First, their contact us form on their website wasn't working - some issue with the captcha. So I tried emailing with my request and questions about table options. I waited for days, and then I got an anonymous text with a couple of questions in return. So I'd respond, and then days would go by where I wouldn't hear anything again. I called several times and left messages, then I got another text a couple of days later. Finally, I got a text with just a price tag - no itemized breakdown of costs, no responses to my questions about table sizes, nothing. I left another message, asking for an itemized quote and haven't heard back. Its so surprising, considering how responsive and professional they were the past two summers when I rented from them. Itemized contracts, detailed terms. everything you would expect. This time there was none of that. Did they lose their sales staff? Are they going out of business?

It was a complete success and everyone had a blast! There were bounce houses, snow cone machines, cotton candy machines... the kids went crazy. If there is anything I've learned about associate events, is that if you keep the kids happy, then the parents are happy. The staff delivered all the equipment as promised, set everything up, and took everything down. It was extremely professional and so easy for the party planners. They didn't have to lift a finger. We made the mistake of renting a grill from another company and it was a huge ordeal just trying to get them to come pick it up. I'm not sure if Jumpin4Joy does rents grills, but it was still nice that they made the event seem seamless from start to finish. Really, the last thing you want is to have several extra hours for prep time, because a company you hired to provide a service or service is giving you the 2nd class treatment. You want to go, have fun, and go home. Jumpin4Joy knows this and treats their customers accordingly. All the staff on hand were extremely polite and helpful - very great experience. To my understanding, they service the Dupage and Cook Counties. If you're just outside of that area, then I would still visit their website and give them a call to see if they cover your area. It'll make your party planning a lot easier, knowing you're selecting a company that will deliver as expected and make your event look good. We will definitely use them in the future. We were on the hunt for a one stop shop for decor for a small backyard party during Covid-19:…read morelights, furniture, rugs, pillows, etc. This turns out it's harder to find than I expected unless you go with the big time players like Kehoe that was a bit pricier than I wanted for this particular party. I loved the rustic look of the furniture Elegant had and their prices were better than most. While they didn't have any rugs or pillows to rent (sigh), their wine barrels were perfection to use as high boys and ended up getting a bunch of their low benches to put together as low tables (to use with floor seating). And they were also able to provide lights for my backyard. While every other vendor told me that postposting due to rain or Covid-19 wasn't an option (say whaaa?) I also liked that they were flexible. The main issue was that getting ahold of them was extremely difficult. If the Yelp reviews didn't give me faith that they'd show in time fo the bash I would have been extremely worried. It took a lot of stalking for both me and my party planner to get a contract, pay for the contract and a date to set everything up. There is an emergency # and found that we had better luck when we called the emergency #. They set everything up a few days in advance so I didn't worry too much about them being a no show. I let them know they needed to come at 7am to get it all done since I was headed out for a busy day and they showed up even a few minutes early. An hour later my yard was lit up beautifully and I was really happy with the look of the furniture for the price. They set it all up on a Thursday morning and said they would be back on Monday to pick it up (also prompt for pick up) so we got to enjoy a long weekend of beautiful lights. While the service leading up to the event wasn't the best, I'd probably still use them since it was smoothly the weekend of the event. However, I'd hope they would be more on top of their communication next time.
