. Admission was cheap. Adults $5 and my grands free as they're under 3. To top our afternoon off, the kids had shaved ice at the Kona ice truck and my son and I shared strawberry funnel cake. Fun afternoon! read more

I've been going here for several years! I love it, but I don't go here for pumpkins bc they're overpriced. But it's a fun night out for a couple or a family! There's cute photo ops, carnival style rides and games (but those are extra charges), and a selection of food vendors. I always get funnel cake! It's not a 5-star experience. Brought my 8yo and 5yo here yesterday. I thought the entry price was decent if you go all out and take nice memorable pictures here. Adults $5, kids 4-12 $3 and younger is free. Everything else is so expensive, you have to expect to spend a lot of money going to the pumpkin patch to have the kids enjoy the full experience. They are going to want to do everything! my family has been coming to pa's ever since i was a baby, its almost tradition now. so many great pumpkins of all colors, sizes, shapes to choose from, lots of rides and games for the little ones, and the best food! pops is always on top of my list and this year they have a new food vendor called Mimi's Kitchen, they're sooooo good! i really enjoyed all the food i got from there and my chicago style popcorn from pops right next door! also they have a new poppin tea boba vendor right next to mimi's kitchen!!!! my 3 favorite spots right next to each other. This was my first time visiting this pumpkin patch after hearing great things from previous years I finally decided to give it a try. The kiosk where I bought my wristband didn't print, so I tracked down an employee, who then brought Claudia to help. She kept asking for the last four digits of my card, even though I gave her the info multiple times. Her tone felt patronizing, as if she was questioning my honesty. Even after showing my receipt, it took nearly 15 minutes to resolve. Luckily, it wasn't crowded, so my children enjoyed all the rides, and we took some great pictures. However, the hay was slippery, and my daughter fell. While the entrance fee is affordable, the ride tickets could be better priced. read more

We went today and it was a horrible experience despite the pumpkin patch looking fun. First of tickets for rides are insanely expensive but whatever we bought them since we were there and we saw their height requirements and it has some for our toddler but complete LIES. When you go to the actual ride they tell you no and ALL the rides have a 3 foot requirement. They didnt even let her on the kids train on top of that staff are rude. I asked a staff member if i could ride with my toddler and she responded with "DOES IT LOOK LIKE YOU FIT OR WHAT?" After we tried getting a refund because our toddler couldnt get on anything fyi our toddler reached 30" requirement that made her eligible for a few rides they told us no. Took our son here for his first pumpkin patch experience, and he enjoyed it. A lot of their attractions are for older kids, so we only looked at pumpkins/corn and went to the petting zoo. If you like the carnival feel, you'll enjoy this place. There are bounce houses and rides for the young kids. The downside is that each ride needs tickets. The tickets are very expensive. I believe it was 10 tickets for about $22. The train costs 4 tickets. Each slide is 1 ticket for one slide down. With kids, they usually don't tell you exactly what they want to go on so you have no idea how many tickets you need. As a parent of young kids, we'll be skipping Pa's carnival. I'd rather take my kids to an amusement park (like Adventure City) for kiddie rides. I prefer to visit actual pumpkin patches in October. read more

We have been going to Pa's Pumpkin patch for years now but it is Not the same since the move from Long Beach to Lakewood. Rides and jumpers are very limited. The 30 ticket wristbands are $55 and they start to close down jumpers and games more than 10 minutes before closing times. Staff is also very rude. Will not be coming back. read more

Yes I do agree that charging us to enter is a little much which is why I didn't give it 5 stars, but the person who I wanted to have fun HAD fun! We went to the pumpkin patch twice this year and a lot has changed. You now need a reservation even if you just want to take fall pictures, it's still a requirement. What the hell is that bullshit?! No, it's not covid related to people, I think they have a new owner. Weekdays are cheaper and not as crowded. Adult/teen (13+) $5 Child (3-12) $2.50 On weekends it's $10 for adults and $5 for a child. You can have the option of buying tickets online or in person but it's easier to do it online. You can only stay 4hrs and yes, they will kick you out when your time is up. How would they know? By the color of your wristband, when you make a reservation they give you a wristband to wear and that lets them know what group you're in. The yellow group is 9 am - 12 pm The green group is 1 pm - 4 pm The orange group is 5 pm - 8 pm There are signs posted about this! You can pick whatever time you want to go, everybody inside will have the same color wristband as you. With all that being said, I would rate this year a 6 because it's too pricey. I love how organized it is but it wasn't worth it in my opinion. At least have something new like face painting, it's the same old rides and they never clean them!!! EVER!!! My boyfriend and I attempted to take our baby today to take photos, however we didn't know reservations were required and the entrance fee for adults is $14 per person. Soooo not worth it. Last week we went to the pumpkin patch in Irvine Regional Park and the entrance is free, parking is $7 on weekends on $3 on weekdays. It's also bigger with more attractions, and worth the drive. As LB residents we wanted to take advantage of the convenience of Pa's pumpkin patch, but it's not worth it especially when our plan was to be there for no more than an hour due to the warm weather. There are also signs asking guests to please be nice to staff, I'm guessing there's a lot of angry customers due to the inability to make changes to reservations, which is a bummer because it's pricey to get in. read more

Most rides cost 2+ tickets. Kid wants to go on the tiny train: $10. Want to go down the slide: $5 per slide - nope, can't go back up again. Cough up them tickets. Pet the animals? $10. Feed the animals? Pay more money. Works out to about $200-250 per hour for a family of 4, not counting food. This place is like one of those mobile phone games that has nice marketing but loads of ads and micro transactions. Buy some gems to get to the next level! Except Pa's Pumpkin Patch isn't even free. It's been several years going to Pa's on PCH, but it's their first year at Lakewood Mall. At first I was worried there wouldn't be a crowd, but I was wrong. Lots of people. The area seemed larger than the old location and it seemed like they've accommodated almost for everyone, even pets. They even had the Dodger game on which surprised me! The live band was a nice touch. I do see some bad reviews, I'm hoping Pa's will read them and make some improvements for next year. As far as being expensive, what aren't these days? I do see that there are lots of details designed in the event, so I wasn't bothered by the prices. Nothing's for free. I think it was a successful event for the city of Lakewood to host. Wish I had seen the most recent reviews before I wasted my time. Been coming here for many years but sadly this will be my last. First of all the signage is terrible. They have 2 big booths that "RESERVATIONS check in here" which they've never had before. Well we didn't have reservations so we didn't walk there but rather went to the front where a very rude guy asked why we were trying to get in without wristbands. I stated we were going to the ticket booth (just like I'd done in years past). He pointed and said we had to go to reservations. I told him we didn't have reservations and he just said you need to go there anyway. Makes no sense!!! Anyway we went to reservations where we learned they now charge just for entry. For parents there is nothing to do here. What am I paying for? Just to go in and buy tickets for my kids to go on rides/jumpers? Secondly we learned they're 9:00 advertised closing time was false. They start shutting everything down shortly after 8:00. So pay about $50 to walk in, spend $100 in tickets to be told...sorry this ride is closed. Waste of time and money. I'll be taking the suggestions of others and looking for a new place to take the family in years to come. So sad. This place used to be great. read more
