This place is the worst! Shut it down already! It's a total dump! My son just bought New Year's Eve glasses marked with the wrong price and when they rung it up was twice as expensive and came to $42 for 2 bottles of bubbles and 4 crappy plastic 2026 glasses. When he left he noticed the difference in price and turned right around to go back and return the stuff. They would not take it back 5 minutes later because they don't take returns for "holiday items" What else do you sell but holiday items!! And it was literally 5 min later with the same cashier!!! This place is scamming people and has just pure crap for sale. We will never go back and will celebrate when this dump finally goes out of business which is inevitable since it looks like a trash heap inside. Don't shop here! Needed two mylar balloons to bring to someone who was under the weather. Couldn't find a dollar store in the area so I went here and wound up paying 6.99 each for two balloons that were small and probably worth about $1.25 which is what you would pay at most dollar stores. Honestly, one star is too high for this place. I had a very disappointing experience at Party Fair in Ramsey. To start, five birthday balloons that I personally selected were out of stock, which was frustrating but manageable. What followed was much worse. The employee at the register did not understand what I was asking for. After explaining myself three different times, she proceeded to inflate my number balloons with a regular air pump and then charged me $2.50 per balloon. At no point did she tell me the balloons would be filled with air instead of helium. I walked out with birthday balloons that didn't float, which completely defeats the purpose. I did not say anything since I was already frustrated and just wanted to get out of there. While waiting, I also witnessed what appeared to be a manager or owner speaking very rudely to another customer on the phone. While on the phone with them, she was angrily organizing balloons and making loud comments like, "Why can't people put things back where they belong? This is unbelievable." It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. She was standing right next to me doing this! I'll be honest- I already knew this place was overpriced, but I needed balloons quickly and it's conveniently close to my home. Unfortunately, convenience doesn't make up for poor communication, hidden charges, and rude behavior. My husband turned 60 in August and we celebrated his birthday with a finale of fireworks from your store. They were AMAZING! I was so happy to find them since the local grocery stores, where I had thought to purchase fireworks, had already shipped theirs back to the warehouse because the July 4 holiday was over. Everything is the store is marked wrong. All of the tutu's were labeled $4.99 and when I went to pay for them, they charged me $22.99 each. Even this little mask I bought was labeled $2.99 but they charged me $4.99. I spent over $67 on two tutus, a mask, body paint, and a mini beanie boo when according to the labels it should have only been $30. I went back to the isle to make sure I was right, took a picture of the labeled prices, and showed the girls at the front, and all they did was laugh at me and say that on the computer they were labeled different prices. I ordered upwards of 100 dollars in balloons for my 16th birthday including my names spelled in balloons, the numbers 1 and 6, as well as balloons in the colors of my theme. I ordered these balloons so they would be pre inflated and would be a quick decoration. when the balloons were delivered, i was also given a brown paper bag that contained 3/4 of my letter balloons, all packaged as they would be found in the store. un inflated. the 4th letter was no where to be found. additionally, the colored balloons at first seemed to be inflated with helium, but the half of them didn't float and the ones that did hovered less than 1 foot off the ground, as if the balloons had been filled days in advance. overall, i am deeply upset with the service provided, and now don't have balloons for my party:( read more

Ordered balloons for an event that began at 11:30 am on a Sunday. My order pickup time for them was 10:00 am. When we went to get them they were not ready and we didn't get them until nearly 11:00 am. (Then had to drive to the event with them, which was a good 15 minutes away.) Some of these balloons were going to be put out by the road so people would know where the party was. So of course this created a lot of unnecessary stress waiting for the balloons. When I called to complain about this they said they were sorry and that they were understaffed that day. I was just upset that no one had even telephoned me to let me know they were running late. I would give 0 stars if possible. Biggest waste of $75 ever. I brought Mylar and latex balloons to be inflated with helium. I believe they put 90% air and 10% helium. They lasted only 6 hours in the air. The Mylar balloons were already partially deflated by the time we brought them home. We placed the order Thursday night and picked them up Friday. They did not put weights on the big balloons so they wouldn't blow away or put a big bag around all 16 balloons to keep them together and make it easier to get them in and out of car. I called to complain about the half deflated balloons and all I got was excuses from an unpleasant person and no apology or desire to please the customer. All balloons were down on the floor the next day when helium filled balloons usually stay up for a week! This businesses just horrible. Do not waste your money on sort of helium filled balloons. I had 6 balloons that were 24" (massive) and it cost $83 to fill them, but they weren't filled the whole way, maybe just halfway. most of the balloons were struggling to stay floating, so I filled two more at home with another at home tank. disappointed to pay that amount and not have the balloons filled the right amount and not work out for the event. read more

I honestly would've given this store 5 stars if it wasn't for the employees. I had gone in a couple of weeks ago to buy a costume for my son and used a scannable coupon on my phone, they took it no problem. Went in today and one of the older women, glasses, short reddish hair and extremely rude, refused to take it. I tried to explain that another employee had let me use it and it scanned just fine but she wouldn't even let me speak! It's a nice store. It has a lot of options, was tidy and easy to navigate. I just feel like the young employees need to be trained a bit more on customer service. They stood around talking with another couple of guests (friends of theirs, didn't seem like they were buying anything) while they rang me up. Although the sales person seemed sweet, she barely spoke to me during check-out and continued chatting and laughing with her friends. When the transaction was finished, she just walked away and didn't say anything. Like I said, they still seemed nice, they just need to be trained on being more attentive. I would definitely go back. I was never so frustrated or disappointed in a store's return policy. I am all for supporting your local businesses, but I will personally never shop here again. I bought seasonal items and had too much. I went to return it and it was exchange only. I am fine with that but I only had a set time to exchange it. Well I thought great I will pick up something else for the future. Unfortunately, they only offered slim pickings for things not related to the season. They also did not offer a store credit that I would have happily used in the future. So, I ended up just keeping the extra items and will never buy any seasonal items from them again.
