Her prices were very reasonable, and more importantly the food was amazing, homemade, and beautiful to look at. She invited us up for a tasting which helped us plan our menu, and we even were able to rent tableware, utensils, and glass ware from her. Not only were her rental prices some of the best we found, her rentals were of stunning quality. No plastic here! She has a large collection of china plates you can choose from and even mix and match with. Plus she offers crystal glass ware, and gold and silver utensils. You can really create your own unique look. The day of our wedding Terri and her staff were wonderful, self sufficient, and did everything they said they would. The food was delicious and fresh, and my guests are still asking for the salad dressing recipe! I cannot recommend Terri and Double Portions enough.

The food catered to the event was from Jinan's Kitchen, uniquely delicious homemade Iraqi food coming out of the Southside. Chef David Hussey, an award-winning chef whose career has taken him from London to Australia,…read moreBeijing, and New York City, offers a truly unique cooking experience on his beautiful seven-acre property in Trenton, Georgia. This class was a birthday gift from my son, a thoughtful choice since we share a love of cooking--and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had in a kitchen. We prepared a spatchcock chicken, stuffed with pockets of fresh, homegrown herbs, and were gently guided through the process of creating a spring vegetable risotto using locally sourced ingredients. Although I spend a great deal of time cooking, David's depth of knowledge--shaped by years in professional kitchens across the world--made the experience feel entirely new and immersive. What stood out most was his teaching style. Despite his impressive background, he was never intimidating--only patient, encouraging, and genuinely passionate about sharing what he knows. After cooking everything to perfection over a wood fire, we sat down to enjoy the meal: the chicken and risotto accompanied by a kale Caesar salad, Steel Pioneer signature sourdough bread, homemade cultured butter, and an unforgettable yogurt panna cotta with strawberries, almond crumble, mint, and praline tuile. And I would be remiss not to mention David's peach kombucha--it was exceptional. By the end of the evening, especially after spending time with his delightful wife Julie, we felt less like guests and more like family. If you're looking to learn how to create incredible food over an open fire, enjoy a magical evening, and connect with a truly interesting and gracious host, this is an experience worth booking. It's one you won't soon forget
