Love this store for last minute party needs. They have a huge selection, ok prices and the employees are usually nice and helpful. They have a large variety of helium balloons, and also helium tanks you could rent. They always get holiday decor, especially around Halloween and graduation time. They have a large parking lot and it's literally easy to find very close parking. They also have curbside pick up which is great if you have young kids or you're just lazy. read more

UPDATE The delivery was made during the first half hour of the 2 hour window. There were 4-5 drivers and they were all on top of it and called with questions. Great experience!!! I had the best experience with ordering balloons for our senior night. AJ was the most patient, sweet, kind young man. He ensured the order was correct and going through all the details so nothing was missed for delivery. Sean also ensured that AJ was on top of it and the order was what I requested. Then I found I needed to revise the order the night prior to delivery. I spoke with Jose and came in the next day and he was patient with me for the changes. He even had part of the order set aside from the conversation the night before. All in all, the staff was amazing. I can't speak to the delivery yet but up to the POS everything was on mark. Thank you to all read more

We don't generally throw parties, so I don't spend a lot of time at Party City stores. I've been to several in my home area that seemed to be more pulled together than this particular venue. We were visiting in Santa Rosa and looking for graduation-themed items, so our niece brought us to this location. As someone else mentioned, the sales floor was indeed somewhat messy and not all departments were stocked. Other retail shops will try to have one of the employees greet shoppers as they enter, or when you get to the cash register. That didn't seem to be a priority at this Party City. We did ask about the location of a couple of items and got sent in the general direction. Thankfully, my niece was familiar with the layout, so we did okay with finding most of what we needed. We picked up some themed napkins, balloons, greeting cards, and table decorations. It all went pretty smoothly once we figured out what we wanted. They had a lot of color options for graduation-themed gear, so you could likely find the school colors to pull together a planned look. Our cashier perked up when we were cordial with her, but I didn't get the sense that the staff is that satisfied with working here. Mostly I picked that up when we were waiting for balloons to be filled. read more

The store was a bit messy and didn't have a lot of product in certain areas. There was hardly any people in the store so when we placed an order for around 10 balloons they let us know it would take 10-15 mins so we went to a couple of stores next door. By the time we came back, we still had to wait longer as our order wasn't ready. read more

I love this place for any party needs, huge selection of balloons and everything you need. We recently went for Halloween decorations and costumes and they had huge variety ! read more

Picked up my daughters balloons good service overall. What was supposed to be a 9 didn't last not even a couple hours guess she's just waking up to teal balloons. read more

A co-worker is retiring today so I stopped in yesterday after work for some retirement "Bling". Small area of retirement themed goods, but what they had was super cute. I was able to find items to decorate her work space and the break room. Plates and napkins, too. There was a friendly employee there. He asked me if I needed assistance, then directed me to the area I was looking for. Fast check out. read more

Party City - Lots of balloons - Party Supplies Near Me - Santa Rosa, California

Have a ton to choose from but not many of each. They have so many different themes but maybe a pack or two of the item within that theme. So if it's a last minute party you're a bit SOL if you need more than 8 count of something. Or if you're an early planner it'll take you a couple shipments to get everything you need. The total creeps up on you quick. And there are no offers for in store use all of them are for $80+ spent before any discount or free shipping when ordering online. The associates only greeted and checked out. There was no one on the sales floor to ask questions to. Hit and miss service. read more

I come to this store whenever I need some party supplies. The last few times I been there was like in 2021 and it was nothing to brag about. Long wait to get a balloon and the store just seem unorganized. I always felt before that they didn't really care about their customers since it was hard to get anyone to really help you. This time what a big difference! I was greeted as soon as I walked in that was a first. Then Justin asked me if I needed any help on finding anything. I told him what my theme was for my party, and he gave me some great ideals and walked me over to find exactly what I was looking for. Getting my balloons this time was a lot faster as well! read more

Store wasn't the most organized, the lady at the register have a lot of sarcasm when I asked a simple question.

The management here at the store is awful. Heard a female manager going off on a associate I asked for her name when I was checking out and I guess the managers name was Veronica. I will never shop at a place like this especially if the employees are being mistreated. No wonder the employees look like they don't want to work there. Why would they when they are being mistreated all the time. Party city needs to get rid of the crappy managers and higher ups and bring in a whole new team. If you can order on Amazon I would and not give money to a company that mistreated their employees. read more

Sometimes it's the little things. I was in line and there was an older woman who didn't have much and was buying bead necklaces. She had to give 1 back because she was short on cash. She still didn't have enough and even asked everyone in line for change, but then the manager who didn't think twice, gave the difference in change out of his own pocket. I don't know your name sir but you made me smile from your small and kind gesture. read more

My review is mostly centered on the experience we had with custom invitations that we decided to order here for our wedding. Party City is a monolith of overstimulation, with candies, balloons, toys, decorations, and swirling palates of colour, all encompassed in a loud soundtrack of nobodys covering current and throwback hits loudly over the sound system. Regardless, I was told by another elite that this was the best wedding invite bang for our buck, so we gave them a chance. It did take us about a month to decide to go with Party City, and the honest to goodness deciding factor was price. For the number and customization of invites we wanted, it was looking like we were going to have to shell out a pretty penny to get our invite needs met. Once we saw Party City's selections and their prices, at almost half the competitors, we couldn't say no. We were assigned to work with Christina, who strikes me as the manager or assistant manager by the way she talks to other employees. We met a few times, and then sat down and hashed out all the details. At the end, I was pretty confident that the invites would be good, and she let me know she'd send me the proof before the invites were officially ordered. This is when the chaos started. First proof: fiancé's name spelled wrong, date of wedding missing the month, place of registration missing, dress code missing, am/pm missing on time of wedding and reception, vegetarian dining option missing on response card, and multiple problems with pluralization of words and 's/s usage. I made a bevy of edits and went over them with her, and was still skeptical they would be fixed. Second proof: still no edits on pluralization and 's/s usage, my last name spelled wrong, still no vegetarian option, February spelled Fedruary, still no am/pm on date of wedding, request of dress code stated wrong, and Macy's spelled Macy. I went over the edits again, in superb detail with her, and she assured me this time they would be correct, and by this time we were nearing the time to send the invites so close we had no choice but to just order them and hope for the best. Then we waited. After days and days of nervously waiting, I finally called her on her cell phone and she told me that they ordered them expedite because she felt bad about all the problems, but they would arrive the Monday after Christmas. I did get a call to pick them up, and when I got there I hugged them to my chest in relief. Unfortunately, they still had a blaring error on them, and with 175 invites already printed and no time to spare, there was nothing I could do but to send them out. Even if the invites process had gone smoothly, the staff were super unprofessional, sitting around texting and showing each other things on their phones in front of customers, taking personal calls, and lounging while supposed to be working. I guess you can't ask Nordstrom's quality service with a Wal-Mart price point, but besides the price, Party City leaves much to be desired. read more

To begin with we had to wait for a long time because only one person was doing balloons. I found it extremely unreasonable considering the long line. Then I went to the restroom. It looked like nobody had clean the restroom in a week. At 11am on a Saturday looked like a restroom from a Friday night at a dump bar. read more

Party supplies for immediate pick up. Yes, you can probably get the same stuff on the internet. But it's not the same as coming into the store and getting distracted with a bunch of other things that you didn't realize you needed. Plus, making chit chat at register gives this all a small-town feel that you can't really get by clicking buttons. Their coupons also seem to get to me at just the perfect time. We grabbed a bunch of patterned and colored tablecovers, multi-colored boxes of eating utensils, and these cute little chalkboard signs (that I totally wouldn't have thought to get at all). All fairly inexpensive. The checkouts are against a corner in an "L" shape, which is fine, but it's kind of hard to tell where exactly to queue up. read more

Only went in once to get some decorations and candy I needed for a Halloween party. Their selection of candy is great and they have a lot of decorations, just not the best quality. It was cheap though so you get what you pay for sometimes. I do like how organized the store was, it could have been cleaner but it was pretty easy to find things. The employees seem like they hate life though. read more

Extremely rude customer service from both an employee and the manager. Came in to return a few things. Turns out we missed the return window by 3 days. Wouldn't have been that big of a deal if they were nice about it. But they were rude about it and just said nope it's out of season. The manager said the same thing, but wouldn't even give us the time of day or look up from her computer screen. Definitely was not impressed with their customer service skills. read more

This party city is so unorganized. During this pandemic, you're supposed to order online and then do curbside pickup. When you get there, you're supposed to call the number and they bring it out right away. It took me 13 calls to get a hold of them and when they finally answered it took them another 5 minutes to bring it out when I could literally see it through the clear doors. Awful system and should be changed. There was also a line outside with 4 people waiting for their stuff. read more

Ordered and paid for delivery, including a generous tip. They forgot everything, but the balloons, and then got the wrong colored balloons. wouldn't rely on them for a party, or for delivery. Now they can't/won't give me a refund. $100 of products not refunded and not delivered. read more

The three stars is for the variety of items and easy return policy. I like that I didn't need my receipt to return some items. What I didn't like was the older lady coming over to help the young man with my return, assuming I wanted store credit. Her snap-back attitude made it seem like it was my fault for my stopping her, even though I called the store ahead of time explaining my situation about my return. Granted, she knows what to do, but she rushes so much, that there are mess ups, and non-effective trainings with other new employees. There needs to be more effective communication within the store, and better customer service. Also, the store needs to higher a few people to just organize it. It seems like it's always messy even when there's hardly any customers. read more

They get three stars right off the bat for having out of season costumes all year round. And every accessory and party genre you could imagine. We ventured there when my daughter needed an Athena costume for a school project. Yes, arguably I could've made one but we really needed the shield, sword and helmet. I felt bad that it was 20 mins before closing so I called ahead to see if they could maybe pull something out so when we got there we could pick, pay and go. She said she didn't have time so I'd have to look when I got there. Ok, it just means you'll be open longer than you want, but ok. We go to the back of the store down aisles that are stacked easily 10' high with merchandise. It's a little daunting, if you don't like feeling closed in you would be uncomfortable. We see the roman soldier costumes which is the closest we're getting so, ok, get the flimsy, small, so-thin-it's-bendable plastic shield and helmet. Honestly, thin as a paper plate. A plastic disposable plate is thicker and tougher than this shield and helmet (damn! Why didn't I think of that then?!! Could've made one for $.99) we get to the register; $14.99 for the shield, 17.99 for the helmet, "buh pff huh wha!? Oh my God, wha?!" Let's just say my offspring will NEVER wait til the last minute again because she worked that outrageous overpriced $.99 stuff off the whole weekend. In their defense they did give me 40% off the helmet even though the coupon was for a different day but still the gall to price an item that I could rip with my fingers higher than $8 is insulting. They should just put "we just want your money" on all the tags, at least it'd be honest. If you go there, go with a savings account or save for a few months before you go. Other than that, plan ahead and shop Amazon. read more

This is an awesome store. Oh my, I had never been here and it was the best experience! First let me say as I walked in the front door i was greeted warmly by the front man at cash register. He pointed me to exactly where I needed to go. Then, when checking out he got plenty of checkers to get to all of us. Great staff. Lots of party stuff of every party you can imagine and good prices!! I was able to get some place card holders here in September when it seemed like no one else had them - so that was pretty cool. What I didn't love was how disorganized the store was. (note this was late September and not the week of halloween...) and yet everything looked like a flock of people had come through and turned everything upside down. Staff is friendly, and knowledgeable. read more

absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received. I asked an employee of the store where I could find items for a gender reveal were located and he said idk and dumbfounded that I would ever ask him a question regarding the store he worked at. I then went to the cashier and she proceeded with idk sorry. I understand if you don't know the answer, but a better response would be 'I'm not sure at this time, but I will get the answer for you or I will call my manager who can better assist you' After I finally found the items for the ballon, they claimed to have ran out of helium which was a nation wide problem. (ya right) Then I asked for military discount and she said I needed a store account with name/phone number/email address to receive the discount and on top of that a manager needed to be there to verify my military ID. I WILL NEVER shop here ever at any location. the store was so dirty, awful customer service, ok selection for gender reveal but I will return everything I bought just for the principle. read more

I'm only giving one star because I can't give ZERO! I have been in a few times within the past year and the customer service is horrible! Kids now a days have no sense of proper customer service. Completely ignore you don't even greet you as they should. & I've noticed them just standing around not wanting to do their work. I was standing in line for a few minutes mind you no one else was there & 2 girls just stood there until I asked for help. Once they finally got the other tank of helium started after waiting 20+ minutes the girl handed me the balloons and I noticed out of the 3 balloons 2 of the latex were not tied to the clip. I went back & asked if she can tie them & her response was "we don't tie the latex". Every single time I have gone in for balloons they have ALWAYS been tied. So I responded with that & her reply was "no, we don't do latex.. but you can do it yourself" I'm sorry WTF . Managers please teach your employees CUSTOMER SERVICE . I will gladly go to target to get my own helium tank instead of wasting time here read more

We placed an order online and had some trouble with some of our latex balloons during the party. When I let the store know, Shana the manager took care of it immediately. She apologized and made it right even offering to deliver new balloons. I really appreciated the great customer service. Curbside pickup was very easy and convenient. read more

Party city is a wonderful place to get party decor but this is definitely not the one you want to go to. The costumer service here is horrible! I went in a few days before the birthday party and was told to just purchase the balloons now and if I someone brought balloons, they would be able to return it. Someone brought balloons to the party, call them the day of and told them I would be returning them and they said to come down and do so. So here I am trying to return these balloons and was told I would not be able to. Why lie to your customer, pressure them into purchasing the balloons and then not letting them return it!
