We went in for balloons for my daughters birthday party. There was no one to help me in the place. There were two ladies filling balloons with air and one guy, Dean, at the counter. The two ladies were quite curt with no "may I help you." They were more like two drowning swimmers gasping for breath, "Balloons are a ten minute wait." I gave them the balloons we wanted and asked whether I could pay while I waited. They pointed at the scraggly guy Dean at the counter. Dean greeted me like a hungover thirtysomething who loves at home still would, and didn't say anything while I paid. I realized after paying that I didn't have any weights for the balloons and asked Dean for some, to which he said his first words, "There were no weights on the counter." Dear manager - shouldn't you want your employees to try to get your customers to buy more stuff? Especially if buying said stuff is valuable to the customer? And you? Dean needs not to interact with customers....at least not until after his successful completion of a twelve step program.

My visits to Party City have been during Halloween season. Party City is a good place to go if you're looking for a quick, easy, and relatively cheap off-the-rack Halloween costume. They have several in-stock at the store in various sizes ready for you to try on and purchase. Party City came through for me the last time I shopped for an off-the-rack costume. I was able to find a great Luigi costume in my size for only $29.99. Back then, Party City carried two Luigi (and Mario) costumes: a regular version that came with a hat, jumpsuit, and moustache (that's the one I got) and a premium version that also came with gloves and an inflatable belly. These days, you can only get the premium version and it's $49.99. Having been very satisfied with the regular version, I don't think the premium version is worth the extra 20 bucks. I've been disappointed by the in-store selection of costumes (for men) at Party City this year. It just doesn't seem as fun or impressive to me as in years past. Most of Party City's best costumes, in my opinion, are available online only. An example is the Walter White hazmat suit from Breaking Bad (http://www.partycity.com/product/adult+hazmat+suit+walter+white+costume+breaking+bad.do). The stores carry the Ninja Turtles Leonardo costume, but they do not carry Donatello, Michelangelo, or Raphael ("Gimme a break!"). If you want to dress up as one of the other turtles, you must order your costume online. Out of curiosity, I tried on the Leonardo costume at this store and was creeped out by what I saw. Maybe they should change the name of the costume to Creepy Leonardo or Creepy Ninja Turtle. I do like that Party City has fitting rooms set up so you can try on costumes before you buy them, but the fitting rooms at this store are uncomfortably small. There are two makeshift fitting "rooms" that have been erected in the middle of one of the shopping aisles. It's hard to unpack a costume, undress, and try a costume on in such a small space. There's a long mirror inside each fitting room, but it's difficult to get a full-body view of your costume without stepping outside. Also, it's very easy for someone to walk in on you as all that's separating you from the folks shopping in the aisle outside is a simple black curtain. All in all, the fitting rooms are uncomfortable and awkward and Party City should figure out a better solution. If you order a Halloween costume from Party City's website, you can return it in-store for a full refund by October 24, 2017 (http://www.partycity.com/category/customer+service/returns+and+exchanges.do). After October 24, only exchanges are accepted. I found a costume that I liked on Party City's website (online order only). However, I ended up ordering the costume from Amazon instead because Amazon had a better price. Party City had the costume for $49.99 before tax. After a 20% off Halloween online discount, the costume would've been $39.99 before tax with free shipping. Amazon had the same costume for $38.69 before tax with free shipping. Customer service at this location was A-OK. The employee who helped me with the Leonardo costume was nice. This Party City is inside The Peach shopping center in Buckhead. It's the same shopping center that has a Publix and Barnes & Noble.

    50% sales! Yay

Dropping in a last minute costume. I noticed alot of 50% off Holloween clearance signs. Which Is always fantastic with me at any store. There's a lot of empty shelves because it is after one of the most expensive holidays. Holloween!! Customers darn near cleared the store of anything close to Holloween decor. I was trying to find a Day of the Dead costume. But it wasn't that much left. One young man who work there saw the struggle on my face, trying to decide on what to put together for this costume. I did get his name, but he was very helpful and polite. I did notice that he was only one running helping the few customers with there needs. But needless to say I chose some pretty good 50% off Holloween clearance items.

    Curbside pickup

Placed a curbside pickup order with a 5:09p pickup time... its 5:37p and I'm still waiting. I called and they said they were coming... it's been paid for so why is it so hard to just bring it out.

Huge selection of balloons. This isn't even half of what they have!

Incredible selection of fun stuff for a Hawaiian themed party as well as tons of balloons and candy. I need to come and shop here just for fun not only when I am in party mode. I got a great gift for the party I was headed to and tons of ideas for cute things to grab on my next visit. Dean was very helpful to me in selecting just the right item. Fast and friendly checkout. I will be back soon. Party onl!

    Fitting room for Halloween

Second year in a row coming to this location for a Halloween costume. A bit disappointed in the costume selection, costume I want wasn't available and I was left having to pick another one. It's more than 15 days away from Halloween and already sold out for costumes? I would say go elsewhere but they do have the largest selection for costumes under $100 and the staff is super friendly even if you come in at 10pm on a Friday night! The fitting room area is a little disappointing, it's in the middle of the candy aisle and only two to uses, recommend for you don't wait until everyone is coming closer to Halloween if you need to try on costumes. Overall pretty alright experience and mostly likely will be coming back next year again and don't forget to check the Party City website for coupons!

Of the Party City stores I have been to, this store in Buckhead is the nicest! There was nothing wrong here.

Awful service. This place is a wreck and never gets anything right. I'd recommend driving to another part of town for whatever you need

So, we had in mind Popeye and Olive Oyl, but they didn't have it. Bummer. We decided to be open, and look for any other cute couple costumes. There wasn't a great selection here, but we decided to try cop costumes on, and they both were sooo cheaply made. The prices here aren't great, either. Everything we saw was $39.99. I felt like most of the store was that price, and for the quality, not worth it. I get that costumes typically aren't made of the best quality, but the one I tried one was so poor quality I was concerned it might not make it through the night. Now on to the dressing rooms...wow, could you at least hang up the mirrors? They are on the floor and it was difficult to see how you look without scrunching way down. There was stuff on the floors, and they were really not well kept. I actually thought my boyfriend looked great in his costume, but he thought the material was too cheap as well, so we both walked out emptyhanded. There are plenty of other costume places to check out. This one missed the mark.

All of the employees at this store were super nice and helpful. I didn't even know that they would actually let people try costumes on, but my sisters and I were able to try maybe about a dozen costumes (combined!). They let us take two costumes in the fitting room at a time, and they even let us take pics! Super sweeeeeet! I ended up finding the perfect costume, and to top it all off, the cashier who helped me - Malik - let me use a 20% off coupon I found next to the register! =) That totally made my day. Thanks, Malik!!! 5 stars for the Duluth Halloween City store - located conveniently next to the Pleasant Hill Assi! ;) P.S. Print out their 20% off coupon from their website before you go! And they have a daily iPad 2 drawing going on through Halloween, so don't forget to give them your email address before you leave the store! Happy Halloween, everyone!~
