Party Sh**ty more like, if the service here is anything to go by. Customer services is admittedly pretty bad and organization is poor and the shelves aren't always well stocked, but you can find some cool party deals here and Barbi still likes this kind of store, and specifically still requests this location when we're in Richmond. So there's no way I can get away with giving them less than a three since Barbie usually comes out with some cute sexy novelty things from here. I just get to wander the aisles and look bored for 20 minutes (minimum). Welcome to my life. read more

Party City - There's a party in my city and you're invited - Party Supplies Near Me - Richmond, Texas

Love this place! Sad to see it's closing. This is my go to place for random things and for getting celebration products, aka birthdays and anniversaries. Also Seasonal stuff is always good and well priced. read more

Terrible, terrible place. Everything sucks. Took about 30 minutes to blow up a few balloons with 4 staff members. Staff was standing around, not doing anything. Misplaced orders, long wait, everything disorganized.... just terrible. Prices not shown on the racks... If you're looking for a place where the employees move at a snail's pace and seem utterly clueless, look no further than Party City. It's astonishing how a store dedicated to celebrations can be so joyless and frustrating. Workers are in a constant state of confusion. read more

This is the store we use most often and while it is typically disorganized a d low on staff, I typically always find what I need and the fee staff who are there are pretty nice. read more

Employees treat their customers like garbage here. Inventory is also very low on balloons. Do not waste your time shopping here.

35 minutes to blow up one balloon. Prices of the same item vary throughout the store. But I did get what I needed. So there's that. read more

All these balloons say that they are $13.00 but I paid $15.00 and can't get the difference back. Party City stole my money. I will ship on Amazon from now on or my Walmart, local grocery store, dollar store any where but here. read more

Party City - All balloons say 13 dollars but I have to pay 15 - Party Supplies Near Me - Richmond, Texas

This was the worst customer experience ever. I bought a couple of costumes today. Not only was the register price showing up at 30% more than the marked price, but when I told them the prices were wrong, they argued with me that the computer system was right. When I told them I expected them to honor the price that they showed advertised on the floor, the cashier had the audacity to tell me I was getting rowdy and did nothing. They then told me it was common practice for them to just put stuff up on the floor, without updating any prices, because they were so busy. I just now checked party city online, and lo and behold, their prices were actually cheaper than the register price. So, the price marked on the rack was actually correct And the price I should have been charged. Clueless employees were rude, argumentative and WRONG. read more

My son asked me about his "Animal Parade" costume at 8:15pm! I made it to this Party City 7 minutes before closing and the store manager helped me find everything I needed for my son's cat costume. Everyone was friendly and helpful despite it almost being closing time! Thanks Party City! read more

Great customer service! Great selection! We went for a wider variety of balloons because HEB pickings are slim. There is a whole wall of balloons to choose with a variety of accessories. Despite me hoping weights would do the trick, my 6 year old lost her balloons into the sky for her birthday party today! She was crying so much so I called and they were so nice and replaced them. I'll be back to buy balloons and party supplies for years to come. read more

Party City - Cute 6 year old girl balloons...round 2 after losing the first set into the sky - Party Supplies Near Me - Richmond, Texas

This place was SO extremely RUDE i came to get foil balloons aired, that my mother purchased prior to me coming in that day, and they charged me 17$ broke one of my balloons & the lady that helped me was extremely unprofessional and rude i've brought my own balloons from them and then came back to put air in them on another day, before this day and i've came here before & i was never treated so rudely nor did i have to pay 17$ on top of what i paid for the balloons which says foil balloons are free to put air in ..... so i definitely won't be coming back here anytime soon read more

This is probably the most disappointing location ever!!! I'm in line while three associates assist one customer!! Like how many people does it take to help one customer!! Not only are the employees uninformative about their out of stock merchandise, they didn't offer to call around to seek out information either!! I'm over them!!! read more

The staff was rude. I went in with my friends and they stereotyped us as typical teenagers and accused us of stealing candy. No person would steal 10 cents. They rudely embarrassed us in front of the entire store and my entire experience was horrible. Don't come here!! read more

Placed an online order and paid for an item needed for a Christmas party. Order confirmed this location had the item. Got an email 2 days later stating by order was cancelled...no explanations. Called today to follow up.....was on hold 30 minutes while the man tried to investigate just to come back saying they don't have the item. So, what's the point of online shopping to pick up? read more

Avoid this place at all costs! This location has the WORST customer service. Yesterday, there was a young male cashier who was extremely unprofessional and making rude comments under his breath at me, in front of other customers. Since he wasn't wearing a name tag, I asked him for his name and he obviously gave me a fictitious name because the other cashiers all broke out into laughter. To make matters worse, I discovered the "manager" was working right next to him and did nothing about the terrible unprofessional service. It's obvious the staff at this location has zero respect for their manager and the store. Needless to say, I left humiliated and extremely embarrassed and feel horrible for the store owner of this location. If nothing is done soon regarding the unprofessional customers service and the liberty of publicly shaming customers, I'm sure a lawsuit or bad publicity is promised to occur soon. From viewing other similar comments from a long time ago, I'm sure nothing will be done to rectify the problem soon. read more

I went in to pre-order baby shower balloons for my party. The 2 cashiers there were both so un-helpful I almost left without the product I was purchasing. All I wanted to know was about the selection of baby shower balloons they had and if it was necessary to pre-order. Neither one could give me a direct answer on the full selection and instead of taking me to the balloon aisle just gave me the number of the aisle as if I was in their way or they were too busy to really help me. I personally will not be returning to this location. read more

This was the longest trip I've ever made to party city, and it was a Monday!! Let me start by saying they are receiving 2 stars because their customer service, and their attitude's towards their customers (kinda the same thing), is horrible! I went here looking for an Iron Man costume for my husband and was told they didn't have one in his size. Okay, cool, no biggie. So I go to the front and see about ordering it online from their kiosk. Online, they only have XL-my husband is a large. So, I ask if I could see another costume in an XL to compare sizes. The young man refers me to a lady named Beth (who happens to be the manager on duty). At first, Beth instructed me to go back there and find a lady to help me who works the "costume wall." I told her that all of those people were busy and I only wanted to view any costume for sizing purposes. She asked me if I knew the costume number, um, no Beth, I don't work here, I'm the customer and don't have the costume numbers memorized. Beth didn't look like she wanted to move from the stool she was sitting on. When she finally walks me back there she finds said iron man costume that the other lady told me they didn't have--yay! Well, apparently the costume is supposed to come with a 2 part mask; not the plastic flimsy one. Of course, there was no mask. After about 15 minutes of searching for it they tell me there isn't one. "Okay, well can I get a discount since it doesn't have all of the parts?" I ask. "You'll have to ask a manager when you go to the front." Ugh...okay. I walk to the front to the same guy who helped me the first time and told him to call a manager; here comes Beth. Beth starts searching through the bag (again) looking for the missing mask, she grabs the little plastic one the other lady gave me and said, "here it is, see, it matches the picture." Ummm, no Beth, the mask is two parts--not one; AND yes, they match, iron man has the same face on every mask, were you expecting him to look like Batman all of a sudden? Duh it matches! She angrily punches in some buttons and gives me the discount, finally. With all of that being said, this incident could have been handled quicker, nicer, and more efficiently. Management has a due diligence to help their customers-this unfortunately only happened because of my persistence. read more

Very nice place. Good selection of merchandise even on the day before Halloween. The floor staff was very helpful as well. The only gripe I have is this one cashier girl with dark, long hair and black glasses. Probably the worst cashier I've ever seen in my life. Zero communication, just set the pen and receipt down and stared. No, "have a nice day," or anything. It's not really a big deal, but damn at least try to fake it... read more

The young man assisting with the costumes was very helpful, the rest of the kids working there tonight need some serious training on professionalism, customer service, leadership, respect and Etc. The young man that was supervising was getting no respect and ran over by them. Sad. read more

Terrible customer service and rude staff. The return policy for Halloween is ridiculous and a scam. I bought a piece for a costume and it didn't work so I returned it the next day and before Halloween and they gave me store credit, even though I had a receipt! When I asked about it they were rude as usual. I will no longer be a customer of Party City. You would think with Amazon and other companies that have much better prices they would have better service. read more

Horrible customer service. I went to return a Halloween costume on Monday, the 24th. This was the deadline to return costumers. No where on the receipt under "Return Policy" does it state you have to have a credit / debit card to return items. I originally used a debit card but did not have that card at time of return. I requested cash. The employees at the counter were extremely rude and proceeded to scold me in front of other customers. We will not shop at this location ever again, regardless of convenience. read more

Worst customer service, don't bother going to this location unless you want rude employees who would tell you to ask someone else for help and walk away or if you need help from an employee who's on their personal cell phone during business hours giving you a half ass service then don't bother. Oh, if you need to help in the balloon department, they'll just say they don't have it without even trying to find the balloon you want. This party city location need better customer service training. read more
