But the solution to that is move out, live your own life and what can they do now? Hahah! They can't blackmail to kick me out. I am somewhat a perfectionist and can easily get bored with something. I thought long and hard for what I wanted on myself knowing it's permanent. I did research of the area pain level, infections, placements, color/bw, etc. I tried henna to test out my waters how I would like the look of art on my body. I believe in "i don't give a f** what people think" to get a tat, I believe that mentality is important. When someone walks by and sees your art, they will judge you and I stand by WHO CARES what you think. It's on me not you. My reasoning behind it doesn't matter to you. Your mentality is important because you'll get good or bad opinions that don't matter. These art have meaning to us and that all that matters if you plan on getting one yourself! When I met Michelle, she was patient with all my photos and ideas. She's an amazing person and talented artist! She drew out my first tattoo exactly in what I envisioned in my mind. I fear needles so I can never watch blood be drawn or take shots without screeching. So, when she offered a numbing spray I was happy. Of course being my first, she made me see how it felt.. I endured the outline it wasn't so bad.. the shading is another story, THAT IS PAINFUL!! I had friends who said shading is calming and peaceful. Man, I don't know where you're from but NO that is a lie! I have since gone back for another piece and learned certain part of my body HURT so much compared to other spots. I have friends who love wrist tats and Michelle told me that spot is very painful with all your nerves. I told her, let's try a small piece so I can see how this feels. We placed a lightning bolt on my wrist. 10secs in, I wanted to CRY!! My wrist didn't heal so well, as I constantly washed my hands (pre covid, I am a germaphobe) and the bending made the tat crack. If you want your first tat and don't know who to see, definitely come here and see Michelle. She'll be your favorite person.
