I LOVE DR.GAUDREAU! Hands down the best optometrist I have ever seen. She's extremely knowledgeable, funny, and so attentive. She really listens to my problems and quickly finds meaningful solutions that work with my lifestyle. I love how in depth she is with her exams, and her explanations. She makes it easy to understand what's going on with the health of my eyes, never makes me feel rushed, and genuinely cares about me and my health. She's also a wiz with dry eye treatments. I received punctal plugs from her to help with dry eyes. The whole process was faster, cheaper and easier than I expected! She explained the procedure to me and within an hour, I had less dry eyes for the next 6 months. This was awesome because moving from a humid climate like NYC to the Bay Area, dryness was a common issue for me. She's got the steadiest hands too so I felt confident in her knowledge and skills. Because of her, by God's Grace, I now want to pursue optometry as a career. I can't recommend her enough! Her schedule books up fast because she's so popular. Dr. Gaudreau is gentle, patient & listens. Our whole family gets their eye exams done by her! My kids range from 9 months to 7 years and she is great with them. My son had to see her a few times in the past year and he is very sensitive when it comes to his eyes. Dr. Gaudreau worked her magic and was able to use her microscope on him without causing him to freak out lol. I get my eyes checked here every year by Dr. Parya Gaudreau and she is amazing. My prescriptions have always been accurate and the contacts (Dailies) I get here are very comfortable. For years I had a difficult time wearing contacts; thanks to Dr. Gaudreau's recommendation I can wear these contacts every day without a problem. Dr. Gaudreau is very knowledgeable and gives her patients her best all the time. She is a great listener and she is very respectful. I also love the location of Dr. Gaudreau's office. My mom has been having a lot of issues with her eyes and has seen several different doctors and has never been happy. I on the other hand, had seen my last optometrist probably about 10 years ago. Recently I've been having a lot of migraines and blurry vision. So we finally both made the time to go see Dr. Gaudreau since she was recommended by several close friends! And all I can say is that I would give her 10 stars if I could. Dr. Gaudreau is a very gentle & patient Doctor, and provides a quality eye exam. We both really enjoyed our visit compared to other offices because she took the time to explain the results of the various eye health screenings. She went into detail about each result and why it's important. Dr. Gaudreau is a really lovey lady. Very easy to talk to & knows how to make the experience pleasant. Really appreciated that she took the time to answer the questions that I presented to her. The staff there are quite open & cheerful, I can tell they enjoy there time at work with one another. The whole atmosphere was inviting & makes you feel comfortable. My 13 year old son is starting to wear contact lenses and Dr. Parya did the exam and helped him pick just the right type of Contact Lens. She was very patient and showed great knowledge. My husband and I have been going to see Dr. Gaudreau ever since she wowed me with her knowledge a few years back. I hadn't had my eyes checked for about 10 years prior to that because I never had any issues or complaints. A few years ago while visiting Dubai, I had something strange happen to me - my right eye felt unusually sensitive to light and when I looked in the mirror, the pupil was extremely dilated. Of course I googled what could cause this (bad idea) and I was terrified at the results- they all seemed to indicate I had a brain tumor (I freaked out)! I made an appointment with a doctor as soon as I returned to the states a few days later. My pupil had returned to normal by then. The doctor ran some tests and said everything seemed normal. They couldn't explain what happened to my eye or why. In the back of my head I was worried that I had some serious issue and it was a missed diagnosis. A few months later I decide to take advantage of my work vision plan benefits and get myself some nice sunglasses. I visited Dr. Gaudreau and mentioned to her the issue I had while traveling to Dubai. She immediately asked me if I happened to be wearing a scopolamine patch when the dilated pupil incident occurred. I told her that I know for certain I was because I get air sick very easily and had been wearing the tiny patch behind my ear to prevent motion sickness on my flight. She told me that the active ingredient in the patch was the same thing optometrists use to dilate patient's pupils. She said I had most likely touched the patch and subsequently rubbed my eye to cause that reaction. I was so relieved to finally know what caused it and I was so impressed by Dr. Gaudreau's knowledge and thoughtfulness in asking the right questions to figure out what the issue was. I have 1000% faith in her abilities - she is an extremely intelligent, caring, attentive Doctor that I trust completely. I have been recommending her to friends and coworkers ever since my first visit. She also has great taste - she helped me pick out some beautiful sunglasses that I regularly get compliments on! Dr. Parya is a great doctor. She loves what she does. Every time she does my eye exam, she gets it right. I had problem with kaiser. They almost made me go blind by recommending laser surgery which i didn't need. I'm really lucky to have Dr. Parya as my eye doctor. She is a wonderful doctor and a good human being. My eye exam is coming up in Two months. I'll be seeing her again instead of kaiser who i have insurance with. read more

The mono vision prescription she gave me for my contact lenses works for me wonderfully. Also the prescription that I got for my glasses with progressive lenses this year is also perfect. Because I'm very near sighted, my glasses that I had been wearing before were thick & ugly even with high index lenses that were done at my ophthalmologist's place. This year I got my glasses done at Los Gatos Site for sore eyes. I couldn't be happier! I wore them to work next day; I got great compliments for the frame & how they look on me. Usually I don't like wearing my glasses out side my home; I wear contacts only. I told everybody about the store. This is really going to help me with my dry eyes as I'm supposed to wear glasses more than my contacts.
