Reached out to them to decorate for my engagement party; especially because I was recommended by A Classic Rentals. They called me once for an initial meeting and budget quote. They never sent me a quote, I reached out about 5 times after the fact to get things moving along. They replied saying "we have you flagged and will get back to you in the next couple weeks", but that never happen. This all was over a span of about 5 months, so plenty of time. After planning our event for a year with multiple meetings with Atmospheres Indy and paying over $13,000, the owner and designer (Renee), was a no show. She ended up showing up 2 hours before the event and left after 1 hour. Most of the custom design pieces were not done. She reported her "machines weren't working" and she "forgot to order" other items. She also stated she was being "blackmailed" by someone and was in crisis stating she had to deal with that rather than work on my event. Renee acknowledged after the event that she failed to provide the services that they were paid for. She never contacted me or my event planner prior to the event stating there was an issue. This would have given us time to come up with an alternate plan. She refused to answer my planners calls/texts on the day of the event when she was inquiring why she hadn't shown up. After asking for a portion of my money back for the items that they did not provide, she kept saying "give me a week", "give me until Thursday", "give me until Monday" and then no response. She admitted to not providing the services/decor paid for but has refused to make it right despite giving her multiple opportunities. We will never get a re-do on our event. Renee's unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. DO NOT use Atmospheres Indy for your event! They basically stole my money (which I had to pay in advance) and then didn't follow through once they were paid. read more

Delivered my lighting to the wrong venue and then refused to pay back the money once they acknowledged their mistake. As a Indy native very disappointed in this service and recommend using another company. Poor customer service and very disingenuous people that don't care about how they treat others. read more
