1/5/25 Checking Party City before the doors close FOREVER. Sometimes you may happen to find great deals so you take advantage of close outs. This location is pretty close by. I went in to browse & bought some table covers & a few study plastic containers for wrapping gifts. I went aisle to aisle. One aisle at the front was about 80% bought out. Some items were 10. 20, 30 & up to 60% OFF. Why the 5% OFF? As Zi mentioned on the caption, it won't even cover the tax. Staff were pretty friendly. Parking is now even more available since there are spaces unoccupied for business. ALL Sales are FINAL since it's closing. read more

ITS CLOSED!! Don't go there. Was very upset when my mom and I drove there just to find out that it was completely vacant.

High prices! Especially high for balloons !! Lots of signage stating what you cannot do at the store because they are now not part of the chain but an independent franchised store. Store is understaffed. read more

Ordered balloons online and ended them needed them an hour before my pick-up time. The woman, Candy, was very accommodating and rushed our order!! Thankyou so much, the balloon bouquet is so cuuuute read more

Came here on 12/3/24 at 10:15 am to order 5 regular balloons and a number "1" balloon. The store had a few customers shopping and there was one person being checked out prior to me. I was was helped by a female who was not wearing a name tag. She rang up my balloons and told me to place the balloons and receipt on the counter next to the helium tank area. She said "there is 1 person before you" I placed the receipt and balloons on the counter & went outside to wait for my balloons in my car. I waited 20 mins in my car and came back in for my order at 10:39am. When I asked if my order was ready I was informed there was 2 people ahead of me and I still had another 20 min wait before my order will be ready. So a total of 40 min wait for 6 balloons ?! This would of been fine if I was informed of a 40 min wait when I was checked out of the register by the "no name tag woman"! When I told the employee with no name tag that she never told me there was a wait time and I wanted a refund she told me "Yes I did ! I said there was a 20 min wait ." I said ... "no you did not . You told the person behind me there was a wait of 15 mins but you never told me ." She responds with " Oh..." OH?!! Ohhhh?!! Come on girl, you chose to work at party city on a Sunday Morning. Learn how to talk to customers and have better customer service skills. This could of been avoided if you gave the proper wait time when I initially purchased the balloons. Instead you wanted to argue and give unnecessary attitude to a paying customer. Smh Rude rude rude. Got my refund and left. read more

We picked up balloons at 400 pm last night, and by 10 am the next morning one balloon fell completely and a second is on its way down. They have been kept in the house at 70ish degrees, not outside, and it's been less than 24 hours. I guess if you can, get your balloons an hour before your party..... read more

11/22/24 Workers here's are rude! Lazy! And slow! The girl with the dimple piercings has the worst stuck up attitude she couldn't stop rolling her eyes when we asked for help seeing that all three employees saw us in the line and acted as if we were not there! I wouldn't bother complaining because one of them was the manager the hefty woman with braids seemed to have the same nonchalant attitude. I'm sorry yall have jobs you represent poorly by the way. Party city DO BETTER! Your customers deserve more than this ! All the review for this location are terrible. read more

AI Overview I was ROBBED!!!! No wonder party city is going out of business. Don't buy anything from party city. They are selling products that are not as advertised. I purchased items with understanding all sales final, no refunds, or exchanges, however, I was not allowed to open the packages or try on so I trusted party city was selling complete items as indicated on the package, however I was wrong. I had key items missing and a broken item. below, I have attached their policy for exchanges refunds, etc. I contacted customer service and was informed many people are the same situation as I am. It was suggested to me to go to party city and ask for an exchange or at least the missing items I explained I tried that and I was told nothing could be done no exchanges, etc. etc. I work very hard for my money. I'm really upset that this company is making money off of so many of us who trust party city to be selling what and this is sadly not the I wish we could sue them. I hope you're reading this and you be careful with what you buy. "Party City accepts returns and exchanges for most items within a certain time frame. You can return items to any Party City store or request a refund online. Returns Items must be unopened, in their original packaging, and in new condition You must have a receipt Returns are credited to the original form of payment Online-only products are refunded in full Halloween City accepts returns up to seven days before Halloween Refunds You can request a refund online " read more

My review is based off my online balloon order. I ordered balloons for my son's birthday, and they arrived perfectly. The balloons were properly covered in a plastic bag, every ballon was filled with enough helium (no skimping) and the employees even added different color string to each of the individual balloons, which made them look better than one color string. I appreciate the attention to detail and the care put into preparing my order. My delivery Dasher was awesome as well. I called and spoke to Jen and Yesenia, as I learned they were the two who put my order together this morning - BIG THANKS to them both! It's important to thank people who go the extra mile for their customers. Keep up the good work Party City in Upland! read more

They have EVERYTHING you'll ever need for whatever occasion you are celebrating!! Beautiful, well stocked, and pleasant service to top it off. Plenty of parking in the shopping center where it's located. I'll just let the photos and videos speak for themselves!! Happy everything!!!!! read more

The morning staff at this location is the best, very helpful and friendly ppl. I was scheduled to pick up my balloons at 11 AM. However, I stopped in at 9:30 AM because I was in the area and didn't want to go back home and come back to party city. The morning staff was wonderful . Why 4 stars? There was no customer service when I placed my order with Vivian. No smile no face expression. Nothing. She asked for my email and I said so and so @msn.com. She looked at me puzzled and asked how do you spell that? Msn really?? Lol read more

Early March 2021 AMAZING! That's the word for the crew at this Party City. If you don't know, you need to know that you can order balloons from PC online and have them delivered (either to yourself or to someone else as a gift). I wanted to send balloons to the Ontario area, so I placed my order with this Upland store. And I was nervous... I shouldn't have been worried at all. I called VALERIE on the morning of the delivery and she was very sweet to check all the details, even when I called for a second time. As for REGINA, she added her artistry to my balloon choices and gave me that 'wow' factor I was hoping for. The recipient was thrilled and so was I. Trust this special group to get your order right, in a warm and professional way. THANK YOU, Upland Party City! read more

PAY ATTENTION TO ALL THE REVIEWS!!! I've come to this Party Store several times because it's the closest and I've seen it deteriorate each time. I came in today to pick up a few items and decided at the last minute that I wanted a bouquet of balloons. There was no one in line and 2 other customers in store so I didn't feel too bad ordering on day of. I paid than a customer walks behind me and the young man at register says let me handle the customer behind you and I will do your balloons. Ok no problem won't be too long. Well he starts on my balloons and than the phone rings I look back at register and out of nowhere there was 4 ppl in line. I asked him was he the only one there he said that his two other bosses were there but he basically has to do it all up front. I said so they are ok with having customers wait while they are in the back he said I will call them. He calls someone in the back and told them he is doing balloons and that his line is pretty long. After a few no one from the back more customers walked up and line now had about 10 ppl looking somewhat frustrated so he tells me that he is going to knock down the line and come back to my balloons. I'm like wait that's going to take forever and I was here waaay before these other folks so I decided to help this young man out because clearly he was intimidated by these so called 2 bosses and I've worked in retail before and this was unacceptable!! While he works his line I start looking around and I see 2 ladies that were stocking I'm assuming the 2 Bosses that didn't look like no bosses at all one of them a Hispanic grl with no name tag on I asked if she worked there and I asked her if she could do my balloons because I've been waiting and his line is super long she is like oh yesss I can help you ( well why didn't you come help when he called you earlier I shouldn't have to come find you) Surprisingly she was very nice and did my bouquet and I asked her was there usually a wait for same day she said sometimes but that today they short of staff, Seems like always the case, My balloons came out beautiful but I did see 2 customers leave. she told me to order online but looks like from the reviews there's problems with that as well sooo my question is WHY AFTER ALL THESE NEGATIVE REVIEWS MANAGEMENT OR THE OWNER NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THE SHORTAGE AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE? Today really makes me want to just order from the store in Rancho. read more

This place is so my last resource although I'm down the street from it I prefer avoiding it, first it's so unorganized!!! As a costumer I hate seeing something on shelves and not seeing a price!! But that's not all, this is the second time I get items and I'm surprised at the register with a complete different price that it's advertised!! (I get it some times clients move items around, but do they move a whole rack ?) in case you didn't know it's call FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! And as a costumer I do NOT compare the barcodes I don't read the small letters I'm a costumer... I look at the item and the price that is listed above. The manager Alex needs to work on her costumer service skills! Reason why it's way easier to purchase from AMAZON or online stores bc you'll never need to deal with unknown prices! read more

i just left this party city, the girl with the pink reddish hair working Saturday 9/21 @ 7pm was very very rude. I was standing to get a balloon for my son and my daughter had already picked it out and everything, we were right infront of her and she kept pretending she didn't see us. So then i asked the other girl if we can get one and she said yeah, so the girl went back and made a very ugly face, her nostrils opened up from how she was breathing all upset? I'm paying for the balloon, I don't get why u made It so noticeable that you're in a bad mood. The store is still open, there's still customers.... I'm not making u do crazy amount of work just wanted 1 balloon. read more

Horrible customer service and terrible policies for the store. I just paid $25 for two balloons. They ran out of Weights for the balloons so they let me know if I didn't want them to fly way I needed to purchase weights. I also asked him if the balloons helium deflated could I bring them back and get them refilled. They want to charge six dollars per balloon to refill them. I will not be going back to party city. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. I went last Saturday to get my nephews birthday balloons and I went early, 5 minutes after opening to get in and out fast but the girls working were not attentive to the customers, they were talking and gossiping and they got a pretty good line of customers due to their lack of professionalism and customer service. Not to mention that one of my balloons popped on my way to my brothers house to decorate. read more

Terrible customer service! Had me waiting for nothing another girl came in and said the same thing

If you order balloons online be sure to check your order when you pick up. I was in a hurry and didn't notice they substituted a free spirit birthday balloon with a hot pink balloon . And substituted 2 round hot pick balloons with heart balloons . I know it's Valentine's Day week but this was for a birthday. Again Check your order before you take home!!!!better yet go to the dollar store down the street please . read more

Placed a online Order , get to the location at the time assigned and they can't find my order . No one knew what was going on , I get it y'all busy but not even a apology. I showed my order number , then they ask to see the email confirmation and I showed them I even had to show my fkn bank statement to showed them I pay for it. They started to make my order then tells me that they don't have in store something that was in the balling bucket I didn't say nothing , and they still charge me for ballon's weight because the teddy bear that came with it was too small. I don't like to complain but not even a apology or nothing they kept on questioning me like if I was trying to rob them or something . Super bad customer service read more

Worst customer service ever!!! Never coming back rude ass people I swear. Went to this Party City this morning, absolutely ridiculous. I get "their kids", maybe early 20s, but ZERO customer service skills. They had 3 employees working, passed by all 3, not one offered to help me find what I was looking for, after watching me walk the whole damn store twice. Then when I do ask, they don't have it or I get the, You can look down this aisle or that aisle. Anyways, they suck! read more

Theresa was amazing. I left the Rancho Cucamonga store disappointed with that store because their customer service was horrible, the store wasn't stocked, merchandise showed in stock online but wasn't on shelves. Called and spoke to Theresa and her customer service was impeccable. Upland store was stocked with multiple Mardi Gras mask and no empty shelves like the Rancho store. The shift manager (1/7/22 @ 3:30) at Rancho needs to take some tips from the Upland Store. Great job Theresa for going above and beyond. read more

This place is a joke . They don't have anything and the works are really unprofessional .

In response to " Matt" Your obviously have me confused with someone else I don't even own a pair of green sweats. I was actually wearing a dress that day. Not to mention the fact that I didn't steal anything, which was my point when I gave that store a bad review. Somebody who actually stole something would be in jail, and unable to even give a review from a jail cell. Its obvious that whatever incident you claim to have been a witness to, it was NOT one that involved me. The discription you gave of the person your ranting about, does not even resemble me, as you stated yourself, the woman had green sweats on. Which backs up what I am saying here now, with your words from your own mouth. it's obvious your confussing me with someone else Please make sure you are atacking the RIGHT person before you rant and rave and call someone out of thier name. Make sure you know what and who your speaking so childishly about. Every one makes mistakes, which is obviously the case when you posted the things you wrote. Hopefully your the kind of person who can admit when you are wrong. And will own up to your mistake. You owe me an apology. That asuming you are capable of acting like a mature adult . read more

You see i was going to leave a review on how professional i thought the party city staff treated the situation . I had to come on and give praise to the staff and management at this location. When I've visited in store, staff was helpful and efficient. I've done two deliveries in the past 6 mo or so and each time the staff answered every question I had. On Valentine's Day, they forgot a couple of things in my delivery order. Nothing critical, but nonetheless missing. They went above and beyond in making things right, which made the celebration even more special. Hard to get good customer service like that these days, so I wanted to show my appreciation with a little Yelp love. P.S. Same day delivery service is the best!! Hope that's here to stay. read more

Who would have thought that merely moving a business across a street would improve it so much? This Party City isn't cramped or cluttered. Everything is organized nicely in easily identifiable aisles within the store. Are you just coming in for something seasonal? First aisle (genius right)? They have a great assortment of party favors, games, toys and decorations. Everything you need to put on a great party can be found here. I was a bit bummed to find out that they have absolutely NO Curious George party stuff (as my daughter is currently a HUGE fan), but, if you're kid is into any of the "main" children's characters, there is plenty here for them. Customer service was fast and polite. They apologized for not having any Curious George stuff, and even made the suggestion that for THAT character, perhaps I try Amazon (which, I totally did, and found exactly what I was looking for there). read more

Great customer service. They are a joy to talk to. Helped me find everything I need and gave me great ideas.

Crappy customer service, the girls don't even acknowledge you when you're waiting for your balloons to be filled up. No "I'll be right with you" or anything they just ignore you and continue on with their personal conversations. The store could use more cashiers, there is always a long line and only one person working the register. Love the balloons and decorations available with the variety of options but the customer service is definitely lacking. read more

I checked for a certain mask online before coming to this store. I drove all the way out here to find the mask was not here and I experienced terrible customer service. I approached the employee and showed her my phone and the mask and she was very short with me, said nope never seen it and kept doing what she was doing. She did not even bother to try to assist me in finding it or at least direct me to an isle. Then I asked for her manager and she said she was the manager. Her name is Theresa and she can definitely use a refresher in training for customer service. I can understand if it was no longer in stock but the treatment was uncalled for. Poor leadership! read more

There's 4 stars because I tend to only give 5 to local businesses (not chains, usually). As a matter of fact, though, the only reason I came into yelp to show this Party City was significant was because the staff there was insanely helpful and kind! I would return again just for the aid in preparing for my brother's birthday party. I'd called ahead and they prepared two different sets of balloons because I "wasn't sure" what I had mind, and they helped me blow up the non-helium ones before I left. Shoutout Christine!!! read more

I had my daughter's 7th birthday party here and I was beyond satisfied with the service. My daughter & friends had an AWESOME time and I was able to relax and enjoy my daughter turning a year older. Honestly don't know why I keep coming back here, the customer service at this location it's honestly the worst. They are the least helpful, worst attitude, definitely make you feel like you are bothering them all the time with just one simple question. Awful customer service. Been to this location multiple times and it seems to get worse everytime I go.

When you're on a mission for party supplies, you think this place will have it. When they run out you hope that they'll help you find the closest location that have it in stock. The employees didn't even know the other locations or assisted with this mission but I assume that's the work ethics for these kids these days since they can't get off their phones. read more
