I got married in a brewery, and the one thing I knew when we decided to hold both our wedding and…read morereception in the rather grey, sparse space was that I was going to need to adorn the venue with pieces that would bring about elegance and make an impact. I liked vintage, but nothing that said "shabby chic" or "barn wedding". Further, I didn't have the craftiness or patience in me to be a thrift store-hunting, DIY bride, which I why it made the most sense to rent. I can't recall how I stumbled upon Violet Vintage's website, but looking through their inventory, I knew they were worth a phone call. I worked with Megan, who set up an appointment for me to come look at their full inventory. Let me tell you: the website only gives you a sliver of Violet Vintage's inventory. The warehouse is astonishing with all of the beautiful antique pieces. I ended up renting WAY more items than I had anticipated including platters, stained glass windows, lamps, doors, vases, candelabras, and an old ice chest. Every item helped me transform the brewery into the elegant space I was looking for. To the brides looking for a vintage, elegant feel (or a garden party, or shabby chic, or rustic), I can't recommend Violet Vintage enough. Make an appointment to see their inventory, and I guarantee you'll find the pieces that will make your wedding special.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing and unprofessional experience…read more I hired Jodi to handle balloon décor for an important corporate event on behalf of my company. She arrived without part of the order and brought incorrectly branded balloons, even though I had provided the correct artwork in advance. The on-site contact had to ask her to remove them and replace them with plain balloons because the client would not accept the incorrect branding. Jodi also discussed a tax issue directly with my client, even though I had already provided her with our tax-exempt certificate. As my subcontractor, any billing or tax questions should have been addressed with me, not my client. The event began at 10:30 a.m. At 11:45 a.m., while the golf clinic was already in full swing, Jodi texted my client that she was returning with replacement branded balloons--but they were still incorrect. At teardown, Jodi offered my client a free decorating event. Since the client is not local, they declined, and Jodi then offered it to the golf course. When another company entrusts you with its client, especially for an important corporate event, attention to detail, professionalism, and following the supplied specifications are essential. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. I will not use this company again.

The bed was also very comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep after a long day. I was traveling for business, so reliable Wi-Fi was especially important to me. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was not steady enough to comfortably do any kind of work, which was the biggest downside to my stay. Hopefully, that's something they can improve because it would make a big difference for business travelers. They also offer a continental breakfast, and I thought it was good with a nice selection to get the morning started. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and really appreciated the historic charm and comfortable accommodations.

The room had a non-functioning but pretty fireplace, mini-fridge, television cabinet, chair, desk, and armoire. Since we were on the back of the inn, the view was uninteresting. The bathroom is a little dated, but serviceable. The shower jets were great but the shower needs deep cleaning. We were in room 229. I saw massive behavior improvement in him and I attribute that to the way Kendall runs the classes. The kids have a ton of fun but have to listen when it's listening time and Kendall treats them with a kind but no-nonsense attitude. I've seen him interact with kids of all abilities and truly everyone is welcome at MyGym. The facility itself is very clean with plenty of parking. I've never felt grimy after leaving like I have at some other kid centered places. The bathroom is always clean and hand sanitizer is encouraged to keep the kids healthy. Birthday parties are a STEAL. You get the whole facility for the kids to use unlike some of the trampoline parks. And Kendall leads them in games and has special moments for the birthday kid. I just sit back and watch my kid have a blast! He even hands out the cake/cupcakes/pizza (whatever you decide to bring). Probably the hidden gem in Fishers are the summer camps. It's a few hours of drop off camp and a snack is provided. You can pick and choose which days you want to attend and can save more by registering early. I like that we can occasionally have something for him to do but not have to commit to a full week if we don't want to. You'll be hard pressed to find a negative thing to say about Kendall and MyGym. It's such an awesome place!
