Additionally, for the food quality. We asked for a chocolate cake to celebrate a birthday as part of our chef services. It was store bought. While it tasted great, I was shocked and disappointed. Shane catered a 100 person wedding and customized a special menu just for us, carefully accounting for local ingredients and what was in season.. When the venue didn't have the right equipment he brought in his own industrial grill. They somehow managed to feed 100 people all about the same time and were so meticulous about every detail. Wedding food is usually quite bad as it's hard to cook for so many all at once. While this group is of course more expensive than most, the percentage increase in cost translates to a multiple-fold increase in quality. I strongly believe that if your guests are going to go out of their way to be at your wedding you owe it to them to try to provide a good experience, and food quality is one of the most important parts of this.
